Have you tried unplugging and removing the battery? Somehow it fixed a problem on one of my friend's laptop, same model, same problem.

That means you have hit detection lag. I have to shoot 20 bullets to get 3 hitmarkers with any machine gun. Yesterday I decided to go ahead and remove the map packs, and somehow most of the hit detection lag is gone. I knew this would work since it did when I lived on a slow internet connection on MW2 I would have lag with the map packs but not without them. Except now I'm on the best connection available and on Black Ops. This hit detection issue only happens on Treyarch games. I think I was the host on one of the games I played yesterday since I got 2 kills on my screen, but they only appeared in the killfeed 5 seconds later. Or maybe I wasn't host but he was someone where I didn't have that much lag. Do they actually effect it? I store mine on a flash drive so that it only needs to be in use whenever I'm using a map pack map. Actually, looks like I was writing that too fast yesterday. Today the lag was so bad that it caused me to play MW2 all night instead of Black Ops.

Canada's economy closely follows the US economy. Prices are much higher in Canada though for some of the things.

Well, being 15th prestige, I will quit Black Ops as soon as I reach level 50. BO has been [cabbage] lately, and I can't seem to be able to find a lobby where it doesn't lag, and "Locale only" only makes it worse.

It's all good, I've seen that there are riots, but I haven't seen why. Anyone care to tell me?

For demolition, I prefer playing the objective and getting more xp overall and challenges rather than for kills and getting more xp per games. As for me, I got 15th prestige today, with only 14 days played, I think I did pretty good.

Maybe you were just unlucky, I've been using LG drives for years.

Pretty boring to drive, I guess it'd be ok as a run about. Well, I've had it for 3 years as well. And you can do a lot of stuff with this car, well, mine has a manual transimission and it's probably the reason, since they seem to have a hell of a lot more strenght than automatic. Very easy to spin and do a lot of stuff with them, so it's a fun little car to drive. I do know that it isn't that strong of a car, but it cost almost nothing, such as $40/month when I had a job for gas and such. I did drive stronger cars though such as my brother's Mazda speed 6, and they don't compare, but I like my car. Anyway, even if it almost never breaks I'll probably be replacing my Echo with a Mitsubishi Lancer GT in a year or two.

Canada comments are true, although I'm probably in the only province where we can have internet without a cap. Bell-Aliant I have 25 Mb/s with them without a limit. I used to have Rogers at 10Mb/s with a 95GB cap.

A browser or the other is purely preference. Firefox and Chrome are both equal, although they have different strenghts and weaknesses.

Limits this low still exist?

mATX boards are getting pretty performant too, I have a mATX board (Asus p7p55-m) has almost all the features of a full ATX board, minus some buses. Although it wouldn't apply to this topic since it is an Intel board that works with i3, i5 or the old i7 and would probably cost more than a phenom build.

Lol I payd $2000 for a 2002 echo. Never regretted it either, even if it has 2 accidents and 300k KM it never broke down.

A custom built desktop might last even longer than a store bought computer since you know the parts are of quality, unlike, for example, Dell, which uses quite cheap parts for their computers. Btw Dell isn't a good brand anymore and hasn't been for a few years. I currently don't have the time to list one with one of the 2 brands mentioned for motherboards, but I can post one if someone else doesn't. The only maintenance it needs is the same as a prebuilt computer - removing the dust periodically. You could probably speed up your current computer by removing the dust as from that picture it seems quite extreme and I'm surprise it's not overheating or turning off because of it.

Wouldn't surprise me though as it happened to me on my old computer when one of the sticks went bad.
