  1. Yeah, pain can keep you up, for sure. I always liked a purple strepsil and boiling hot ribena when I had a sore throat.
  2. We're definately just talking about the voice here? No lyricism or what have you? For me, although Sinatra is a close second, the person I believe to have had the best voice ever is Nat King Cole. Oh my word, he has the voice that can gently lull you to sleep and yet, in his repetoire, he can get so much soul and meaning out of a few words it gives you the goolies. Love him. I'm decided on that. NKC FTW :P

I beat it with condom. It didn't have it in its database, but man, did it come up with some funny questions
  4. Crikey, how could I forget! :o Should probably count Peter Gabriel as well. Poor old Peter Gabriel. The thing people remember most about him being in Genesis was being a big flower on stage. And the thing people remember him most for as a solo artist is his play-do face getting bashed in in his video for "Sledgehammer" :P

I was thinking of a skittle. It got to hard candy at 22 guesses, which I guess it is. It said M&Ms at 18 though, so pretty close :) *Edit* Damn, it beat me on 17! Q17. I am guessing that it is a sock? Right, Wrong, Close 16. Can it fit in an envelope? Probably. 15. Does a hockey player use it? Usually. 14. Can it help you find your way? No. 13. Can it cheer you up? It is classified as Other.
  6. It is a nice idea. Although, when experiencing the wonderful game of *shudders* Eternal Lands, I found that as soon as it rained, everyone was like: "OMG lag pl0x?!" I think that games in java, but either way I can't see RuneScape's capabilities being that much better.
  7. Well then, Captain Obvious, you'd see where I lie in this arguement. Don't get me wrong though, folks. Take up a sport because you enjoy it, not just to win things. Just that, when you're involved, I don't know about you, but for me losing to a bunch of inferiors isn't my idea of fun.
  8. Rod Stewart and the Faces? Meh, I wouldn't call either big though.
  9. I agree on Gladiator. I've always liked the raging bull soundtrack as well. But unfortunately, nothing compares to the almighty: FOOTLOOSE :D
  10. In reference to the above, if that's about the Singapore thing I understand totally where you're coming from. I had been using putfile quite awhile before that and, well, it's just a convenience to me. Sorry if I offended anyone with neo-nazi putfile :(
  11. If winning isn't everything, why keep score?

    Kebab!

Ah there's nothing like kebab farts the morning after :D
  13. I quite like Tidings of comfort and joy, Glo-ooooooo-oooooooo-ooooooooo-ooooooo-oooooria and In the bleak midwinter. I don't know how many are actually carols though. I'm not Christian either. These were just forced upon me as a child and they caught on.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stig LMAO :P
  15. Bubsa you can have the DB9, just watched Top Gear and...what a car :D It really does make every other car look inadequate somehow, i still love the Aston but that Bugatti is simply astonishing. For all of you Top Gear buffs there is a rumour that i read in the magazine that when the Stig drove it back to the factory in Italy he broke down and cried when he handed the keys over because he knew he'd never drive another car like it. ...Well that's impossible. We all know that The Stig has no eyes and only sees through binary. The Bugatti really is the car's equivalent to concorde. Retails at ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã800-900,000...cost ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5million to make each. VW did it just for the technical exercise. As for The Stig...some say that his voice frequency is heard only by dolphins...and that he is capable of obtaining a gravitational pull
  16. I can't see why Jagex would ever want to implement this.
  17. I tell you what: if they do win, I'll do that in Liverpool, film it and then post it on these forums. You can hold me to that. Sod's law says they now will win...but it'll be worth it :P
  18. CJ, just watched Top Gear, per chance? :P
  19. Bubsa coach potatoes seem to be retaliating.  the attack has begun  I fear the organic rebellion
  20. From an ignorant perspective, I think it's brilliant how America recognises the talent of a state, especially when you consider its huge size. In Britain, you don't get anything that's even close to the recognition college football players get. OK, the funding and the set up is completely different and the comparison is a pretty futile one, but I'd seriously love coverage like this in England. When you think about it, these guys are still kids. It makes it much more personal, in a sense, when someone near your age is having such a big impact in the country, probably explaining why many of you are saying you prefer college football over the NFL. I think its great the recognition these people get and I'd jump at the chance to experience it, even if it meant watching as a spectator. How about it? Think America would dig a 17 year old scouse rugby player to come over and teach you a few tricks? :P
  21. Really? Someone mumbling through his teeth for 4 minutes isn't really my cuppa.
  22. Mind showing me where you got that idea from? Bubsa, what are you talking about. RuneScape is clearly the first fantasy game of all time! Bubsa = Noob :(
  23. They were great stories to say the least. If there was ever going to be a return I'd welcome it with open arms :)
