I don't know how it is for lower levels but at 81 defense without armour I hardly get hit in the abyss, usually I'll eat 1 trout every 5-6 trips which isn't much of a pain.

No you can't use ectophial when you're teleblocked. I wear nothing besides a bronze pick and boots of lightness, which brings down my weight to 1KG allowing me to make 40+ trips an hour with super energy pots. If i wear hides that takes my weight to around 26KG allowing me to only make 30 trips or so. 10 trips an hour is a big difference esp when you're 91+ rc. That's an extra 1K natures, 300K. Just be smart when you runecraft and you'll be fine. If you get entangled immediately click your ectophial/elf crystal etc.. if you do this quick enough they will never be able to teleblock you. If the mage uses teleblock before entangle you will still have enough time to tele through from the zammy mage, then just log out and back in and the effect is gone. If it's a meeler or a ranger there's nothing to worry about. As long as you have full hp or close to full they'll never be quick enough to PK you. I've crafted over 700K natures through abyss so far without dying.

Great story there, you were very very lucky :P I would have given him a mil, he would have been wrapped. I once picked up full zammy in the abyss, poor guy brang uncooked tuna (LOL) and died. When i got back to edgeville after my run I couldn't find him so I kept it :P

I think you misinterperated my post. I never said a lvl 66 with 99 mage isn't a pure. I said you can fund 99 mage in many ways. Just because you have low combat doesn't mean you can't be rich. Getting 99 in money making skills such as woodcutting, runecrafting, mining ain't going to add to combat so the stereotype of low level = poor player isn't true. Just because a lvl 66 has 99 mage you can't automatically assume he xfers from a main.

It will keep dropping, demand vs supply. Take dragon shield for example, "rare" item but more in supply than there is in demand for it. Hence the drop from 8M (as far as i remember) to 3M today.

Wouldn't be too excited until someone confirms it heals 22 in one bite. Manual says cake heals 12 and we all know how many bites that is..

I'm over half way there.. over 400M made to date ;) What I've got to go.... 5152000 XP / 17K per hour running alone through abyss = 303 hours approximately I'd say about 30 weeks runecrafting 10 hours a week.

Bones to peaches is less than half. 2000 enchanment, 200 telekinetic, 200 graveyard, 300 alchemist

Yes it's 1 cast for all bones in your inventory and no they cannot be cut with a knife

honestly tho is it worth it? i dont really like training magic any more unless im alching things simply because its "free" magic experience since i make $ off what i alch I don't really give a [cabbage] about losing money on runes for faster xp. If it saves me 100 hours getting to 99, i can make 140M back on the saved hours :0)

Yeah it degrades when you are IN combat. Whether you are getting hit or not does not matter.

I've tested both, stun with mud staff and using onyx in the mage training area. Souls is roughly 95K an hour but it makes you go insane. Enchantment room is a little less with only 80-85K p/hr using onyx spell but it offsets by being a cheaper option to train with and cosmics being in more supply than souls. Not to mention the bonus pizazz points.

Very awesome spell I got this as well, and using it to train melee and slayer. It's much much better than slow/lucky guthans.

I got the bones too peaches spell.. since it's untradable, can always buy the rest 93 rc ;)

Gee, cut the guy some slack. He's written an informative guide and you are all too greedy counting your own profits so you flame him. Why don't tip.it just close all together, i mean why tell anyone hints and tips on rs, lets keep everything to ourselves. Those of you who are complaining about there being more pk'rs now.. it is the WILD, deal with it. If you aren't prepared to risk dying then don't go. Mine at the heroes guild instead.
