That's exaclty what I'm going to do, been running it all day today without any problems at all.

Not really having issues, but it looks like they're small things like the wireless light and things like that, since the wireless light and switch doesn't work, yet the wireless card works. Unfortunatly, the only drivers that they made for that laptop are Vista 32bit (yet Windows 7 64bit works better and faster).

The Windows 7 you find in stores is much faster than Beta and release candidate ever were on my laptop :D.

External hard drives are relatively cheap nowadays, I think you could find an external hard drive of 500GB for not to much.

Hi, This is not a matter of life and death, it's something I can live with, but I just installed Windows 7 x64 on my laptop (Asus F7Se with RAM upgraded to 4GB), yet there are still some devices that seem to be unknown and called Base System Device in the device manager. I tried to update them using the device manager, but no updates are found and they keep their /!\. Appart from that, it's even faster than it was in the beta and release candidate and I do not regret buying it.

Then maybe it's the cache that didn't sync well. I suggest deleting it and completely reloading RS. The cache is located in the following folder: On XP: C:\WINDOWS\.jagex_cache_32 (or something similar) On Vista: C:\.jagex_cache_32 On W7: I haven't installed Windows 7 on my laptop yet.

The video card claims an address from the operating system before your DIMMS, which are, as far as the OS is concerned, the least important thing to need an address. The OS, providing it is 32-bit, is incapable of filling addresses past 4GB. I guess you would be correct that what isn't used for the DIMMS is given to the GPU/IGP, but it would the same for a system with 1GB or a 1MB or RAM. Your statement makes it appear as though one will receive a bonus for surpassing 4GB on a 32-bit OS, which doesn't occur; the rest is not routed to your GPU/IGP. It may be possible that your system has an IGP that can occupy ~256MB, but it cannot receive an address from the operating system after all of them are filled. That is my understanding, someone correct me if I am wrong. 3.25GB usually.

Still, the usual flu is much worse than the swine flu. My bother had it, was same as normal flu except it lasted only 3 days instead the week it usually lasts, only the symptoms were only slightly stronger.

Never ever do a low level formatting except if you're having a lot of trouble with your hard drive. I normal format is enough to install it, and when you install windows 7 it will ask to format, which will be enough.

I don't think the problem is hardware related, while adding another stick of RAM would greatly help. What happens is probably something got corrupted somewhere in internet explorer, but continuing to use scripts wouldn't really change much of the way it runs, depending on the script, really is just of a hassle to have to click that box often. Swiftkit uses IE as a browser too, so that's why you get the same message when using both programs. Best is to use either Firefox or Opera, you won't get that error. I also recommend not using sk.

Max is 4GB apparently, but I got that info from a third party website, since I couldn't find it on the Asus Website (since I don't know what region you guys are from). I would still go for this one, Asus is very reliable and is extreme quality!

I just went and bought the retail version of Professionnal ($372 CAD, that hurts the wallet). I have yet to install it, but having used the Beta and Release Candidate, I will have far less troubles with my Ati card than I have on Vista (which gave me a blue screen in the middle of the vb.net class) plus will use all 4GB of RAM I have in the laptop. The desktop will remain on Vista until its death. It works very well (much better than xp ever did on it, and I'm not putting money on it since it's already starting to die).

Does Shamwow really work or the commercial is a fake?

Any program that works the same way Limewire does for sharing files, ares being one of them, people will put a lot of bad files in there. Here's the rating people give to the ares site: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/www.ares.net utorrent is the way to go, it's hard for people to put viruses and have seeders.

Looks to me like Firefox 3.5.* still has some bugs, which I find weird because of what they usually do to not have bugs. Anyway, still on Firefox 3 here and never had any of those problems. I could recommend downgrading to that version of Firefox until the problem is found.

A screenshot or full copy of the messagebox would be very helpful for us to know exactly what your problem is.

CSS's can't add new lines (text, links, images, etc) to the page, can it? I thought it could only modify (color, size, etc) what was already there. *edit* Not even the <?php echo "Text"; ?> is working, do I have to download a PHP plugin? I didn't see you wanted to do that, sorry, didn't quite read what was in the code quotes.

Why not simply use an external css file instead? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding something here.
