  1. I would have beaten the main storyline within 3 days, but since my family and a couple of my friends and I went up to North Conway to my vacation home to ski, I didn't have a computer. So I had to wait 'till today to beat it, more specifically ten minutes or so ago. It was game since Awesome. [hide=My Ending & DLC Hype To Prevent Spoilers of Any Kind]I enjoyed the main quest. My Karma was at Very Good and I was ranked a paladin. But the death ending...Was very sad for me. I haven't felt this sad in a video game since...You know what? Never. This was honestly the first game that was morally difficult and very sad. My ending was talking about my guy coming out of the vault, triumphing the wastes, following my dads example with sacrifice, and even showed the Enclave blowing up (I successfully convinced John Henry Eden to blow the Enclave facility up). It even showed me with dogmeat, but...Yeah...I never met dogmeat. I wish I had though...Oh, then it showed the lone wonderer's dad and himself (or me, whatever) in the picture. I just hated how the game ended there. Instead of the brotherhood opening up the radiated control room to save you, they just watch you die...Then the game ends. No continuing. Meh. Thats just a small thing that won't affect me I assume. The DLC is going to fix that completely, and come my birth month, the Broken Steel DLC will arrive, and it will allow continuing after the main quest. \ I'm also pretty much exited about the Pitt and Operation: Anchorage. That simulation will be fun.[/hide] Yup. Just have to wait a little longer for the Operation: Anchorage DLC, and then the Pitt, and finally Broken Steel, which according to developers of Fallout 3 Broken Steel will change the ending, apparently allowing continuing after the game, and allow the Lone Wanderer to live. All in all, great game. Never had an experience like it, ever. This will always hold a special place in my game collection. I guess a little on topic above me, anyone think it's a good idea for me to blow up Megaton? I'm sick of Moira and her book, but I know she survives. :x But I need some Caps in order to make repairs to my T-51 b Power armor (which I got from the You Gotta Shoot 'em in the Head Quest)...I also need to repair much of my equipment. But I don't want to lose -1000 karma either. Any suggestions?

I have the PSP 3000, got it for Christmas. To be honest, the reviews that say the scan lines that occasionally appear on the screen...Aren't so much if a hindrance at all. If I focus a whole lot, I will see the scan lines, otherwise I will not see them if focusing on a cut scene, etc. The screen is way more vibrant, it's brighter, and the new finish on it doesn't leave fingerprints. Unfortunately, dark_alex (PSP Hacker) cannot find a way to hack the PSP 3000, nor can he figure out how to hack the current model for the PSP 2000. This is why I kept my older PSP despite having dead pixels, and in turn, all of the current PSP's that are sold right now are unhackable, so go to Gamestop and buy an older model that is hackable, that is, if you want homebrew. The PSP has great emulators, including the Daedulus X 64 project, which should be running Nintendo 64 Games/ROMs in no time at all \...There are Gameboy Emulators, Advanced emulators, and the infamous Pops Loader that allows you to play PS1 games. It works damned well. So hacking allows the full functionality of your PSP...Including allowing to rip the ISO's off of your UMD and save them onto your Memory Stick...I guess it's useful and not illegal, provided you keep your UMD while you have the ripped version. Yeah...I had the most fun on my PSP, thats why I preferred that over my DS and sold it...In reality, though, I'm going to end up getting the DSi, though.

I call this post an example of Karma... You were winning the bid, and started dancing at the last minute, and Karma thinks to herself, "Huh, he's dancing, instead of being vigilant about the bid. n00b haxx0r $h@ll pay lol!1" And so to be a [bleep] she decides to get someone else to snipe you, saying "lol pwnt!" Curse you Karma!!! Nevertheless, just go to Gamestop or where ever and buy used games there, or go the whole nine yards and pay the entire $30...That, or next time be more vigilant.
  4. It won't. Devs said the Wii couldn't even handle the main menu :P Unless I'm just making a mistake, wikipedia says otherwise. Also places like IGN and stuff. It will be fine. Besides, where are your sources for what the devs say? :P Anyway, I came back because I thought of another game to get (I got a PSP-3000 today, and it came with the voucher for the game) and I recommend it: Echochrome. I don't think it's a UMD or anything, as I got it from the wireless store...But it's amazing. And it's on the PlayStation Network.
  5. I'm aware of that... DVD's were created in 1993, but released in the States, etc. in 1997. 11 Years old. Blue Ray first saw itself in 2003, so five years old. Nevertheless, it's still not brand spankin' new like you put it out to be... I was aware of the fact that you were talking about the disks, but how can you run a [bleep]ing blue ray disk without a console/blue ray player? You can't, you need a console/blue ray player. Albeit, they cost around $600-$1000, a ridiculously over-priced juggernaut of uselessness at the moment. At that cost, people aren't going to buy it unless they really want to...Uh hold more memory and [probably] see it in higher res. So, in turn, why the hell would companies jump over and make blue ray disks? They wouldn't. That would be a complete [bleep] slap to people who are under in the economy right now and can't afford a $1000 blue ray player. Thats what I was saying; blue ray is newer than DVD's, sure, but it's ridiculously overpriced and the companies aren't going to force us to buy blue ray to which their movies, watch in the past years up to 2/3 or 3/4 of them are terrible. Nevertheless I'm going to go play Fallout 3. Just got it today :) Happy Holidays to you and everyone else, be seeing you.
  6. And fun. I've been trying to find FF7:CC for agesssssssssss! Hopefully I can find it in the holidays. Like these two said, Crisis Core was amazing. Like others also said, God of War was also immensely awesome. Let's see...Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions was cool, MoHH2 was great... I'm currently playing Dissidia: Final Fantasy, which I imported and am playing on my PSP. As a reat for yourself, if you already haven't, I'd hack it so you can expand your horizons. But yeah, the games I mentioned are pretty much...Good.
  7. HOW CAN YOU HATE BLU RAY?!?! BLASPHEMY it's catching on faster than dvd did since since the vhs to dvd move, i wouldn't call it developmentally delayed  Whitch explains why only about 3% of movies are put on BluRay. Because it is new their not going to make all DVDs out there into blueray....duh Blueray is hardly new. It's been out as long as the PS3 has been out. Companies aren't switching over because that would be the dumbest move market wise, because people aren't willing to shell out $600-$1000 for a blueray player, or $400-$600 for a PS3. So don't throw the crap that it's "New"; if they wanted to, every company could have jumped over to the blueray market; they didn't. Last time I was on this thread was forever ago, I've changed my outlook on all of the systems; I mostly enjoy all three of them, but still have yet to see PS3 games that appeal to me (Besides Resistance, MGS4...I hated LittleBigPlanet)...However, out of all of the systems that I have enjoy now, I realized the console just cannot stand up to the immense power of a PC/Mac whatever. I like PC because it has some multi platform games (i.e. Oblivion, Fallout 3) that I ca get without purchasing another console. BTW, did anyone here about the Wii 2 HD coming out in 2011? I'm kinda curious, wanna know a little more about the rumor...But I'm sure that you've all got Christmas things to settle in. Merry Christmas, happy holidays everyone! \
  8. Nice survey, I hope it helps you with your thesis! I enjoyed answering the questions to the best of my ability (At one point in the survey, I answered nearly all "Nevers" so it looks like I wasn't even trying, I apologize). Happy Christmahanukwanzaka--Happy New Year! :
  9. No, we know it's true. Summon him and use one of the options when talking to him (Not sure which dialogue) but he says he's staying until Christmas, in which he will leave. JaGex would never let F2P have any Pets, no matter what. I love the ice imps. The quest was enjoyable, and having the imp following me around makes it even cooler. Makes me feel like I'm P2P again.
  10. Wait, so if you're attacking him, then he uses magic then you must have attacked him while being hunted! See, you can't use spells while being hunted, therefore you were attacking him while being the hunted. Don't even try to kill the hunter unless your a good 80+ levels higher than him/her, as the hunted, your stats are significantly reduced! Besides, the whole idea is to avoid your opponent. All in all, I'll just say this: Don't like the game? Don't play it. This. Right, as your quote claims, you were trying to kill him while being hunted. As the hunted, you're supposed to avoid being hit. FoG is a great game...I've beaten many, many, many high levels and have been beaten by many, many, many lower levels. But not often. I'm a strategist, so I hide and get to the center and tele a lot. :P
  11. I agree with you. The prices should've never risen that high... But can someone explain to me when these prices rose above the 1 mil mark? I completed two books but a year ago (Now almost two years as the New Year approaches) and the Guthix book was about 100k to complete, the Zamorak book was about 100k-200k per page (so about 300k-600k)...I'm not sure if I completed the Saradomin book, I'll go check...Nope, I only have the incomplete book. But anyway, when did they rise so high? All I can say is I'm glad that I completed the books before the rise (although a bit disgruntled because if I saved the pages I might have made a few mill  ), and maybe I should invest to complete a Saradomin book.
  12. You either have absolutely no self control and were to lazy to actually jump to a different world, or...Wait, no, there is no other...Right. WHY DIDN'T YOU WORLD JUMP??? For christs sake, you insulted him and barraged him with every insult you could think of...In order to gain what? An eventual ban? If you had any maturity, you would have world hopped OR turned public chat off rather than stooping to his level and insult him with thousands of names. Why do you even need to insult? Why? This game...NO game was built around insults. And to answer your question, people who play RuneScape are either a) Extremely intelligent, or B) idiots who hang out of RSOF. Which is the latter? And he wimped out? Seems like he took a more mature path and decided not to call you a noob anymore, rather than continue and getting you both banned... Verbal fights should never occur, and in any case, he didn't start the verbal fight--YOU did. If you honestly think that him saying "Noob" one hundred thousand times warrents you calling he and everything else names, then YOU need to mature a little.
  13. Oops, didn't realize there were replies! Too busy with Fallout 3/Oblivion... :P First, thanks ThruItAll, I would post the image but my friend deleted it when he came over. He wanted to check out Fallout 3, and decided...To do desktop organization for some reason. He saw the image, and erased it. Apparently, he asked me if I wanted it to be deleted, and I was fixing something, so I said yes... :x Guess it's my fault. Thanks for the offer, though! Always appreciated. However, I'm still searching for a backup. In the meantime, I'm going to attempt to resize an image from online and see if it keeps the resolution. So thanks littleboy, I never held down shift. So I'm trying it now. If that doesn't work, my friend graciously repayed me for erasing my image and other things with a spare copy of Photoshop CS4. \ I'll edit this post if I find the old image/figured out how to resize it or still having trouble. Thanks again, both of you! :)
  14. Hey guys. I've a really annoying dilemma, and I have been looking all over the internet for a solution...But to no avail. (I always phail with searches) So, I'm going to ask here. Well, the problem is that I have a 186x150 picture/avatar. I wanted it at a bigger size, so I've been resizing it with everything--the problem is, it's always blurry when resized to a bigger scale. Does anyone know how to resize the image so it doesn't come out blurry? On my iMac desktop I have iPhoto and Photoshop CS2. My Parallels Windows desktop has Gimp and other programs that would help in resizing that my friend gave me. It's frustrating that I don't know how to resize t, and FAQ's never answer my question. I don't mind if there isn't a solution, I just want an answer: Can it be resized whilst keeping it's original resolution? Or will it always come out blurry? If so, is there any way to fix the blur when I resize it? Thanks for the help, guys.

I've been following this on and off...last I heard though was that they hadn't been picked up by a publisher? They got picked up by Sega. And the Conduit looks freaking amazing. I just hope it turns out as good as it looks. So ya. Look forward to the conduit, MOHH2 is pretty good, CoD5 is good, I found Redsteel to be a blast, but thats just me...Other than those, though, I really don't play a whole lot of FPS's. I've been playing on my computer/PSP for the past months, though...
  16. It may be geared towards more mature audiences, but no matter what those same immature teens/pre-teens will jump in. After all, JaGex cannot identify what anyone's age is, and whatever MMO is the coolest to them is the one they'll jump into. Besides, this is JaGex. It's [probably] going to be geared towards everyone, like it or not. But I knew this. I'll tr it, probably enjoy it for a little, somehow end up hating it, quit, and go back to Runescape. Thats pretty much with every other game. Like Ragnarok, Maple Story, etc. In the end, I get right back to RS.
  17. Be nice. This isn't very good critiquing...Not at all. It's...A start. Needs rhyming, more coherence, perhaps some more emotion and a good meaning behind it? Again, it's a start. Nice attempt.
  18. Thanks guys, I should've tried to keep a wiimote on while it was plugged. But my dad got pissed and took it upon himself to figure it out because he thinks he's technologically efficient. Well, he convinced himself that there was a fault in the USB, returned the Mic, then got a Rock Band one, and at the time I didn't know you had to have the wii mote in so...Well, anyway. My friends and I gave up...And went to play Brawl and my careless, almost oblivious and stupid friend jumps back onto the couch with a wired GC controller in, throwing the wii off of it's spot and jamming the disk in upon ground impact. Honest to freaking God... Anyone know a way to extract it manually? Without opening it up? I found one way by fishing and pulling it out, but I've contacted Nintendo, and well...Cost me $60 dollars...Whatever though, anyone now a manual way before sending? :| EDIT: Also, will the Rock Band mic work with Guitar Hero?
  19. Hey guys, just popped on to ask a question... I got a Mic today for my Wii version of guitar hero, it's a logitech Vantage USB Mic for the Wii. I plugged it in and turned the game on, but the thing won't read the Mic... #-o Does anyone know if this Mic is even compatible with Guitar Hero? I've checked everywhere, and in fact I saw one person say it works flawlessly. Anway, anyone have any ideas to why it won't work? Thanks. Oh, by the way...That guitar on ebay is pretty sweet.
  20. Why are you allowed to say things like this, but I was temp banned for saying that I used an R4!? Because he's not necessarily saying downloaded games like FF7, he [could] mean downloaded homebrew games. Emulators, I believe are also not a warrent for a ban, although I'm not sure. Also, he did say he's not encouraging it...I honestly don't know whats wrong with that. If you buy the hardware, you should be able to do whatever you want, including hacking it using an R4 or Pandora. Although I love my PSP to death, I have to disagree...The DS has a waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy broader libraray, a lot NOT kiddy. In fact, the PSP doesn't have a lot of great games itself; without custom firmware, I wouldn't see a reason to own one, other than Crisis Core or Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Other than that, the only other thing you can do is store music and photos and videos, but even then the DSi is gonna own that.
  21. Well, since I refuse to play on the weekdays (ever since my parents wouldn't allow me to play on the weekdys six years ago, it kinda stayed) UNLESS it's a new game or an old classic that I want to play, in which case I do my homework and play the game until 11. So about 6-11. However, my schedule is really dependnant if I'm playing an old game, so I have 2: NO CLASSICS GAMES FOUND (i.e. Half Life or Warcraft) Monday: None. Tuesday: None. Wednesday: None. Thursday: None. Friday: 5 hours. Saturday: 2-5 hours. Sunday: 2-5 hours. Total: 9-15 Hours during these Weeks. Computer time isn't integrated on the weekdays, only the weekends, but it's two hours a day on the computer. GAME I WANT TO PLAY FOUND (i.e. Final Fantasy VII, which I just put into my PSP And am addicted to) Monday: 5-7 Hours. (With 2 Hours Computer time) Tuesday:6-8 Hours. " " Wednesday: 5-8 Hours. " " Thursday: 5-7 Hours. " " Friday: 7-9 Hours. " " Saturday: 5 Hours. (Not counting computer time, which is about 2 hours) Sunday: 5 Hours. " " Total: 40-49 (With computer time) Hours During these weeks :ugeek: It's funny how a game that I REALLY want to play can dictate how long I play. Especially if it's a classic. However, a soon as I'm satisfied with either a) Beating the Game or B) doing as much as possible in the game, I go back to the shortened schedule. I'm playing FF7 though; I won't be off forever. @ NOM_ANOR: New Guitar Hero game?
  22. Not to mention you can play FF7 and other PSOne games! I got all three FF7 disks on my PSP just two days ago, it's [bleep]ing insane. But I agree, the homebrew is amazing...I have all of those apps you have, plus you can even customize the Cross menu bar (XMB) and more through flashing or CTF's. And, with the upcoming N64 emulator coming late October--early November, the PSP's homebrew will be amazingly fun. =P~ I always thought the DS was amazing until my dad found the PSP at the airport about 2 months ago. Since then, I'm obsessed, and my DS has been gathering dust in my bag, while my Custom Firmware PSP (which I cut open my own battery and restored using Time Machine) is getting all of the attention. If you do end up getting it though, make sure you update to 4.01 M33-2; right now, 5.00 M33 isn't really that good, since many homebrew apps cannot be run on it...
  23. Well, in order to advertise the signatures, just take the code of the signature (i.e. It will be an img and you'll put it i code) like this: Put the signature code in here (This is where all of the buttons are, AKA Hide and Code, etc.) Above the code, put the signature. To do this: [img=Put Signature code inside these image bars, but don't put it in code] Also, it's probably best to put a support list up so you can gain many, many people. Just make sure I'm in there \

Yea, of course I was wearing the cape. Kinda hard to ignore that important set of instructions. I was killed by people wearing green capes while I was wearing a green team cape. It was more than more person as well and they were all saying "T ferd". So yea it wasn't any accident. I also see you kinda failed to read my post. I've been around tip.it for a few years now and I'm just now posting in the forums lamo. I didn't fail to read your post at all. The point is you wouldn't have been killed, neigh attacked, if you wore the exact same cape as the rest of tip.it--and correct me if I'm wrong--you can't be attacked by your own team if you are wearing the same team cape. So, you either a) Failed to wear the right team cape or B) were attacked by a different team who were wearing a green team cape, which you could've confused for tip.it. Again, I did not fail to read your post...You failed to read mine because I had clearly said I don't think that looming over threads and reading them makes you an active tip.it member, but posting does, being active and communicating does...Someone who is interested in reading only is honestly not an active member...I mean, I clearlydidn't know who you were when I saw this post, and thought you were new...But, whatever. I heard the multi steel war was a meh this year.
  25. sephiroth_king replied to FerdDeMan's topic in Rants
You've been around for a while and you have one post? :? Er, were you wearing the Tip.it wildy cape? If not, then that is one of the reason you were probably eliminated. Hehe...But you also haven't been around for long either, otherwise people would've probably recognized your name...But uh, 1 post = not been around for long IMO, and this doesn't count just looming over other threads and reading them without posting, or creating your own thread...
