why does everyone always seem to forget the wilderness is meant to be dangerous, and that having a group in multi is a perfectly reasonable tactic?

they have done rollbacks before and they can tell when a server crashes, so they could easily have done it >_<

its safe to assume that, regardless of f2p/p2p, a large number of those who can try it, will. a game thats been in development for years and is meant to have graphics better than runescape, is going to hold some players. some however might not like the style, the feel of the game etc...and go right back. however, it is easy to say that some people will play both. probably on seperate accounts and multi log to train both at once (probably i will aswell) there are also going to be people who dont play it at all, maybe they dont want to be distracted from runescape goals, or their computer wont support it. i think it is highly likely that there is going to be a beta for members first, like they did for rs hd (the last major update tbh) to find bugs, glitches,etc, and then release it to f2p later (possibly) if alot of people change over, prices in runescape will destabilise. less people at godwars producing hilts, less people skilling for raw materials. HOWEVER. if mechscape doesnt have a good skilling system like runescape, but a great combat, there will be an overflow of raw material because pkers/pvpers/monster-hunters switch over but skillers dont. prices drop, skillers start to make less and less money. or vise-versa, it has great skilling but crappy combat, and raw materials go up (same reason) however, that is assumnig Mechscape is a success (at least partially) there is also a chance that mechscape fails, noone leaves RS, and everything stays the same (unlikely, really)

whatever it is, i hope it allows for the individual skill of the player (reflexes, adaptive thinking, coordination) to have some sort of significant impact in a fight, rather than click, wait, switch weapons

i dont want to sound mean, but is this guide really necessary? really, saying "kill moss giants, go here. bring this" is all youve done. and also a coupleof range safespots. which in themselves are not hard to find. all youve done is thrown together some basic information and calculations and a drop table. in all honesty, this is to simple for a guide. if you say, added many more monsters and just chnged to to be a guide on training melee and range effectively with little cost, then that would be fine. however, this guide is really, really pointless. theres better places to train where you need less quests, lower non combats, that give more exp and cash....and ones that cost money and give MUCH more exp.. however, the set out of the guide is good, and its easy to find what you need....

or if jagex knows a server has/is/going to crash, just bless every grave. just ANYTHING to stop this from happening to other people (possibly for alot more than me)

i was at saradomin godwars (no uncommon for me) and everything was going fine. we had a ss split, we were close to 100 kills, and we had close to 1.5m loot each. we were all in good gear (barrows or bandos, furys, godsword, one had claws) at one point, one of our team died. i thought "he must have lagged or something. no biggie" so naturally i got off zil to run/pot pray/bless his grave. or i tried to. to my horror,nothing happened. the ENTIRE [bleep]ING SERVER CRASHED. everyone on the team got disconected and died. no chance to bless grave and we all lost upwards of 5-10 mil. all because jagex [bleep]ing up and crashing a server i NEVER die at godwars without other influences (lag, dc) and when i do, my grave is blessed before i time out and all is fine i lost fury, v-helm, 1.5m loot, dragon boots, zerk ring, herblore cape, unicorns+scrolls(3k of them), pots, loot etc. just because jagex accidently killed the server if a person dc's, the gravestone should automatically be blessed to an hour. regardless of circumstances. i am royaly PISSED OFF at jagex's screw up

its not so bad when they say like "you know, itd be faster exp cutting willows, if thats what you're here for" or "you realise a rune scim would provide faster kills? maybe you should use that?" but telling me to do something, is annoying as [bleep]
