  1. OK, I'm gonna be honest, I never thought I'd use this thread for anything more than giving advice to other people, but hey, here I am. Basically, I'm lovesick. I've been going out with this girl for just under 2 months now, and now the Summer's here I'm seeing her a lot. I kinda chose a bad time to ask her out... during our exams, so we couldn't see each other much.... But now that I can, I am physically sick before seeing her, I can't eat, and if I do... well it doesn't stay down for long. I'm NOT a sickly person, I've missed one day of school in the last 5 years due to sickness, but now just before I see her I suddenly feel sick... and it sucks. And I know it's correlated, because it's only ever the evening/morning before seeing her that this happens, otherwise I'm fine and eating normally. I feel really comfortable around her, and don't actually feel mentally that nervous about seeing her, but apparently my body disagrees. From what I've heard the only thing I can do is just to wait and let it pass, but it's been, as I said, just under 2 months and this still hasn't stopped, is there any advice you guys can offer me?

This. Every "moment" in time creates a new universe.
  3. I luurve the end slices!! But that's cos I'm a big boy who knows to eat his crusts. 8-)
  4. Interesting... [yt]mRYXKyBUiJ8[/yt]
  5. I doubt it. Girls need to learn that they can't imply things instead of just asking, anyways. Yeah. Won't happen unfortunately. Someone needs to write a "Guy's Handbook to the Female Mind". I don't think it's possible to write even half a chapter with all the paper in the world, but we can always hope...
  6. Noooo idea  My mum plays SuDoku on her phone when she's REAAAALLY bored, so my dad put 2 and 2 together, got about 31 and decided it was my mum's favourite game, so she definitely needed the board game.
  7. DON'T, I repeat DON'T cage match any guns, I did that with a the LMGs and the MP44, I regret it because it's fun doing the headshots for the golden weapons, and once you have them it's kinda boring sometimes. The dragunov was my first golden gun too, it's hella fun to get. Yeah I know, not planning to. It's gotta be hellaboring to do it like that, far more satisfying to headshot in a real game. Ground War's full of enough noobs to suit my needs anyways. :D But why would you cage MP44? That's a fairly decent gun tbh. However I think I might not be getting the gold LMG... fricking hate those things! Also they'd burn through my accuracy like no tomorrow.
  8. I wish... Nah that's my play room, tis pretty sweet though, meant to be shared between me and my sister, but she never uses it, free TV ftw? 8-)
  9. This be mine: [hide=][/hide] Can't find where my old PS2 games are but they'll be there somewhere xD Also, see if you can spot the most pro boardgame of all time... that we've never used. Disclaimer: Most of those DVDs are my parent's, so while some of them are good, don't expect me to be the type that watches some of those.
  10. OK so yesterday I got to 10th Prestige! Yay!! This morning I decided that I would work towards getting my dream gun, the golden druganov!, so I went into Ground War with my M21, UAV Jammer, Steady Aim, and some useless 1st perk, think it was Bomb Squad. It took me just under 4 hours to get Red Tiger on that thing and I was getting 2+KD on every game, that gun is a BEAST!! I've actually never used it before except for a couple of times on Hardcore and I hated it then, but now... well I thought that getting Red Tiger on that would be hell, but it turned out to be quite the opposite! Any of you found this?
  11. I've completed the Mile High Club on Vet twice  First Time with 1 Second and in blinking red to find the VIP and the last time with 4 seconds to find the VIP. Took me 10 tries to do it, and on like the 3rd I managed to [cabbage] up the VIP bit at the end.
  12. If you really love her you'd want her to be happy, whoever she's with, and if she said she had a crush on this guy and he likes her too, and you've even said yourself that he's a nice guy, then violence is definitely not the way forward. You just have to convince her (over time) that she likes you more than she does him, preferably without even mentioning him. If you're still saying things like "I know I can take him, that's not the issue" then I think you have to judge how emotionally mature you are, because to me that's pretty... awful.
  13. Well I hope the record company will make a dramatically reduced settlement... I doubt they want to be seen as a fatcat money-grabbing type company, but in the recession you never know... I want to know how they worked out that each song caused $80,000 of damages though, that's ridiculous, the punishment should be buying each song as an individual single or something like that... perhaps paying double, but $80,000? That just makes the case lose any credibility at all.
  14. Have you ever had a 'dreamless' sleep, or have you ever passed/blacked out? It's the same feeling (or rather, lack thereof). I generally lean toward the idea of 'no longer existing', although I am open to other possibilities. Near-death experiences are very interesting, and deserve much more scientific attention than they are getting now. Yea... the difference being that we wake up at the other side of it, rendering the non-event rememberable in a way, as having happened to not happen. The weirdest time was when I broke my arm and had an operation where they used the gas to knock me out, I swear I blinked and was in the same place, but everyone had moved and my arm had suddenly stopped hurting. However, in this "dreamless" sleep, our brains are still working on a subconcious level, which creates a realism about it, and the fact we wake up after makes it memberable. Death is infinitely more nothing-like.
  15. This is the thing I simply can't get my head around... I mean I know/am damn sure that it's true... but I can lie in my bed for hours, and even in my most abstract thoughts I can't imagine not existing... or not even being able to think that I don't exist... I just stop, and this makes the life I lead now seem so infantissimally small... it really is something I try to avoid thinking about now. You try to think: what does it feel like to be dead? But it doesn't feel, and nothing is or matters, or even exists from your prospective because you're not there to have a prospective any more. I could actually warble on for hours about this and get absolutely nowhere... it's scarily "nothingy", but at the same time not nothing, because nothing is, like everything else, prospective, and there is no prospective when you're dead. I actually am gonna have to force myself to stop writing now!! :wall: You wouldn't realise you didn't exist, you wouldn't understand or be aware of anything. You wouldn't even be aware of your own unawareness? Yeaauppp xD It's scary :S

  17. Love that advert! And I think you're taking it a little bit too seriously...* although perhaps if it wasn't for TV we'd be outside a lot more, it probably has lead to increased obesity levels, and due to the "healthy body, healthy mind" thing, this probably means it's made us slightly more stupid too. However you have to be slightly stupid to watch too much TV in the first place (I reckon a small amount is healthy as it helps you relax and can be informative) so perhaps it's just increased the divide between the intelligent and the less intelligent people. *But only a little. ;)
  18. ^ This... Surpised it hasn't been locked yet tbh...
  19. Err... how about 'cos the temperature changes? I don't know what you're complaining about, it's been pouring in England for the last few days, get over it.
  20. I love doing that, Those stalemate matches are always fun... Haha yea  Anyone who actually tries to win the game on Sabotage goes down there on the pile of people who actually try and win the game playing Headquarters on Shipment, I typically go 100-35ish on Shipment and haven't had a game where I've not got a triple 'nade kill at least once :D (I use bandolier, not trip frags.)
  21. Preeety much this. ^ Society defines what's right and wrong, whether it's logical or not, and honestly I would swear quite a lot more than I do at the moment - simply because I find it a powerful way to express one's self - if society allowed it... they don't. (Ironically this is the entire reason that swearing is a powerful way to express yourself, as long as you don't do it ALL THE TIME like some stupid delinquent.) Of course people still do swear, and it's only really a swear because people expect a bad reaction. If people just shrugged and didn't really mind when you said swear words, there'd be no point to them.
  22. TWO KILL STREAK No but seriously, you killed two bunnies by accident, big deal? It's not like you did it deliberately. A killer/muderer is someone who kills other people deliberately, and I guess this could losely include animals too, but you didn't kill them deliberately, so no you're not a killer. People kill things accidentally all the time, I bet I've stood on hundreds of spiders and bugs and insects and things and not even known I've killed them, I know it was a horrible experience for you with the gore of it all, but you're not a killer.
  23. I'd say you have a right to gloat considering Jesus has reincarnated himself in your mic. Genius, I would sig that if I could be bothered! And I've never had a problem with my mic, although I've only had it for like a year and it hasn't been through any of that crap.
  24. Ahhhh good memories, such an epic game! I was addicted to it for ages until my computer screwed up so bad I couldn't play it anymore. I wanted to play it for a year or two, but couldn't cos of my computer... :wall: (My parents wouldn't replace it because as long as I could still use the internet and do my homework on there it was fine in their opinion.) Anywho, I then quenched my need by getting an xbox360 and CoD4, then revisited those old days with BF:Bad Company, but it wasn't quite the same...
  25. I'm pretty sure they are. Death is one of the most fundamentally and universally understood occurances in the natural world... But non-sentient animals aren't actualy aware of death, just instinctively afraid of it. Hmm fair point... awareness and fear are different, but then again can you be afraid of something that you're not aware of? (This is different to being scared of something that you don't know about, because in that situation you are aware of what's there, you just know nothing/little about it.) Perhaps - as living organisms that can feel pain - they're scared of pain/great pain rather than being afraid of death? Just a thought... but I'm guessing that animals see death fairly often and so even if they can't communicate their worry to others they'll still know about it.
