Scammers are a pest, but they're fun to mess with. Offer them my armor, then decline in the second window. Hehehe, silly little scammer noobs. Not much you can do about them though, other than report them. But hey, I've seen all the scams, so they can't get me anymore. They never could.

It's not just new f2p'ers, but many new players are ruining the game. People expect instant gratification, so they buy gp, levels, and all that junk. They ruin the game, and then start harrassing me for being a noob, because I'm a lower level then they are. I hate those cheating [insert bad word here]

Can you say RS3? I hope it has to do something with f2p (yeah right) maybe like colored gloves, members make 'em f2pers buy 'em. But no point in getting my hopes up. Although that would do wonders for p2p economy.

I prefer to keep my pixels covered in public. :D Lol, but actually, nothing isn't the best, bronze armor is the best to wear, it not only makes you look un-membersish, but it also makes you look dirt poor. Bronze med or chef's hat, no body, bronze square, blue skirt, bronze short sword, and a black cape. That's my noob disguise. I never NEVER wear my rune (g) around if I want to be left alone. But I am f2p, and it's not that bad. I can mostly ignore the stupid ones, and I always have public chat on friends. I'm usually chopping yews in edge, so I don't get harrassed much up there. So, yeah, you just have to know what to do.

I disagree that names like 'Cexygurl' or 'Playgirl' definitely mean you're a girl. If anything, I think it sounds more like ten year old boys pretending to be a girl to get spoken to in a dirty manner. And yeah it was sexist but it made me laugh :D Plugpoint92 : I think the writer meant that if you have those names, it's more likely your a guy, but people with (relativly) real names are more likely to be chicks. I'm not complaining, considering I'm the one selling, not the one buying. I've never spent a single gp on bones, hides, logs, nothing! Every skill I have has been entirly through my own sheer work ethic, except my armour, I didn't make that...But still, I earned the money to buy it, so that evens out. It's supply and demand, demand goes up because of skill capes, supply goes down, prices go up, macros go up, supply goes up, prices go down, workers complain about macros, Jagex does some clean up, macros go down, supply goes down, prices go up...You get my drift. Prices aren't steady. They never will be. Soon the prices (might) go down, when there's an influx of bots. But just hang in there, or go do something else. Or be like me, the un-lazy (but oftened called stupid) RuneScapian (yes, that's why my skills are so low, even after three years)

First, there's already a rant, second, no one cares, third, I doubt it, because you have only one post, and your first one is complaining about being banned, fourth, I doubt it because there are some dumb mods, I doubt they would ban you, fifth, mods can't ban you, sixth, what do you want us to do about it?

But I hate those little noobs who have come up to me as girls saying "I b3 ur grl frnd 4 100k" I'm sorry, but when I'm looking for a girlfriend, I want three things 1) She's really a girl 2) She's not just in it for the money (can you say [bleep]?) 3) She's real, not in a video game. I believe that they do not meet those prerequisites

The scammers don't sell for hundreds of thousands, but tens of thousands. High enough to make it worth while, but low enough new players can buy them. Plus the fact that gold buyers buy them, but I hate them anyways so just let them buy rolls :)

Something Moonshadow posted on a similar thread that made me laugh. Personalyy, I've been bragged to by level 40s who's only members items are canafis robes, saying I'm a noob. Hmm...A level 88 is a noob for not being a member, but a stupid bragging 40 isn't a noob for trying (and failing) to show off? I didn't know this was Backwards World.

If you get scammed, it is partly your problem for not taking the initiative to find out about it, but that's no reason Jagex shouldn't try to prevent scams that are easily prevented.

Think through your idea. What will the duck do, what will the potion do, how will you get the potion in f2p, and what are the requirements? There's to many loose ends for it to be any good. PLus I would rather have a real quest for f2p then this travesty. Two minutes of minor enjoyment. Make a puzzle for it, something to add difficulty. Anyways, gertrude's cat isn't useless, it opens a lot more quests.

Why? Jagex isn't just sitting there thinking "Hmm...I see people are collecting this item, let's ruin their fun and make it non-tradeable." After all, everyone collects coins, should those be non-tradeable? They saw people were being scammed by people claiming spinach rolls and such were rare, so they made them untradeable. There are no chicken scams out there (that I've seen) so no need to ban chickens. Oh, and be glad they didn't just take them all out of the game, like with my precious ax handle collection :( R.I.P. beating sticks

The question is, why did he accept. Did he not notice it, just like you? Did he think you really (and I mean really) needed the bones? Did he just think "What a noob, might as well rip him off." Whatever it was, the answer will change. But the blame rests on you. Sorry about your loss man, hope you make that money back soon.

My apologies if this has been mentioned. This has been something minor that just gets on my nerves. It wouldn't be too hard to fix, and it just seems dumb not too. Fix the map orientation to the screen and compass please! Look at this picture please. Notice that the corridor of squares I'm standing on is going perfectly north. Now look at the corner map. The wall is at an angle. The north compass is facing slightly less then north. Simple problems, small problems, easy to fix problems, and the type of stupid problems that show a lack of attention to minor details that make everything just that much better. Thanks for putting up with my little bit of a suggestion.

You must understand that most of the idiots who do that are either prepubescent boys who think girls are icky and have cooties or immature basement-dwellers who have never had any sort of conduct with a girl in their little lives except a chance meeting in a video game. They're just afraid of you. I know a few folks who are girls with guy characters for the exact reason you mentioned. Anyways, the d skirt looks better on dudes then chicks in my opinion. Kilts ftw!

If someone is dumb enough to not look up an item before buying in the RuneHQ, Zybez, etc. item databases (sry to all you tip.iters, but we don't have an item database #-o ) then it's his fault to be scammed out of his "hard-earned gp". And yes, it is worth it for a few people to do a lesser-known project. Not everybody knows about runehq, zybez, etc. I only found out about them a year ago, and I've been playing for 3+ years. And usually if someone is saying "I'll sell to you for 10k, but they're worth 20k, but you gotta buy now cause I need the money fast, please hurry up," your not thinking, "Hmm, maybe I should take time to look this up to make sure he's right, and if he is, then I just lost that 10k I could have made." You're thinking, "What a deal, hurry hurry hurry!" And more people have their gp saved from scams then people who collect spinach rolls. And if your new enough to be scammed by a spinach roll, you usually are new enough 10k is a lot. Enough to make you decide that your doomed in the game now, so you quit.

I don't like being called an idiot. Please don't insult people you don't know. Anyways, I was tired and angry when I posted, so that's not how I usually am, but what I meant is that there are few spinach collectors, but a lot of people being scammed by spinach scammers. So is it worth it to let a few people do a lesser used project instead of preventing a bunch of ill-informed people from losing their hard earned GP.

I like purple. Black and brown wouldn't show up very well. Especially in the wildy.

Adapt to crap, I'm thinking of quitting because of the last updates this year.. (Ditch, no staking, ect.) This game is begginning to suck more than Club Penguin. I think Jagex is trying to turn Runescape into club penguin. After all, lots of little kids with strangleholds on their parents wallets will do wonders for Jagex's bank accounts. Look at all the recent kiddy updates. There is no longer any risk. You can try to run and get your items if you die, if you need help ask a guide, if you need help on a quest, ask the quest help thingy, and now there is nerely no risk of scam anymore. It's really getting on my nerves. But on topic, I think we should be able to kill outside the wildy. After all, you need to be smart enough to run if your close to dieing.

Boo Hoo for you. Now you can't buy spinach rolls. Who cares if people are being scammed out of there money, as long as you can keep on doing a pointless task. Personally, I would rather they weren't tradeable, now every single one you get is a precious piece of your collection, and shows you got a random. So now a collection of 50 is a lot more impressive than a collection of 100 previously. I really can't believe how selfish some people are.
