More proof of what I have come to term "The Dissatisfaction Factor," best exemplified by my parents. The only time some people are satisfied is when there is something they can be dissatisfied over, leaving them something to complain about. So, all in all, in a world filled with hunger, war, and disease, the worst thing amongst it all is an added slash in all the zeros. I love this world.

But why should I be flamed when I can't be members, not for being unable to pay, but my parents won't let me? I don't feel like going behind their backs and buying it, and then if they find out they ground me from the game, therefore causing me to not play at all, and loose all the money left on my account. Yep, real fair there. Anyways, I don't feel like spending my money on the game, even if I could. I'd rather spend it on more useful stuff, like food. Mmm...food.

How I would love to punch you in the face for that comment... Lmao, the truth hurts? Yeah, the truth hurts your face if Mico gets his way. But seriously, that was an ignorant statement to make. Have you ever spent real time in f2p? Sure there are plenty of noobs, newbs, and all other variations of the word, but there are also some good folks who aren't jerks. After you spend some time in f2p and actually playing instead of trashing us, then you can bash us all you want, if you still want to. And just one note, every, and I mean every, member was f2p at one time.

Theres cats as pets on rs so why not dog pets in rs?
frogmann2 replied to alstrom123's topic in Rants
It's not a cat, it's a bunch of pixels on your screen. If you really care so much about not having a cat, then just pretend the cat you have, which doesn't really exist, is a dog. If you lack the capacity to imagine a dog instead of an unreal cat, then don't get one at all. If Jagex gave us every animal we want, then players would be walking around with an entire zoo in their inventory. All in all, it's just a game, so get over having a 3/4 inch by 1 inch pixel combination that looks remotely similar to a cat. -
You know what? Get over it! I'm not some f2p hating member, I'm a f2per and prud of it. I got membership, didn't see why it was worth 5 bucks a month, so I cancelled it. But, even though I don't like being made fun of just because I decide to save my money, I don't care about being jeered at by the members. Jagex is never going to take away f2p, and who cares what some idiot thinks about you? So what if people rant on and on about you. Your probably less of a noob then them. Let the imbosiles feel better about wasting their money by making fun of you, and just laugh as you buy something useful with the money you save.

If You Found 250 Million Coins. What Would You Buy? 20k views
frogmann2 replied to a topic in Questionnaires
I would give it to my friend who helped me out when I was first starting to play, but maybe keep a little 50 mil to buy a set of full rune zammy and full rune (g), plus a lifetime supply of swordies and a couple sets of full rune regular, since I'm a pitiful little f2per. -
I bet you never knew... ~\500+ facts collected/~
frogmann2 replied to tintin113's topic in General Discussion
Did you know that you can collect black knight points for the wanted quests in f2p? I've become a master even though I haven't stepped foot in p2p for a year. -
Deal with it. I beat that lvl 99 didn't get every ore he tried to mine. No one has ever gotten every ore they've ever tried. Go train. Use iron rocks for a while. Less people will ore steal from you on them. If you still can't do it, mine tin or copper. Eventually, you'll get to a level where you'll be able to mine coal. I didn't mine it until about 10 levels after the limit to do it.

F2P Forever! It makes a f2per like me glad to see such commitment. It renews my resolve to remain f2p, and not go back to members. Go syzygy! My only regret is that I can't beat him since I had f2p for a year and raised some of my skills. Ah well.

Tip.It Times Presents: RuneScape: A game for the young?
frogmann2 replied to Ard_Choille's topic in General Discussion
Why I believe RuneScape has declined so much in the way of maturity is the new players are so pandered too. They now have everything handed to them. With the skill tutors, quest help, and the ability to operate completly independent of any community interaction, have left people alone and without learning the proper internet social interaction. I know that my first three (and oldest) friends were from trying to find the way to do a quest, or a skill. But with so much "help," no one is asking questions, or making friends in the process. So really, all this help from Jagex isn't really helping. -
Buy some new clothes, make sure there not geeky and get a hair cut. Study hard, find friends early on, and play the rest by ear. That's all there really is to it.
-
Saying runescape is "educational" is just putting yourself in denial about wasting your time on it. Your trying to justify your scimping on school work by thinking "It doesn't matter, runescape is educational." Oh and monsters won't attack you if you are twice their level plus one.

The 132 Signs You Play Too Much RuneScape!!
frogmann2 replied to Killy_the_Kid's topic in General Discussion
You think anyone with 10,000 dollars is poor. -
It is a VIDEO GAME! What about chompy hunting and leaving the carcasses rather then eating them? Or killing cows just for the hides? Or maybe killing chickens for feathers? Or for that matter, killing innocent men and women just for what they drop when they die? If runescape were "humane" there would be no runescape! Now, I'm not some uncaring and souless person. I work for a veterinarian's office and volunteer at the zoo. I have three dogs, three cats, and a bunch of smaller critters. I see what people can do to animals at the vet's, and I feel for the animals. But it is, after all, a VIDEO GAME. I would be more worried about runescape inspiring murderous tendencies in children then causing them to be cruel to their animals.

Tip.It Times Presents: Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
frogmann2 replied to Kiara_Kat's topic in General Discussion
Good article, but not up to the editors usual standards. A month break might just help bring it back up to the high tip.it standards. I thought you might like to see this. Empty worlds, frightening, isn't it. -
More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
frogmann2 replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
It isn't a demo anymore. If it was, why would JaGeX even bother doing anything? Why would they update the cities and graphics? It is now just as much a part of runescape as members. It has become the second child I guess you could say. It is a lure, but it is also the game, just a smaller part. The economy of the f2p world is related to the p2p world. Where are the most willows? The most air runes? In f2p of course. It is an important part, even if it isn't too big. And to help with the econmic endeavors of it, give them more bankspace so that they can hold more stuff to sell. -
More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
frogmann2 replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
PLus, in that account, many people would have a set of mage clothes and staffs, various costumes from randoms, (frog, zombie, camo, freaky forester), ores and bars, logs, talismans and rune ess, and the couple of items that seem to collect (partial potions, things that you kinda want, so on) It may not seem much, but it is quite a lot, when you, in your case, only have 16 more bank spaces. the costumes alone can take up that many. So it really is hard to keep everything in a f2p world. -
More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
frogmann2 replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Yeah, and where would that leave people like me. A level 85 with 3 years into his account. Sadly due to financial troubles (not poor, but without money to spare) I can't pay for membership. Now, A loyal player, a contributing member of the community, and not a bad person all in all, having his account, items, and three years washed away. Now, that certainly is a fair treatment and certainly a good idea. NOT. Oh, and it's not like p2p can't see the graphics work. They can see it all. And there are a lot of graphics done in p2p, all sorts of monsters, like DRAGONS and KALPHITES. No use to us f2p. Plus Jagex is just doing, for lack of a better word, "practice" for doing the real members stuff which will be grand, most likely. So, quit complaining. Anyways, is it really so bad that we get something now and then. Even a starved dog gets a bone once in a while. P.S. First, learn to spell, second don't make an account just to make people mad. Don't think your one post and no told name gets past me. Say something yourself or don't say anything at all. -
More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
frogmann2 replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
P.S. To all those who say "non-members don't do anything for Jagex, why should they do anything for f2p?" One, we get advertisements, advertisements=money, without us taking all those ads for you, they would put them on your p2p servers. Either that or your p2p fees go up. Also, why can't we? It won't hurt you. So why not let us get ONE measly little update that an ADVANCED player can use. Guides are great and good for newbies, but we high level players have no use for it. It just isn't any use. So just let us get a good update for once. -
More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
frogmann2 replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I fully agree. I am f2p only, and one thing I have come to HATE is the fact that every two or three weeks I have to do a bank purge. I have gone through multiple zombie suits, not to mention all the frog items. Anyways, as you say in the main post, "Throw in the 19 pieces of Random Event clothing that they may collect over the years. That̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s 19 spaces in which they can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t store any other items they may need for skilling, pking, or merchanting." This can simply be rememdied. If Diango can deal with holiday event gifts, why not the non-tradeable random events gifts. It would be so much more simple. But I fully support more bankspace. IS that really too much to ask? -
What Item Did you Treasure as a Newbie? - 12k+ Views!
frogmann2 replied to equal_ibrium's topic in General Discussion
I found an anti-dragon's breath shield and thought it was an extremely rare item. I thought that it was a one of a kind item that no one else had. I sold it for 50 gp, which I later celebrated thinking I just ripped someone off. -
What will Runescape be like in 50 years? Or even 5?
frogmann2 replied to n_odie's topic in General Discussion
In 50 years, I'll probably be dead, so I don't care, but in 5, it will probably have better graphics. The music might be REAL music rather then bad electronic keyboard versions. People will have faces and hands, and the player to player interface will probably be improved. Hopefully, all macros will be dead and gone, and the pker will lie down with the abyss crafter, and their will be peace. I hope the last one won't happen, where will I get cheap runes? I can't wait to see
