It's actually easier than that! You can open up Bootcamp under Utilities and select Windows as your primary OS! You can do the same thing in Windows by clicking on the Bootcamp icon. If you ever want to boot into the secondary OS, you just hold the Option key upon startup or you can toggle the settings in whatever OS you happen to be using. And as Apple has begun further improving its line of graphics cards, more and more titles have begun supporting both operating systems. In addition, there are several virtualization application available for OS X, both free and fee, that allow you to run Windows/Linux within OS X. It's not because of the video cards but because of the processor that Windows works on Apple computers now.

It all depends on what you want and what price you want to pay for it, it's all there is. If you want a Mac, go for a Mac, but if you want another brand, go for Asus or HP.

I don't mind paying a little extra to go to the hardware shop down the road despite its markup of like 20% compared to Sear's or Lowe's. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff and aid me whenever I need help (lately, they attached a 40 year old hammer to a new handle which saved me like $10) . If it works for me, it's worth paying a little extra. Dell sucks, everyone knows it. If you want a good computer with Windows from a manufacturer, get an Asus or an HP.

Only? Compared to some 4 GB players, yes, only 200. My 4GB player cost me $50, I find 200 quite expensive :roll:. Has all of the main features there are in the ipod too.

Weird, I've never heard of problems about faulty Nvidia chips. Maybe you're mistaken laura? I've never had any problems with Nvidia cards either (I repair computers for friends sometimes. I've seen and had numerous problems with Ati card drivers though.

Quite simple, any current Nvidia or Ati card. Intel integrated graphics is the worst kind of graphics card you can have. Ðo you intend on playing other games as well? If yes, what kind of games(examples)? Nothing to replace (except the PSU depending on the card) actually.

You won't be able to play RSHD with it because of the Intel graphics card. And that's a pretty low spected laptop, even for the price, I think (although there are the free upgrades).

The reason is simple, you didn't ask the system to pause, so it continues and stops the program after showing the Hello World. The way I did it when I started programming is as follows. #include #include using namespace std; int main () { cout << "Hello World" << endl; _getch(); return 0; } But On windows you have this too: #include using namespace std; int main () { cout << "Hello World" << endl; system("pause"); return 0; } LOL all that just to tell you it's a simple need to stop the program from closing (return 0 tells the execution is finished, in this case, and that's why the program closes right away if you don't put something before that).

Because AT&T can't handle it. In Aus most of the major Telecom companies have the iPhone, plus they can handle the usage. Oh, and we have MMS and Tethering, MMS is awesome. :) We don't have AT&T around here.

Now that I done some digging, I do know that scientists are saying that an extreme solar storm is supposed to occur some time between 2010 and 2012. They're expecting it to be just one or two notches under the one that occurred in the 50s (crippling damage to electronics, Aurora Borealis seen in Mexico, all sorts of crazy [cabbage] like that happened when this was going on). While we can expect this to hurt a LOT if it's in the same ballpark as the eggheads are estimating it to be, we might get some interesting innovations from this. We didn't have the tech we have now in the 50s, after all. We might get some interesting readings or something when this hits. Before it hits (they will probably tell us on the news) I'll unplug every electronics I have (except maybe the TV), so I can save it all from frying :P. Wonder what I'm going to do while there's no power though XD. Anyway, come to think of it, maybe the war for the arctic oil. Who says it's going to start in 2012 though? :lol:

Give me proof it's legal in Canada. As far as I know, it's illegal in Canada too. For me, I'm ont for it nor against it. It pretty much depends if the company is rich or not. I don't mind people pirating from rich companies, aka movies or xbox games etc. Personnally, I don't download illegal stuff, I don't see the need to, since I have enough already around me. I do share files with friends though, using my external hard drive or USB key.

By e-net cable you mean Ethernet cable?
