Okay...I was wrong, but the "bug" still works.
Yes, you should look at that screen, it can save your avatar's life. There is no excuse. The manual says you need the shield, don't push the manual. Dragons have nice extra items to keep you save, Wyverns do not.

Plasma Pong -- Rock out with Fluid Dynamics
Its not multiplayer, the topscores are just there :P. Trust me, it gets harder. The higher level you are, the more the ball responds to the fluid dynamics...which makes it very hard.

You agree that bug abuse is justified, and it's more the companies fault for having the bug than it is the user for exploiting it?

Cabbage Respawn Rates: WE NEED HELP!
All vegetables are slowed down. Its to keep people from rapidly filling sacks for farming assignments, I believe. Paul knows about us. He even compliments us and claims sacks were put into the game to help out the OoC. And yes, it is a waste of time. But so is playing Runescape and posting on these forums. Thats what makes it great.

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
Irrelevant, I am not Catholic. However, you have a decent point. So that leaves us with "what is worse": -Woman not allowed to perform high religious duties -Woman being portrayed as a tool of our lusts, desires, and wants With option 1, the woman is at least recognized as being human.

Best video game of all time!
Well for me it was more Final Fantasy 7 Because thats what I grew up with. Not to put you down or anything but I'm sure that more people like FF7, thus the reason they're making a movie about it. Plus in FF7 no one was trying to destroy the world. Sephiroth was trying to get to the "Promise Land" and the only way to do that was through Aeris. He wanted to live in what to him was a "Utopia". Obviously you stop him. The ending was quite weird though. I mean.. Out of nowhere you fight two bosses one after another. Basically it was almost impossible to do it unless you had a Mega elixer. My favorite three players were Cloud, Red, And Barrett(sp?). Still I think FF7 beats FF6. Though I am not one to really say which is a better game since I havn't played FF6. I just find it hard to believe that any game can even come close to the plot and interaction that you find in Final Fantasy 7. In FF6, the villain does not gain power until halfway through when he breaks down the doors between the world of magic and the world of technology. He absorbs the powers of the 3 gods of war and destroys the world. At the end, you are forced to fight the 3 gods of war, then Kefka himself ("Behold the power that ensnared God Himself!' with no breaks in-between. You have 14 party members: Terra the red mage/Esper, Locke the thief, Edgar the King/Engineer, Sabin the monk, Shadow the ninja, Relm the artist, Celes the rune knight, Cyan the samurai, Gau the beast-man, Mog the moogle, Umaru the giant, Go-Go the mime, Setzer the gambler, and Strago the blue mage. Four party members onscreen at a time. The game is considered in Japan to be the best video game of all time. Its soundtrack features 27 awards (compared to the two for ff7), an opera was made in its image, and Kefka is rated the #6 baddest villain of all time (Sephiroth was #9). The reason that Final Fantasy 6 is not as popular today is because it is on a dated system (if you want to play it nowadays, you have to download a ROM or buy an SNES). Final Fantasy 7 and later are still playable on current and next-gen consoles (Nintendo Revolution will bring a comeback to Final Fantasy 4-6). To be honest, the graphics of FF7 on PS1 are pitiful to what they could have been if Square had stayed with Nintendo.

Pornography is just as bad as drugs. It replicates the same chemicals that form in your brain during arrousal and if this effect happens too often, it can affect your brain functions. In essence, you will become addicted to pleasuring yourself. And its very true that most of the pornography out there objectizes women. It portrays them as slaves, tools of pleasure, and not the equals they are to men in real life.

Plasma Pong -- Rock out with Fluid Dynamics
http://www.plasmapong.com/ It has a kicking soundtrack and is generally all-around addictive. You will need a decent graphics card and RAM in order to factor in the fluid calculations.

Okay...I was wrong, but the "bug" still works.
Yes, and the game also says to not fight dragons without a fire breath shield, yet you can. Dragons are not slayer monsters. They follow a different set of rules. Not to mention, you have potions that keep you moderately safe from the fire breath. If you want to be fully immune to fire breath, you still have to wear a fire shield and use the potion. (This strategem doesnt even always work against special monsters like the King Black Dragon). Slayer monsters are different. There is no elemental potion. Like all slayer monsters, these require tactics and strong equipment to keep you safe. So stop comparing them to Dragons...its completely different (reasons being monster differences and the fact that there is no potion for Wyverns).
-
Okay...I was wrong, but the "bug" still works.
I really don't see anti-icebreath potions, and dragons are not slayer monsters. So comparing Dragons to slayer monsters is irrelevant. From the slayer monster table in the runescape manual. Fields are name, slayer level, and equipment required. You were looking under the table of slayer equipment available for sale from Masters, the elemental shield is not a purely slayer monster item.

Okay...I was wrong, but the "bug" still works.
Since the day the Wyverns came to us, a requirement for thier fighting has always been an elemental shield. Its in the manual, the ingame manual, every guide written on the monster, and the slayer masters themselves say to wear a shield. So fighting them without a shield is a bug. A nasty bug. Telling us you were with Oergg does not make us think any more of you. Hiding behind him is pointless, because he was also abusing a bug. The reason Jagex does not note bug fixes in the updates section is because it would be mundane. Every morning, some noob would blast into the TIF forums and shout: "Bugfix 3/07/06: fixed errors in game code for optimum performance. First post!" If you really wanted to watch bugfixes, go to the report a bug section. There is a full list of bugs there with thier status of pending or fixed. So really, Jagex does inform us of bugfixes, you are just too lazy to check for yourself. So if we are morons, what does that make you? Someone who is lazy, arrogant, and thinks they are invincible because "famous" players do it.
-
Okay...I was wrong, but the "bug" still works.
They were intended from the beginning to only be fought with an elemental shield. So sorry, Jagex usually does not list bug fixes in updates.

Best video game of all time!
You do realize that Final Fantasy 7 was going to be on the N64 and a sequal to FF6. And the graphics were much better on the 64, to be honest. I go with Final Fantasy 6. It features the only villain who actually succeeded in destroying the world. Not to mention, the plot elements are amazing. I dont see operas being written about FF7 (yes, there is a japanese opera based off of FF6...its actually pretty good).

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
That case can't be from the US, because the lowest legal age is 17. Personally, I don't understand why people are practically encouraging kids to be having sex. Before you spout off on "they love eachother"...stop. Most kids having sex under the legal age are not mature enough to understand love. Hell, most people my age are not mature enough to understand love. Its just there for the "now" and pleasure. I think birth control should be illegal, so kids will understand the consequences of thier actions. I mean, I know someone is going to think twice about it when they are 14 and end up having to raise a child or go through the awful grief of an abortion. So really, it all boils down to a war of morals, and neither of us can really win, can we?

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
I'll be frank. I am 20. Our sexual education consisted of "Dont have sex" and "Wait until you are married." The age of consent in Texas is 17, most states are 18. The law states that you can not have sex with anyone under this age without parental approval. That includes with other people underage. More info on consent laws can be found here: http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent.htm Nowadays in schools, they state that its perfectly fine to have sex while underage. In fact, here's some free condoms! Don't get pregnant! Forgive my assumption. Your immature reply really left me with no choice but to guess how old you were. The fact is, condoms are treated like cigarettes in every state. The schools somehow have recieved permission to bypass this law. Regardless, you detract from my point. Its illegal for kids to have sex, so why encourage them? Well, its not my fault that people break the law. At least in Ave Maria, they will most likely not be having sex underage. But underage sex is not really the point here, is it?

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
This is a bit immature, but I honestly can't resist it: HAHAHA! What on EARTH made you think there is a legal age for buying condoms! That would be an absolutely preposterous idea! Yeah let's stop teenage pregnancies by stopping them getting hold of condoms. Considering the age of consent in the US is 18, kids under that age should not need them. You are of the spoiled generation of brats who the schools keep telling to use protection instead of just flat-out using abstinence. A much better way of stopping teenage pregnancies would be to not have sex under the legal age. And weezcake, there are tons of Amish communities all over the East coast. Anyone can move in, but you have to be willing to follow Amish laws. If you break the laws, you will be asked to leave the community. All of these cities are law-abiding cities recognized by thier respective states.

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
There have been religious towns in the US for over 200 years.
-
Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
That's up to the individual families living there, not for lawmakers. As stated before, Amish communities still thrive. Thier children are born and raised in that community. Some leave because they dislike it, most stay and continue the traditions. Being a completely religious town, these kids will probably be pretty comforatable living there, considering they know nothing else. (Assuming they are born there.) For visitors, nobody is forcing them to go there. If your car breaks down, so what? I mean, the last thing on my mind when my car breaks down is getting an abortion, buying porn or condoms. Visitors are superficial, and can come and go as they please. As for the children born there, they have thier liberties and rights intact. They can leave when they are 18...which is also the legal age for getting an abortion, having sex, buying porn and condoms...Hey wait, that means that absolutely none of their rights are being violated?! If they come from a family devout enough to move into a Catholic city, chances are good that they will be Catholic.

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
Does Florida have laws condemning or supporting abortion, pornography, or birth control sales? Such laws are left up to the states. Absence of either type of law means that the civil authorities are left to determine this. Last time I checked, there are VERY few states that have a consitutional amendment saying that abortion is legal or illegal. Florida is neither. Its a private, new community. If people do not like the laws, they should not move there. As for being a Roman Catholic community, there is nothing wrong with that, either. Freedom of religion applies. There are already Amish communities all over the US that have these same sorts of laws, and they follow state laws. So really, this is nothing new, and nothing wrong with it. Its all some random person on the complete opposite side of the country trying to start a pro-life vs pro-choice debate.

Catholic Town - 'Ave Maria' - Planned in Florida
Stupid people, sueing over nothing. I mean, if you don't go to this town, don't interact with it in any way...why should you even care? I doubt the man could singlehandedly buy the United States and declare us all Catholics. People who sue for stuff like this really need to get out in a while. I'm not Catholic, I disagree with Catholic doctrines, but I really see nothing wrong with this. It's a private community, they can do whatever the heck they want.

Eh?! Can someone explain this?
No naming of names, good or bad, unless it is a board user :(. Chances are he was rather generous, in a good mood, or desperate to buy.
