  1. I made my own sig, but forgot to resize and make the background transparent, so I got a really fat version of my character in it :-# ....gonna be redoing it soon. Great job to all those who helped with this! ~Dan
  2. Your public is on hide, ;) I still don't get it.... Having public on hide shouldn't affect anything, as what they say doesn't show up in the chat box either way, it only appears over their head. ~Dan
  3. Finally got it!! [hide=more pics] Sorry forgot to crop this one: [/hide] ~Dan
  4. Ddaanniiellh's 99 Defense Event Time: Sunday 8/10/08 5 pm EST 11 pm GMT Heres a time converter if you need: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Place: World 90 Lumbridge Church Plan: I'll be getting 99 Defense about 5 minutes after the hour, with a lamp. Then I'll get my cape and head to w141 Clan Wars! All is invited! Be sure to come! ~Dan
  5. KBD could be easily killed 50+ times, or even more with a team of 3 or 4 people. Also, another thing that you have to compare when fighting both...the inventory and required items to go fight these bosses. DKs require a lot more money base to kill as you use brews, along with expensive armour, while killing the KBD, you use sharks, and basic items that are easily obtained. Another point is that it is a lot easier to die at DKs, in comparison to KBD, therefore with bigger risk = bigger reward. ~Dan
  6. if you get bored shouldn't you just train something else on you main, but not to make a new account and train the same thing? i understand of having 2 accounts. 1 main and 1 Bh accout what i dont understand is having a skiller account why can't you just skill on your main Simply because there is a difference when you're lvl 90+ in comparison to when you're under lvl 20...it's almost like seeing the world through a whole different perspective. ~Dan
  7. For lessers, I would suggest once you reach mid 90s combat. By then, you can kill them very fast while using very little food. ~Dan
  8. I would stick to prayer + whip method, as there is a lower risk of dying even if you dc and run out of prayer, and the loss should be less. ~Dan
  9. The profits from the 2 methods simply depends on the player's defense and prayer levels. I earn more from tanking method, because I have a very high defense...while someone else with lower defense may earn more with praying. ~Dan
  10. That would be the best path to take for the moment. However, if you can smelt steel, buy coal from the Grand Exchange, and smelt those instead. It gives a pretty nice profit. ~Dan
  11. For 61 crafting, you could spin flax into bs, or you could make sapphire bracelets and alch them, if you either mine the gold or make the nature runes, you'll profit. For the harpies, it simply depends on your defense level, they can hit a lot if you're defense is <55 ~Dan
  12. I would wait until you're over 50 or 60 mining to start mining coal. And then mine in the Dwarven mines if under 60, in the Mining Guild if 60+...that is probably the most efficient way. ~Dan
  13. How can you even compare Firemaking to Cooking and Fletching? Fletching is like 75k xp/hr, Cooking 200k and Firemaking 50k xp/hr, and you can't afk at all. Its alot harder then most people think.... (unless you can afford like yew logs+ or something) Where did you get those numbers >.< Firemaking is definitely more than 50k an hour...even using willows. Firemaking is 90-100k per hour with willows and 135-150k per hour with maples. ~Dan
  14. Do you really need that many people on your ignore list? Put your Private Chat on friends, and delete people from your ignore list after they've left you alone. ~Dan
  15. The one thing that really destroyed the respect of the majority with cooking is with Cook-X. I remember having to click food-->click fire, repeat. This actually made it even harder than firemaking to get 99, as you don't get back raw foods that you failed at cooking (as firemaking, where you keep a log even if you failed at making a fire with it). However, I know myself how and when I got my cooking xp, so I am proud of wearing it, irregardless of what others say. Also, I still enjoy cooking things such as pies and pizzas, which is a lot less boring than fish. (Wrote at 12:30 am, may be a little hard to read because my head is hurting) ~Dan
  16. Nothing that I have found. ~Dan
  17. There is a Mod Danielh (and my username is Ddaanniiellh), seen him once in Catherby, i have a pic somewhere, i'll see if i can find it. ~Dan [Edit]: Apparently it's on my old computer >.<
  18. Start training some skills. On my skiller account (f2p), i have earned over 10m simply by skilling. Smelted Steel bars to 70, Rced airs to 60, and also mined Gold. These are 3 very profitable skilling methods. You could try merchanting, however you have to pay close attention to the Grand Exchange prices and how it moves in order to profit well. There are many ways out there to earn this money, just got to look out for it ;) ~Dan
  19. As said before, the most profitable way is to smelt Steel Bars. However, if you have the extra money, buy iron bars and smith Iron Platebodies. You could easily switch between these two methods to gain xp with no losses. ~Dan
  20. Joining a clan is definitely 1 way to go, I have made a lot of lasting friends through several different clans that I have been a part of. Go out there and look for friends, there is definitely another person out there that enjoys doing similar things as you on Runescape, or even outside of it. ~Dan
  21. This was one of my favorite quests in a while, no need to run back and forth from the bank grabbing random items, and had a lot of interesting cut scenes  Also love the resizable screen. ~Dan
  22. Are you sure about that, because i was never able to do that before this monday. ~Dan
  23. You heal 1 hp per 30 sec, so it gives you 4 hp per sec, which actually isn't that bad...while using a bunyip along with it. ~Dan
  24. Something that I find enjoyable by a lot over RS, either that, or RS becomes single player. ~Dan
  25. Exactly what I'm thinking. I have a pure defense account, and the point is to stand out...being a level 70 wearing rune and cutting yews is nothing special, while a level 18 doing the exact same is unexpected and unique. ~Dan
