The only real arguement about the Ring of Wealth is based on these criteria: 1.) What other ring you wear. 2.) What you're fighting. Basically, if you fight something that only drops one rare object and that isn't even very good, wearing a zerker will allow you to kill more of them and get a lot more average drops which will most likely add up to more than getting the rare object. However if you wore no ring rather than the ring of wealth, you would end up - in the long term - worse drops. However if you're fighting DKs, a RoW is proven to help, because the rare drops are worth so much more than the other drops, and each monster drops more than one type of decent rare drop - a ring each, an axe each, and a special item (for Prime and Supreme.) The RoW DOES increase your chance of getting a rare drop, but rare doesn't always mean expensive, so this may or may not be beneficial to you. RoW also does absolutely nothing to help you get better non-rare drops, and again, it only increases the probability, so in the end, it's down to luck anyway. Just because the RoW isn't as helpful - at all times - as perhaps, a zerker ring, it doesn't mean it's not doing it's job, it just means that another ring might do the job better.

I just find it amusing how the guy playing the vampire in Twilight also played Cedric Diggery in the Harry Potter films. :D

Honestly they're both very good for different reasons. However they share on key feature: capturing the reader's imagination. Waking up one day to find that you're a wizard and discovering a whole new magical world is pretty damn awesome, as is being an ageless vampire with awesome powers. Personally I prefer Harry Potter at the moment, but then the difference is I've read all the Harry Potter books and seen all the films, wheras I've only seen the Twilight film, and even though I found it very good, everyone says the books are far better than the film. Sounds to me like they're both pretty awesome.

Off topic: Is that you in your avatar? Anyways, I don't feel I'll join the military. It doesn't really offer anything of interest to me, aside from maybe a good workout. =D> :lol:

I'd probably go in as an Officer after training and leave after a few years. There are a lot of bonuses to your career that you can get from a few years in the army, especially as an officer, and they will also sponsor you through University, that's what my cousins have done. However the army isn't my calling I don't think.

The main attraction of Runescape is the communication for me, and how would that work on a console? The typing systems on all consoles are far too slow and wouldn't be able to be used in game, so speech? But then who would be able to hear you? Anyone in a certain range or only certain players? Then censorship would be shot to bits. I think it would be a very bad idea to put RS on consoles. However this was a very good read and the point that RS has been successful due to the F2P is very true, I must have clocked up 100+ hours on F2P at least before getting members.

Right... bringing this thread back on topic if that's OK with you people: Favourite game types? Favourite classes/weapons? Favourite maps? My favourite games are TDM, Domination, HQ and SnD. I prefer SMGs - MP5, P90, AK-74u all good. ;) Also I'll snipe quite often, always use M40, hardcore or not, ACOG or regular scope, love that weapon! Favourite maps have to be Bog and countown, nice wide open spaces for decent sniping, and Chinatown for ghosting with SMGs. Also if you want to add me on XBL and play a few games that's cool, just remember to let me know you're from tif or I'll probably ignore you. :P

Yeah CoD6 is gonna be epic lol. Co-op campaign both online and spit-screen, apparently a "modern" version of zombies, better graphics, a new story line... It's basically got all best bits from both games in one. (Guns being, in my opinion, far better on the Modern Warfare game.) What game types do you guys prefer playing btw? I've found that Hardcore HQ is - on most maps - absolutely awesome. On the other Hardcore game types you have to be very careful and although it may be "Hardcore TDM" it has a totally different feel to normal TDM - too many campers and you need to be very careful everywhere you tread unlike normal TDM. However in HCHQ there is something for both teams to aim for, meaning that they have to move around and you have a general idea of where they'll be. This makes the game have all the perks of a hardcore game type, just without the lame campers and confusion. The reason I love Hardcore mode is that you can see someone at the other end of a street and kill them with a machine gun even if they're running off the street. In normal game mode you can get a couple of bullets into them but they'll escape, on hardcore it's far more... hardcore. #-o :XD:
