  1. Anyone get the Pitt? Took me the few hours after getting it after school, but it was actually pretty fun! I wouldn't say its worth ten dollars because of some bugs, but the weapons and the city is pretty extensive for my standards. But then again, I set my standards to low until Broken Steel. (Plus the mod I'm making) Looks like they pulled it from the LIVE store, so it won't be up for the 360 users for some time.
  2. It's an amazingly fun game. Was playing Team Fortress 2 today and people were saying that it sucked. I guess you just have to get used to the pace, which I know a lot of the TF2 wierdos can't. But yeah, I find it good fun. I kinda have to agree with Nadril, though, it would be rediculous for a console. I believe it's built for a mouse and WASD movement, the good ole fashion way. 4th edit: Fixed numerous spelling errors. Damn iPod touch.
  3. DO NOT SPEND $6,000 ON A COMPUTER. You can get a top of the line one with the highest graphics card, and best processor for around $1,500. I'd spend no more then $2,500 for a top of the line computer. Try any well known brand, but do not get an apple. Please, tell me your reasoning for not buying an Apple. Guess what I'm using right now? An apple computer. Oh, and running Windows XP on a partition and Linux off of a memory stick, plus the original Mac OSX. Honestly, people that constantly say that the Mac's aren;t good computers--or at least say it in a way that shows they don't like Macs--is dumb. Seriously. Whats your reasoning behind it besides price? Anyway...I myself like the Alienware Area-51 M17x, its the only Alienware laptop that I would spend lots on and would last me a long time. The rest o them to me are junk. The only reason I like the M17x is because I have 1.5 terrabytes of space and dual NVIDIA 9800 Graphics, plus an Intel Core Duo Extreme processor. But then again, this is a gaming laptop. If its a desktop you are looking for, then I'd suggest listening to the people on this thread, or get a Mac.
  4. Torture? They're the ones not getting The Pitt!   Precisely.
  5. This game makes me feel like crap whenever I do a bad thing...Its kinda cool how it can do that. It's hillarious doing a bad thing! Pickpocketing a merchant and then putting a mine in his pocket gets me free stuff and laughs. Unfortunately, I don't count that as a bad thing. I killed a merchant for a flamer once. That was awesome. Blowing up Megaton to me was bad. Killing some innocent people=bad to me, and by innocent I mean those who don't have weapons to deal with. I dunno, its just the way you are I suppose.

  7. You could do what Riku said above; but the main quest way requires you to find dad first, then a little later on you'll get the perk at the citadel (Brotherhood of Steel stronghold). You, my friend, have long ways to go either way; Anchorage has higher level enemies no matter what difficulty and will prove difficult for a lower level, and getting to the Brotherhood of Steel stronghold is ways to go. Anchorage was DLC you need to get with Microsoft points right? And are there any spoilers in it? I play a lot of games for the storyline. Anshorage has its own storyline. If you want it, I can give you the bsa files. This applies to anyone.
  8. [hide=]What sworddude said. You could do that, or just go to the surface of the citadel and talk to paladin Gunny, whom I think is wearing recon armor and is male. He's right near the entrance, training the citadel trainees. Also, getting Power armor is easy--walk around the citadel and go to the lab and look for power armor laying on a table, which you can take for free (Also some plasma weapons if you look near the shop in the lab). Speaking of the shop, you can buy a helmet there. Either that, or you an go to GNR and scavenge from the dead bodies of the Brotherhood members that probably died when you fought the behemoth.[/hide]

  10. Yes, even my friends computer, a beast of a machine with a terrabyte of space and extremely high system specs suffers some lag and a lot of crashes. As for me, it's been lagging using some retexture mods, and when I say lag, I mean evey five seconds. But it was like that with Obligion too, eventually the patches will repair this game to stop these unecessary flaws.
  11. Well, uh, yeah...Um...Can't explain why you don't continue unless I spoil it, so if you really want to know, I'll hide it for you. [hide=Ending Spoiler]The reason why you can't continue: You die saving project purity, or poisoning it with John Henry Eden's FEV, or you let the facility explode. So no matter what, you die.[/hide] So save before going with Liberty Prime, and when you beat the game, revert to that save. Voila. Broken Steel will just alter the ending with a twist so you can complete the game and continue after the main quest. At the moment, all you can do is revert to an older save.
  12. Its not said. You scale some mountains, climb some oil pipelines, enter their facilities, then the simulation transports you to your base, where another humongous pipe is, you command a team through another facility and on some land, beat up commies, eventually get to an oil refinery facility, then win and exit. Speaking of commies, were the hell was Liberty Prime? Whenever I remember Anchorage, I remember that! But yeah, I guess its fun the first time through. Or last, considering you can't go through again without starting a new profile or reverting back to an older save.
  13. Like I've said before, its O.K., it takes only a couple of hours to complete, has decent rewards, but it isn't worth the $10, thats why I just gave my friends the bsa archives to put in their data folders so they could see for themselves. I love the Chinese Stealth suit, though, and the T-51 B armor isn't bad, but the Gauss Rifle is easily the best reward. Also, it is just a simulation, not based off of the real fight--it was used to train military users for Anchorage. So it probably isn't even near the large military conflict you're hoping for. :/ In fact, the largest conflict you get into in Anchorage would be fighting the General and defeating him... Its too bad too. Now, I have to wait for the Pitt, which I hope comes out near my birthday, the 7th of March. I'm pretty sure that will be fun.
  14. You know which posters I hate the most? Hipocrits. Especially you. Your RS highscores show that your mining skill doesn't even come close to know what the he'll your talking about, so how about YOU take a hint and listen to yourself, huh? Idiots don't belong here...Now, go back to RSOF, use your illogical arguments there. But okay, I'll humor you for a bit. So yeah, mining does get one ore per rock. Rune essence mining exempt. Now, if it weren't one ore per rock, they wouldn't be worth as much as they are now because it would be easier to get, and then people like you would then be complaining that "I I'd mad cuz I get multple ore but no money!11omgwtfbbq I'm going to yell at people more intelligent than me11!" No, no, no; you are in a river of phail and are sinking in your phailboat, slowly but surely. I can't help but lol. Same goes for your everlasting statement that WCers have an advantage. Again, no EFFING way. If you want to make any profit at all, then you must cut down better trees, more specifically yew trees or above. Oh, and if you think that any log below that will make you any cash within a days work, show me. Point is, yew trees can make you a crap load in a day...anyway. You have to fight others for yews, as almost every single person and their mothers think exactly like you and think that.", because they get multiple logs, that they'll make more. Haha, no. Fishing is different. It takes forever to get fish at a decent rate; however, it does get easier as your level goes up. Nevertheless, it still takes a while, just like mining is, and each skill requires the same amount of attention. No matter how you look at it, each is difficult in some way, shape, or form. Now, to your latest post. Only thing I have to say: stop acting like YOUR opinion is the all important one. We aren't saying ours is, but like every other no brain super RSOFer you block everyone else then accuse US of blocking out your opinion. Please do us a favor, learn how to argue well and maybe I'll hear you out. Till then...Well, to pit it bluntly...GTFO!!!
  15. Beat it, twice. The fun doesn't last forever, and it isn't worth the money, but the weapons and earnings you recieve pretty much fill that void. Gauss rifle ftw
  16. Ha. You can almost use that argument for anything. Observe. WCing is boring like hell. REASON:you sit there and fight others for logs, thereby only getting a couple of logs. FULL STOP. PERIOD. Fishing is boring like hell. REASON:you have to wait FOREVER to get fish!!! FULL STOP. PERIOD. Cooking is boring like hell. REASON:you take your raw meat and cook it, with a somewhat large percentage of burning it. FULL STOP. PERIOD. Smithing is boring like hell. REASON:you have to wait for your character to create the bars and armor, and when you do...FULL STOP. PERIOD. Thieving is boring like hell. REASON:only one item per pickpocket, and you might get caught! FULL STOP. PERIOD. Prayer is boring like hell. REASON:only one set of bones are buried per one click. FULL ST--Oh wait, in this case EMPTY STOP, REFILL. PERIOD. Kinda a dumb argument. The point is that you have to work, no matter what skill you do, and each one will become tedious and boring. It's just up to the player to overcome the boredom and try to outlast it. Fishing Wcing aren't easy, in terms of money making. Fishing takes forever to catch one fish [at times], and Wcing is always competition unless you are at the level at Magic Logs, which is barely competition. What? You sold your gold, then bought tin and copper and made money. In your case, Smithing was profitable because you gathered the materials yourself, you didn't spend any money... #-o I love to mine. It always relaxes me, and I meet a lot of new people when I'm mining, have nice conversations...Its very interesting to say the least. :D
  17. Do more damage and watch your enemies explode. Yeah. Cool, it was the first perk I chose, but it's not worth it unless you like to see your enemies explode. Sworddude--If you like the ending, simply don't get the DLC. Besides, I bet they'll find a way to make it cool. Again, I agree, I loved the ending, but I would like an ending that will allow continuation as well. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see, right?
  18. He means Bethesda's games never end abruptly probably. He's right, too. It's being patched in the Broken Steel DLC. I, for one, actually liked the ending myself, but would still like to go on after the main quest like Oblivion. Besides, this is a Sandbox RPG, it shouldn't end abruptly in my opinion...Then again, would FF& be considered Sandbox, or any of the games that have a world map?
  19. Pitt is coming out to early March. No, its no longer coming out this month. Bethesda decided to push both the Pitt and Broken Steel back a month. Now the Pitt isn't coming out 'till early March. :( By the way, evil_mumm_ra, I lied. (Really a simple mistake, but nevertheless) The covert ops skill only increases +3 to Science, Small Guns and Lockpick. Sorry 'bout that. The original Covert Ops skill was supposed to increase each skill by one...Again, sorry. Now I can say it's no big deal. :-#
  20. Well, as for a response to your hide... [hide=Response]Yes, it was supposed to happen. If you left the armory for a second to listen to the Argument between the Defender and Mcgraw you'd understand. :P The defender doesn't want to share the technology with you, so he creates an uprising. Thats the gist of it. ;)[/hide] Also, if you find all 10 intel, you get the Covert Ops perk, which increases each skill by 1. Nothing special.
  21. Battletoads. 'Nuff Said.
  22. [hide=Whatever...Exclusives List PS# VS 360] ^ Owned in cold blood right there : ^ [/hide] Quality>Quantity, remember that. While some things look promising on that list, others either look stupid or have come out with mediocre reviews. The White Knight Chronicles sets a fine example. And one that looks extremely stupid is Eyepet. FFS. Exclusives don't always mean they will automatically be great, and this applies to both the 360 and the PS3, the Wii and the PC. So I assume we'll just have to wait rather than compare future lists which may just be wiped out with only a couple of good games.
  23. No, you say something along the lines of "Thats enough General. It's over. Just surrender." Then he ills himself because their honor clouds their minds, and to them it's disgraceful...I suppose. I thought that was cheap, so I decided to kill him. Took me 17 frag mines, 17 frag grenades, 200 10mm bullets, 6 sniper bullets and 2 gauss rifle bullets, and I'm at level 23....Jesus, too much health, but getting the Gauss rifle and the Chinese stealth armor was worth it. Again, it was too short, only worth about 400 Microsoft points imo. So say $5. The Pitt will be fun I hope. But Broken Steel will be better. As for Riku, ya, Gauss rifle is amazing...Also, I don't even use power armor anymore because of the chinese stealth suit. And lastly, to those who are wondering how I broke the level 20 cap, it's a mod. I can go to level 100.
  24. Whew! After a second go at the Operation: Anchorage DLC, I'm all tired out...I have to say, way too short for a DLC, however strangely rewarding. The Chinese Stealth armor is officially my favorite armor, because of the stealth and even the bug in it--you can limitlessly equipt helmets! Lol. Seriously, you can equip five helms at once, 10 helms, whatever! But the DR doesn't add up...But the helms bonuses do, so the first helm you equip gives the DR, the others whatever effects it has. It's wicked awesome haha. And, it's been confirmed on the Fallout Wiki, so I'm not crazy... The Gauss rifle is amazing as well. Easy to find ammo and immense power. Nothing more I could ask for. Anyone else complete/have the DLC?
  25. Yep thats exactly what im doing. QFK:74-75-363-57611659 Ha! Thats Epic. Good thing I always read threads though, unless it involves EatRuneAr--Erm, *cough cough* the Accursed one. :-# I do like how it's trying to lure people though. Almost had me when I read the title though. ALMOST. Hats off to you my friend.
