  1. Basically this laptop decided it would just blue-screen about two weeks ago, couldn't do anything about it myself so sent it off to be repaired, where they factory reset it and sent it back to me 'brand new'. Problem is that 'brand new' also means 'without your stuff' so I've lost my itunes library. Now I have the music on my iPod Touch (32GB if it helps) but can't get it off there and onto the new iTunes because my iPod's synced with another library (the one that no longer exists.) I've looked online and it seems that for iPod Touches it's no longer possible to simply copy the files across so I need help from you guys, what can I do??
  2. Excluding Overloads is just as stupid as excluding spirit shields or full Torva's, hell Herblore costs less than them! In Runescape people with better armour beat people with worse armour, end of story. Runescape combat is based on increasing the probability of hitting high and decreasing the probability of getting hit, this is done by having better armour and better stats. If someone only plays on weekends and can't get 99s should they somehow be allowed the same advantages as someone who trains to max combat? No. If someone spends their money and time getting herblore up, should they get the advantage from this just as they do from having good armour and stats? Definitely.
  3. Ah good point, forgotten about junk... bloody ge haha :P What if he had all the junk he needed to sell it with?
  4. OK, I have a friend (he quit years ago and no he's not selling his acc so don't bother :P) who has one of every phat and a cracker, as well as 2 of all the other rares. He played back when they were given out and just kept them cos he wanted to. What I'm wondering is, what is that worth? :P
  5. Awesomesauce Cal! Good luck mate, keep up with the Slayer!! :D
  6. Haha somewhere in the region of 9001/10 for both slayer and poetry! :D
  7. I don't know how experienced you are with Solo Bandos but if you haven't gone there often I'd stick with Ring of Life until you get confident, and then switch it out to Seers Ring.
  8. Well to answer your first question, I'd say by the sounds of it you've got it spot on right now. Going into a bigger world will up the pressure on you, and it's always nice to have a little bit of a time cushion for if things start going badly, don't want to risk getting into a fatal situation or having to tele out early just got 5 seconds or so.

  10. OK tried Hijackthis but now it says I have to pay if I want to repair the problems it's found... How do I post this "log"?
  11. I used Avira Antivirus Free, tis my antivirus program...
  12. Bump :S Seriously does nobody have any ideas what I can do?
  13. I'm currently experiencing a very annoying "condition" as I shall call it with my computer. Firstly: Virus check - no problems. Keyboard check - no problems. I'm on Windows Vista. OK, the weird problem I'm having is quite difficult to define, and may be two seperate problems but it seems unlikely as they started at the same time. 1.) The "start" menu keeps popping up and down, literally every 2-3 seconds. No idea why, the Windows button on my keyboard is working fine, I've cleaned it out and everything and it's got nothing to do with me hitting that... 2.) Typing. This is intermittent, and for the majority of this post has luckily been alright. However, when I type things (and this is not a new laptop, I've had it for a while and know the shortcuts on it etc), either My Computer opens, or "Run" opens, or my laptop locks, or IE8 comes up (while I'm using Firefox). Rebooting doesn't seem to work either. OK editting this now thanks to typing coming back. It appears that some sort of function key has been pressed to cause windows relating to what I'm typing to pop up (r - Run, l - Lock, etc) but when I hit the function key the problem persisted and I do not remember having hit any sort of key like that. (In fact I just pressed the Function Key to try it out and it did not have that effect.)
  14. Found a really fun class to suit the more rushing-type player in this game, P90 Silenced/UMP5 Silenced Striker Stuns, Semtex Marathon Pro Lightweight Pro Ninja Pro Tis a lot of fun ;)
  15. I wanna know wtf IW was thinking when they nerfed the Deagle - a gun that in cod4 was good but only as a secondary - yet include Akimbo Model1887s as secondary weapons, which most people seem to rape with as primarys...
  16. I'm not sure whether I like it or not that they don't tell us how to get any of the callsigns... But then I guess as we can't even see them before we've unlocked them it's not too bad, definitely liking the surprise of getting them for acheivements I didn't think would be registered. :D
  17. Wow my KD has leapt up this morning! :D Really got to grips with this game now, had a few nice games in TDM: 29 for 2 46 for 8 (46/75 kills with 5 other players on my side... What were they doing!? Nobody else on the map even broke double figures for kills xD) 38 for 1 (My best game so far, got a 10 kill streak followed by a 28 streak.) 33 for 4 25 for 1 Used: FAMAS RDS PP2000 RDS Frag, 2x Stuns. Sleight of Hand Pro - THIS IS SO GOOD! The fast aiming in makes the FAMAS unstoppable, and the fast reload is great for those tricky situations. Stopping Power Pro - Makes FAMAS 1-burst kill, very important. Steady Aim Pro - Can consistantly one-burst hipfire people from ~3-4 feet, pretty nifty. (These perks are very important for this setup, each one makes the FAMAS more deadly than the last. Although Pro isn't needed on Steady Aim or Stopping Power to make it a good class, it is very important on Sleight of Hand as it gives you that faster aiming in that allows you to kill people with fully automatic weapons.) Killstreaks: UAV - 3 Kills. Attack Helicopter - 7 Kills. Chopper Gunner - 11 Kills. This is so important for me, UAV is a must-have for TDM, would never sacrifice that, then can easily get the 4 kills for the chopper, then just go a bit more defensive for the Chopper Gunner. Chopper Gunner on an open map consistantly gets me 10+ kills, there are some maps where it isn't too great, but I've never had less than 4 kills with it. Hope this helps people out, the Killstreaks are based on how well you do though, so if you don't think you'll manage 11KS enough to make it worthwhile then possibly try degrading and using Predator and Attack Heli. (Always keep UAV on, it's very important to have this, the first team with UAV up in a TDM has a huge advantage, and the better your team does the less likely the enemy are to kill you.) Also, if you aren't so great with hitting people quickly after drawing your gun, try switching the FAMAS for the M4. This is a medium-long ranged class so remember to distance yourself, Steady Aim will help you out at short range a lot of the time but it's best not to rely on it if you can avoid it, I only really use it when I get impatient and storm a building or if someone surprises me.
  18. Aaaargh so many of my friends have it already, and I have a virtually free night in which to play it today!! Why did I order over Amazon instead of Game???
  19. Abby, ignore the other consoles for a second. Let's pretend cod mw, and mw2 are only for PC. For MW, you could have mods, generally low pings, big games, and manually join servers. In MW2 you have none of that. It costs more by, you know, costing 10$ more? Though some would argue for PC it's free. Exactly, even though I play on the 360, I can still see PC gamers getting boned. Justcallmedaddy quit being [developmentally delayed]ed for just a second to realize that. In America it isnt 10$ more, and consoles never had any of that so now its more balanced. Balenced? People spend £1,000s on amazing computers so they can play top-level games, as much as I hate to say it as a 360 user, PC is where all the top-level competetive gaming happens, it's what makes that "console" special. Taking away dedicated servers is a horrible move.

    Squash

That sounds crazy ... ... Awesome!!  But yea it's those really long rallies that make the game so great, none of that Ace crap like tennis
  21. I watched a full TDM from some guy on YouTube, decent quality and full teams, looks absolutely incredible! I really felt like I got the game and could get into it with the ease expected of someone coming from the first to the second game in a series, it hasn't changed too hugely as I had feared, the essential parts of the game are essentially the same, slightly tweaked to improve them, and some fantastic extras added on. Like all the bonus points for various things including headshots really attracts me to it :D
  22. Fightstar is not metal. LOL oop I meant mental rofl xD I'm seeing Fightstar tomorrow night, haven't seen them live in ages. Very excited - even more so about Prego as they are the only support band playing i haven't been able to see. Last band i saw at the Portsmouth Pyrmaids was Paramore (Or kids in glass houses - can't remember) edit: Just found out Nixa aren't playing, but Young guns are so Deaf Havana will be the only support i've seen Ooh you don't have Saving Aimee? I guess the supports change with the venue but we had Prega, Young Guns and Saving Aimee. Young Guns are awesome though, really get the crowd going :D Didn't really see too much of Prega, they were playing as the crowd was coming in and getting settled so probably didn't have the greatest performance of their lives lol.

    Squash

The back corner isn't actually the best serve, the best serve is to get it to scrape along the side wall about a metre or two before the back wall, so that the shot you mentioned can't be played. But yes that is a very good shot to do to take out dodgy servers, however if they get to the T as quickly as they should it won't be too hard to return. Winning off the return assumes that the person you are playing against has made a mistake so can't really be relyed on to win games. But yes it's definitely one of those sports where a decent player will struggle to lose a point against anyone who's rarely played
  24. This stuff about people getting MW2 pisses me the F off!! I'm paying good money to get this game on the release date and these guys are getting it for free weeks early!!
