  1. L-96 Sniper Rifle Preventing a situation from escalating is in your favor as an up-close fight would result in almost certain defeat, however if you know its going to happen you'll hit first and with little warning. You like a fight on your terms and will generally wait patiently for the right moment for an unsuspected strike. In the words of Kool-Aid... OOOOH YEEEAAAAAH!
  2. Sorry, but could I stop everyone for a minute and direct them in the direction of the man behind her? What. The. Hell. Is. He. Doing!
  3. I tell you what, the scene where Snake defeats Sniper Wolf in MGS is a great one.
  4. Can we change the tune to 'The music man'? \ I am the George Bush man I come from down South way And I can play! What can you play? NUCLEAR WAR!!! B-ba-b-ba-b-b-BOMB! b-b-BOMB! b-b-BOMB! B-ba-b-ba-b-b-BOMB! b-b-BOMB BAGHDAD! (woo!) \

You know when they first got to New Orleans, I think the message was very poignant. You could tell their disbelief at the destruction was genuine, and were literally clueless as to how and why America is not doing anywhere enough to help one of its most famous cities and its citizens back on its feet.

    PS3 and PS2?

Sorry to ask, but could you explain your idea of what the xbox was 'then' and 'now'. Because, IMO, I can't see much improvement >.<
  7. Vice City has the best soundtrack. Surely we can all agree on that? :P
  8. Do people think though, realistically, despite his short track record, he could gain nomination over the mad-power vehicle with all the political stops of doom and destruction that is the former First Lady?

  10. I already knew Tom meant twin. *X files music*
  11. Care to explain that little comment? If that's directed at me, I don't think it's very funny. Woah, we're a paranoid bunch today, aren't we? :| I'll leave you to think about it for a while, but no, it's not a direct insult at you. I don't have 'idiot' written over my forehead (yet :P) to insult an admin on this forum ;) But if you thought that way over my criticisms in the past over some articles, well, to be totally frank, get over it. I can assure I don't sleep at night with that on my mind.
  12. They depress me too, seeing as your 'smart' points miss the point I was trying to make completely.

Anyone said Pope yet? Dibs on Pope.
  14. Very hard to judge an all-round greatest actor, purely because of the great diversity of acting styles. For instance, for an actor who sticks to Stanislavski's method of affective memory, (which later spawned the more commonly known Method Acting) it's very hard to look past the likes of Anthony Hopkins or Robert De Niro. Both become so immersive in their roles you would truly believe them to be the character. In another example, in the field of comedic acting, Larry David is equal to none. The timing and ways of presenting a joke are impeccable, without being realistic, although it's done in such a way an audience don't care it to be. Finally, there's epic theatre, something which very few actors can achieve successfully and many actors attempt, fail and infuriate (think Brad Pitt in Fight Club). One of the greatest performances in this field was from Malcolm McDowell, playing Alex de Large in Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. He really captures the essence of Brecht's "Verfremdungseffekt" to give the film the notoriety it has with film critics today. So er, yeah. :P Acting's a passion of mine, you could say.
  15. Darn straight it was. It means the most overrated piece-of-crap-gone-popular-for-the-middle-teen-masses was finally finished.
  16. And with education, we can come up with new ways to create different problems. Oh yeah. I went there. Deep ^-^
  17. Or someone else with low self-esteem and need for constant assurance. Geez, that makes Tip.It sound like it started out as a small clan! ~Mr. Devnull It did.
  18. Hallo thar. I've googled many a time to try and find a cable that will allow me to play my Nintendo Wii on my TFT monitor. This has come around ever since I threw my TV out of my halls 2nd floor window, very rock'n'roll, I know, due to the TV license folks knocking on my door. To cut the story short, yes, I know the rules, yes I was going to claim it as a monitor, but yes, I could still receive TV signals without an external ariel. So out it went. Literally. Back to the matter on hand, I keep coming up short for a relatively cheap option to connect my Wii to my TFT. I recall the Xbox having a cable, and I also recall talk of Nintendo releasing a cable, but nothing as of yet. I found a VGA translator for around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã40, which seems a bit steep for me. So, anyone got any alternative methods? It's a regular TFT, cable output (I think its VGA...or RGB...gah I get so confused >.<), so any methods, posted with a guide, would be greatly appreciated by your resident smeghead. Viva Crispy Duck.
  19. Would be even better if he was Barack's running mate :P Ooo, take that, wife!
  20. Before you try on something big, attempt a 'smaller' or 'easier' task to self teach first. For instance, Mr Smith wants to program and so embarks on learning C++. Being new to the field it complexes him and he gives up. He then attempts an easier coding language, Visual Basic. Having grasped this, he has learnt his capacities in self teaching, allowing him to use his experience in tougher times ahead in a similar field, like C++. :P
  21. Then it would appear your days are severely limited. All I'm going to say is, don't argue or discuss an issue you clearly know very little about. It's for your own good.
  22. I think most people would say yours look more ridiculous. It's called an opinion. Mine would have to be the Bugatti Veyron. It's the kind of car that would force you to have sex with it, only for you to realise it's the best you've ever had.
  23. There's no point in educating the world if there isn't going to be a world in X amount of years because of climate change.
