If you read IGN, its most likly the swat shield they talked about. Yeah I was thinking it could be the riot shield too. If you have to use a nade to kill someone in a fast-paced game like cod4 then the position they are in is a good one, if you can just transport this shield around with you wherever you go and set it down then it's overpowered.

I was watching a war film last night and got thinking about a new game mode: True hardcore: It would involve everything that normal hardcore includes except with these extras: -No health regeneration at all. (Max health still being 30 like on hardcore.) -No air support. -No hitmarkers. -No killfeed. -No telling you when you've killed anyone. -No scores shown until the end of the game. -No perks. -No HUD of any kind, including hipfire crosshairs. -Friendly fire on. -No names above your team mates, if you mistake the uniforms all game then that's your fault, if you want to know if they're on your team or not you'll be forced to communicate. I think that this would make for some incredible gameplay. Imagine it, you fire at a guy in a building, he falls down, but have you even hit him? Is he dead? Could he have just gone prone? You have no idea, just like you wouldn't in real life.

you're absolutly right, hardcore is far better than the regular mode. in fact, its the only mode i ever play. the only thing i miss is is the exp bar at the bottom, but once i got 55 it doesnt matter.. I reckon I would love hardcore if it had normal health. Because of the insta-death if you're surprised by anybody, it really puts me off, in a regular game mode I can often win a fight even if amushed just because I'm a decent player and will get to cover and hit my shots, but in Hardcore there's no time to do anything skillful, it's shoot or be shot. However the lack of a UAV and KillCam attracts me to it as it allows players with a good knowledge of the map to reap kills unimpeded by revengers. But it's more realistic. If someone jumps out from behind you, and starts shoot at you with an ak47, in reality, your dead. Unless they have terrible aim, you're gonna take a few bullets and be dead and out. And there is UAV, iirc. Well, what can I say? I love abusing the fact that most people playing regular TDM are terrible at cod4. :D

^Background information Stuff on the internet keeps saying I should try to find something in common with people and talk about that. I consider this worthless because I don't know how to start a conversation in the first place. Going up to a girl and complementing her on something would be weird because I've never talked to any of them, so that won't work. Obviously nobody will come to me, so I really don't know what to do. I've heard that you should try to sit next to her in class or something (I'm in high school, so I don't need any of that "getting laid at work stuff) and ask about homework or something related to the class. I don't know what kind of school these people go to where they can just break out in conversation in the middle of class, please don't suggest this. I've heard that you could ask her to hang out with you and your friends, but I don't have any friends and I've never "hung out". The only thing I can think of would be to say "hi", but I don't really know what to do after that. I guess I'm just asking for a way to have a conversation with somebody with these circumstances. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid that at your level on the social ladder there is no easy way out for you, all I can think of is joining a club at school and then talking to people there about the club itself to start a conversation. This gives you a way to see the same people at least every week who (if you chose a club that you like) should at least share a basic interest with you. I really don't care if they're milking the games, they make incredible games that I love playing, and I'm willing to pay for the fun they give me, so why not?

Oh come on that guy is the definition of tool. You're probably right that not everybody hates him, but I'm willing to guess that those who like him are all tools or wannabetools.

I don't really see what you mean by risk it... OK there's a tiny chance that you might go into a game where people are using it, but then when you do you can just back out and play a different one. It's not like a virus or anything, you could play with these guys all day and the worst that would happen is you'd start getting annoyed at them...

COD4 had more than 4 'proper' maps, so don't worry. Excluding the DLC (Which I have not played), I don't think there was a map that wasn't fun to play on. I think the worst was Downpour, but that was incredibly fun to play with a Stealth class. I speak in past tense because my COD4 disc is scratched :( I meant the map pack. One of the maps, Killhouse, is only playable in small games like Team Tactical and Free for all. Yeah I was disappointed with that, I'd played it at a mate's house and thought that as it was bigger than Shipment and people play HQ on shipment you could play on it a lot.

We already found a new way around the patch, cause IW is too lazy to fully patch because they're busy with MW2. No tutorial until 200 subscribers! Subscribe lul Theres already many tutorials. Well it's difficult for me to guage quite what you mean "I've never really talked to anybody", but I'll try to help all the same. Basically people at your school should be easy to talk to, ask about tests or homework or anything like that, even if you already know the answer, the topic at the start of a conversation doesn't really matter (within reason) as long as it actually starts a conversation. At a youth group ask them what sorta stuff they get up to there normally or how their holidays have been/are going. As long as you can spark a response from them it should be easy from there, you can just talk about whatever they respond to you about, expand on the topic etc. I don't know if I've patronised you here or whether you'll find it useful but there you are. :

Nah I played a Team Tac the other day with a couple of mates and the other team were all UFOing. Basically they flew around and through buildings and stuff, but you couldn't interact with them at all until they landed, but they landed on top of buildings and stuff which made it really hard to kill them even when they did land. We still managed to win the match though lmao. :lol:

If I'm on my own sometimes I'll imagine trying to explain how things work and how society is different in the 21st century to someone from the past (for some reason I seem to have settled on Henry the 8th :lol: )

Heh I love using a Silenced G3, Bandolier, UAV Jammer and Dead Silence. If you get a decent spot to kill people from you're an inaudible, undetectable silenced sniper and can seriousl reap kills. :D
