From an ignorant perspective, I think it's brilliant how America recognises the talent of a state, especially when you consider its huge size. In Britain, you don't get anything that's even close to the recognition college football players get. OK, the funding and the set up is completely different and the comparison is a pretty futile one, but I'd seriously love coverage like this in England. When you think about it, these guys are still kids. It makes it much more personal, in a sense, when someone near your age is having such a big impact in the country, probably explaining why many of you are saying you prefer college football over the NFL. I think its great the recognition these people get and I'd jump at the chance to experience it, even if it meant watching as a spectator. How about it? Think America would dig a 17 year old scouse rugby player to come over and teach you a few tricks? :P
