  1. Yea, about this. Hint: Do Living Rock tasks, and Fire Giants @ waterfall, cannon them both for amazingly fast xp. Is there a reason you prefer waterfall over ct?
  2. If he enjoys barbarian assault, there's nothing wrong with it. To me, if he enjoyed it, he'd already have it. So just use rune plate instead of going getting the torso. You're actually saying it's better, so you're defeating your own point as well. I'm going to leave with this final point: If you enjoy barbarian assault/you have the torso, feel free to get it, but it won't help really, so if you don't want to, don't get it. Now that being said, feel free to flame me again since that's all you seem to do in your posts.
  3. cool, nice cape Good job posting soley to flame. The fact of the matter is, in the hours it takes you to get the torso, you can get a nice amount of xp, and in his case, aquire barrows for better training. If he already has it, then sure, yeah use it. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
  4. From everyone who answers the fighter torso questions in the past months. And oh really? I see everyone using it if they aren't using bandos.
  5. Edited for accuracy. The torso is really bad. Get a barrows chest, they really aren't that expensive. I'd get barrows legs too. They're pretty cheap but effective. barrows for combat training? l2p nerd Yes barrows for combat training, and I'm sorry I have no idea what l2p is, but nice try on the flame. I did realize that his defense was only 68, but it's still better to stick with rune plate for those 2 levels rather than going to get the torso, which isn't worth it.

  7. What would I expect then?
  8. I usually missed a round as well, since when you're autocasting, when you switch spells, it'll shoot off one last spell of the previous one before it actually switches. I still took her down relatively easy though.
  9. #-o wow I feel like an idiot! I totally spaced that off. I'll take the advice and switch up to Sumona. What do you mean you spaced? Its wong... It's 5.333 across hp attack str and def, 1.333 for hp and 4 for the other stats depending on how you train them. I thought it was 4 xp per damage, unless training controlled, then it splits the 4 xp between atk, str, and def? It is 4xp over attack, strength and defense even if you train controlled, but he included hp in his original post as a melee skill. Ah, I catch what you're saying now, I got confused for a second lol. Regardless, would I expect about 20k xp/hr with my stats?

  11. Really? Well that'll get the diaries done sooner, but I still want 83 summoning lol.
  12. Alright, Thanks aspeeder, exactly what I wanted to hear. Would I be right in assuming (from the above poster with the rates) that I'd get about 20k slay xp per hour?
  13. Alright, I'll go try Lapalok or whatever the new guys name is. Any idea how high my slayer will be when I get enough charms for 83 summon?
  14. How would I fare with Duradel at my stats? Also, if I kept slaying, any ideas of what my slayer level would be by time i get enough for 83 summoning? I'm standing at around 100 greens, 150 golds, 20-30 blues, and 30 crims.

  16. I decided I wanted 83 summoning, and since I need 72 slayer for the diaries, I started slaying until I get 72 slayer. Any ideas of what my melee stats will be when I get it? I prefer to melee every opportunity. Also, after I get 72 slayer, I highly doubt I'll have enough to get to 83, so should I just continue to slay or go dusty killing? In other words, how much longer will it take to get the charms required if I slay vs. killing dusties? EDIT: I'm using Chaeldar if that helps...should I switch or keep using her?
  17. I used mystic top and bottom, barrows gloves, dragon boots, helm of neitiznot and I only used about 6 sharks during the mother battle (prayer switching of course).
  18. If you can't handle it, then don't. You need to be able to resist playing rune when more important things come up (like school), and college isn't like high school, you have to do things outside of class. It's really your decision if you have the ability to not play it when you just can't do it.
  19. I know this may seem a little farfetched, but why don't you try looking it up for yourself? It's a matter of a few clicks at the ge. Find out how much a potion makes to make the ingredients, and find out how much the potion itself sells for. No matter what, you're going to be looking at a decent size loss if you're buying everything. If not, go collect seconds yourself, and take those calculations out of the original estimate.
  20. I took "blood" spells as the waves that use bloods. I spaced off the possibility of ancients. If you're using ancients, yes, get off! Use your standard spellbook.
  21. Try not using Veracs. I wore mystic, helm of neitiznot, dragon boots, and barrows gloves. I brought the same spells and bow as you. I brought a War Tortoise filled with sharks and had a pray pots and sharks in my inventory. I used like 6 sharks during the battle. Just learn when to prayer switch. Initially go in with the Balmung (and protect melee) and hit her, then back off so she won't use melee. Then put on protect from whatever she's currently using and attack her respectively. When she switches to the other attack, switch your prayer. Just takes some decent timing.
  22. It's up to you whether it's worth it or not. Is it hard for you to get that money back? I got my book back when it was like 200k for the whole thing, and I really only use it when ranging or if I need the mage bonus.

Go around to all the beacons and put the logs in there first, then go around lighting them. Probably bring a terrorbird for the run.

Not unless it's poisoned by a smoke spell. I think smoke's the one that poisons...

I maged the mithril dragon (I think killing a mith drag is an actual task). Kill Confused Barbarians, they drop mangled bones 100%. I bought the individual pieces, took a day, but I got them (skeletal). Make the highest bows you can and string them, or just string the bows as that's faster (IIRC). For Wc, cut willows until you can cut Ivy, then cut Ivy.
