In imp catcher, I usually see beads on the ground after someone killed an imp. Can't a friend help out? In dragon slayer, use recoils and keep eating. I think it can be done.

Well if youre fighting monsters that barely hit you back (jad etc.) you should use that or bandos plate and you'd have to waste actual money on bandos so fighting torso can sometimes be useful.

Yeah i think rune and torso are about same stats so don't really mind getting one.

Honestly i have no experience tanning so I can't tell you that but killing green dragons gives half the expected xp but I am 99% sure it gives more money than tanning. Be sure to kill at chaos tunnels.
