game gonna be like wow in 5 years...where u buy the game and pay monthy :x No offense.. but Rs has been around about 8 years right? ( maybe 7). Do you think they haven't already considerd that a long time ago? And obviously decided not to. Also, im sure these posts and thoughts are talked about everyday for the last 7-8 years since it started. It doesn't seem to pull through, but i think we worry ourself to much.. I personally think it will be around a few more years at the least, its still making more than its losing, why would they end it?

PC'ers aren't the arrogant high levels, YOU are. Arragant? I'm just simply telling you there's a problem when a lvl 120 has the skill of a level 85.. and obviously your offended because of your personal level

right.... PC does not "ruin" RS, but it does: A: Create high lvl characters who instead of helping out newer characters, need help themselves on even basic things. These are often arrogant, immature, jerks who because they have a superior combat lvl believe they own RS, though that is not always the case. Pc is also risk free, dumbing down the game considerably. Bingo!! As I stated. You never need to learn things such as potting, prayer bonses, also EATING! Ever seen a Pc Product in C wars? they dont know what healing is, they figure their full hp and prayer with 1.2k gp every 60 seconds

Who cares if the new higher levels are not as educated within the game...that is a bigger advantage to the people who do know much about the game, because when a new update does come out, you will better know how to use it to best of your advantage. I want to know others thoughts. That's the main problem.. They make 120+cmb a joke.. My freind pced 99 atk and stre, and doesn't understand prayer bonus armors, potions fighting etc etc.. The basics you learn training in RS. When a majority of the 120s in Rs play like a lvl 85-90, that shows there's a problem.

If you want to see the most impressive 99 slayer accomplisment look up Dirtbag02 99 Slayer at 66 strength. What a maniac. Ye... to bad hes 99 range and mage huh? you can me 1 melee if you range and mage... this is quite pathetic so see a 99 slayer post. What's an accomplishment is I Never Pk U, hes 5 in atk, 15 in slayer, and only 60 defence..

You could maybe, just maybe get it to 99 range, atk,stre,def, and magic, but with all those 99s hp would be well over the 99 mark by a few mil xp, if you didn't count HP i'd think its possible. With an account basically only slaying on rs the whole time

No offense dude, but you have a good grabber titale im my opinion to read this forum, but then you say you would pay more for less chance of a ban? Edit your post and ask if people would pay more for big and better updates and such, but for a ban, its simple, don't break the rules... Zman

glad to see you noticed, I figured I'd get flamed :lol: . The thing is, if Jagex released really really good updates every month, the game would change too fast. A strong armor could come out one month, prices would be high, the hype for it would be big, and then an even stronger armor comes out the next month the market for it crashes. You eventually get to the point where there like 50 different types of armor and the market is waaaay too big. Jagex usually released 4-5 really good updates a year which I think is a good pace. Just enjoy the little bonuses and things they give for smaller quests and the fun in doing the updates (even if they aren't worth much). Actually, i feel the opposite. Maybe Jagex should make a monthly update that isn't a waste of time or completly meaningless to the game. These little quests are just stupid, and we rarely get anything worth our time on updates, mainly because their putting time into these silly quests. Maybe if they did a monthly update, we would get some items or quest worth doing or getting.

Lets not get into the arguements of who gets best bonuses and such, as range has the least armors/weapons out of melee, magic, and range

NEVER Lol, have you noticed a good update hasn't come out since ummmmm Skill Capes? Have you noticed all the updates are pitiful quests? My freind who has 2 99s, and used to do the quests the day they were out, never using a guide, quit last week. He was tired of getting his hopes up weekly, then they give some garbage quest that anyone can do. I mean we just got a new quest today, requirments? ohh yaaa 10 Contruction, wow thats a challenge, I don't think almost all RS can do this one. How long will a guide take for it? 2 hours? Now go back to Underground Pass, Desert Tresure, Monkey Madness. and even Lunar Diplomacy, guides for those took a week, if not more. Z-Man

Second, woodcutting is boring.. i can't stand watching the screen do it as i don't even click, i have to be doing skills where your clicking and such. You have a different outtake on it, so keep cutting your yews, thats what you enjoy.

That is my point exactly, when I see some people walking around RS with a phat, go talk with them, look how they act. You can tell they didn't farily buy that party hat, i know they hacked, scammed or bought 150+mil for it. Also, thats still easier than sitting hours skilling like you said. Im not going to call you a liar, but you can get 99 construction with 110m, but lets give it an extra for 10m for extra.. then you can possibly, high doubt it, spent 80m in the house. If you didn't buy creatures you could probably complete a house perfectly like 40m. Maybe ask you freind again?

the thing with arena spells, they are so flipping slow, and here is a senario (sp) ok, i was fighting an initiate (sp) pure and me haven 87 mage with claws of guthix charged and tb i thought i could take him easy, but i forgot, melee's beat everything D'OH what was i thinking? i started by casting tb, then i proceeded to start casting claws of guthix on him (i have already used charge about 30 sec before) the first hit was a 28 and i was very happy and i keep on casting, guess what happened? yes your right, with that DUMB AS * 15% mage pray i splash on him for the next 3 casts. by that time there was no eating out of it and i got ko'd my question few questions are: Why can 1 def rangers wear everything in their armor set except the chest? if we use logic, following the "triangle" (LOL what was that?) :XD: if mages are supposed to beat melee's shouldn't their armor (robes) give Atleast stats close to rune? i mean, logicly? ranger = high mage def. melee = high range def. mage's = high melee def? DONT GIVE ME THAT oh ahrims has good melee def dood. it has stats compairible to addy. and costs what? 1.7m? I WANT AN ARMOR SET FOR MAGES THAT = RUNE in stats (not range def) AND ONLY COSTS 200-500k a set? Once again... you can keep them off you 20 seconds.. you shouldn't need armor period. yeah ok, i see your point, its not like no one ever takes full black and a msb out so most of your spells fail and they can still shoot you and when your ice wears off, they just run up and dds you. but yeah i can see you never needing any armor. #-o -.- oh, so you can also see mage will hit through black dhide likes its nothing if a high enough spell? if not go play castle wars, try to get through the mages with only blk hide on. Second its a triangle of Death, mage owns melee, melee owns rangers, rangers own mages. Do you just want it to me mage owns all?

I know, mage is so under powered... gosh jagex how dare them. They should just make spells that hold people still for 20 seconds, and hit 30s! or Spells that poison, or heal yourself.. Oh wait. It's call Ancients Stop complaining about specs

PLAYER OWNED SHOPS would work great, just not good for World 2 merchanters. Here's how i think POS would work nicely, post any improvments to it please. The shops advertisement is all on forums, and the prices are set. Then there are 4 markets around RS where you can go, enter the players name, and buy the item for the set price, like a normal store in RS. Cash is automatically put into the bank of the seller. I can only see PROS to this: No dealing with merchanters No sitting in world 2 or forums all night trying to sell 1 measely item Can be sold while not online no lurers/scammers.. have you ever seen a general store scammed? AND!! the best yet NEVER NEED TO AGREE ON WORLD AND PLACE!

Hmmm...Cannons grant no hp experience i do believe so :wink: Of all players i think that i would know this the best would i not? :P If i continue pointlessly trying for a no trimmed slayer cape ill be pretty high up on this list :wink: i was talking to a 99 slayer ( freind of mine) and we talked about Slayer Cape untrimmed.. and well, you will only see 2 of these in Rs, in the manual and in shilo village. Think about it, its not possible to not have another 99, unless you recoil all your monsters... and well slayer with normal killing takes around 14 months.. so recoiling woul be like... 3-4 years? of nolifing.

the complaint people have with pc isnt about the average IQ of ALL players, just the high leveled ones. before pc, being a high combat level means you had the patience to train for months, and patience is generally(not always) tied very strongly to the maturity level of a person. pest control gives no risk, fast training that requires very little effort, and almost no cash at all, besides the initial investment of maybe full rune and d long at the least. i've never judged a person by thier combat level, to me, everyone in runescape is a scammer or a jerk unless they prove to me otherwise. i hate to be like that, but with the sheer number of dishonest players, i feel it's the only method of self defence, and for the most part, it works. back to the topic at hand, i like BA, i still play it, nearly every time i log onto world 9, there are at least a few decent teams to join. i dont think the rewards are that bad, especially the gloves and torso, and it's a nice break from the monotany of some rs skills, and isnt that what minigames are intended to be? agreed 100% You must be really desperate for post count. not IQ... AGE .. back before pc most lvl 100s were older, more mature, and less annoying, now you can meet a lvl 115 that is a 12 year old instead of 16. also with PC there's no risk, you cannot die and lose anything, so many people know nothing about the game. i know people who have 99 strength and re like 100combat, but technically they are " noobs" when it comes to anything other than PC. there are so many things you learn about with slayer or just killing monsters, that pc ruined. like for 1 example prayer boosts. have u noticed how many people have no idea what it is? and will be praying at black demons or metal dragons with rune armor.
