Does anyone have a reasonable explanation as to why this is happening? Is there some huge GE-manipulating stunt going on or is it just PvP slowly bringing back what used to be? I personally think it's PvP, but don't really have much evidence to back it up. You're all saying that it's happening but anyone can look on GE and see that, I want to know why.

err... I think you mean worst instead of worse. Way to misspell the only word you dare put in capitals. ;) Also it should be "what's" instead of whats. :P I'm in two minds about the PKing and freetrade thing, because although it changed the game hugely, it made the GE possible which made my life a lot easier. I don't think there have really been any rubbish updates, disappointing ones maybe but not rubbish.

I really don't know how people can call you a noob for having a 99 cape. Having a 99 is an acheivement in itself, I bought 99 Firemaking once but as you can see from my Firemaking level, I gave up pretty quickly. Just because it's a buyable 99 (only around 4m I think, probably less now,) people think that there's no time spent doing it. It is admittedly fast xp, but it still takes long enough to make it an acheivement. There is no such thing as the wrong 99, and when people say that they mean: the one I want/have is _____. I've been playing for a long time and have a highish total level, but I don't even have a 99 cape, yet I have friends with lower total levels than me, even lower total xp, but with 3 or 4 99s. For me a useful 99 is one that you can use, so cooking and fletching perhaps, (fletching up to level 95 at least,) but Firemaking is just a skill for the point of a skill, noone really uses fires... at all. We used to use them ages ago to cook on when we were level 3, but by the time we were level 4 we all knew that ranges were better anyway. It's an acheivement to have got the level, but really it's an acheivement for the sake of having an acheivement.

It's pretty difficult to report a hacker without either acheiving nothing or getting the hacked person's account banned too. :? Jagex really need to have more info on their report forms than just a name and a few options to chose from. It's impossible to categorize every possible rule-breakage under just 13 headings.

I remember a few years ago they introduced mith and addy arrows as well as maple bows to F2P, maybe with the same intention. However without knowing how many F2Pers use those bows I wouldn't be able to say how it would affect the yew longbows market, which in it's boom stage before GE was creating probably more than a million Yew Longbows every day. (It's sounds alot but that's just 1000 fletchers making 1000 bows, and there were always at least 2 fletchers in every bank you visited, and far more in Yanille and Seers' banks.)

I know it's not the exact topic you suggested nor whether this has been fixed yet or not, but lots of people I know, me included, have found that morphic helmets are transforming into range/mage legs instead of range/mage helms... I'm yet to try out the tools.

I just get a lvl 4 clay gathering spot ASAP, then just make myself full ranger armour (trust me, it's the best one considering none of the clay armour gives offensive bonuses) and one of each weapon (scimmy for melee.) I then make runes, a few arrows, 2 p pots, 2 energy pots, and the rest food and go out PKing. It's not the best way to get points, but it's the best way to get from zero to PKing gear in as little as 2 minutes.

It's pretty fun to get a level when you don't expect it, but a bit unrealistic when you get to higher levels. Not knowing when to level up would mean drifting through the game without an aim, and although it would be a nice surprise, considering how long you have to wait for a level up when you get to lvl 90+ it would get very annoying.

My favourite, at the moment Stealing Creation, but it'll probably go back to being Clan Wars/Castle Wars fairly soon. Which minigame earns you the most money...? MTK I guess.

My 4 best friends know I play RS, and most of them know that I "used" to play RS. There was a time at my old school where everyone stopped playing so I just pretended I'd stopped playing too. Only one person there knew I played, then I moved schools and re-met an old friend (from an old old school... :roll: ) who played, and met two people at that school who also played. Recently someone from my old school (who's now at my new school) revisited RS when they were bored one day and found me playing. It took a lot of persuasion to stop him telling everyone but it's worth it. : (The fact that he was going to tell everyone he could that I play RS shows 2 things: 1.) He hates me. It's mutual. 2.) Playing RS, at my school at least, is a reason to be mocked.) The people who know I play: 1.) Used to play too, good friend. 2.) Also used to play, known him since I was about 2. ;) 3.) Used to play, now plays WoW and just updates MTK once in a while, also good friend. 4.) Still plays, good friend. My other friends probably wouldn't care too much, but I don't want to open up a terminal potential mocking-point, and when they let other people know, even if not deliberately, then it would take far longer for the point to die away. With friends, if you're with them a lot, a mocking-point will die fairly quickly, but with people you barely know and are rarely with, it's one of the few things they know about you.

Oh no it was banned and blocked and such, but they were nerds so school-level internet filters didn't really effect them in any way. ;)

Has anyone noticed that the game timer keeps saying about 30 seconds to go and then the game is ended early for some reason? I've lost so much stuff so often through that...

Team games are really great to play if you like and play well with your team-mates, however my favourite game has to be squsah due to the speed and reflexes combined with stamina. However, it is very difficult to watch squash if you are not actually watching it on location, so I would say the best and certainly easiest sport to watch (on TV) has to be rugby.

It really brought another dimension to the song! Then recently I found the following on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTSnhBOaknM&watch_response A string quartet of "Through the Fire and Flames," the song made famous to most through it's infamous position as the hardest song on Guitar Hero 3, played by the fastest band in the world - Dragonforce. The quartet who played this are the Vitamin String Quartet who have a few albums and cover many modern popular songs. Have any of you heard of anything else like these? If so please post them here because I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to hear more!

I get really annoyed when people seem to be trying to post a serious topic but in such a way that you can't read any of it without having to have a translater who can speak fluent moron. :roll: However most of the time it's either people trying to pick apart the arguement against theirs by picking on unrelated things such as grammar.
