  1. Just 5 topics down, something almost identical to this was brought up. so I'm just gonna quote myself:
  2. All the questions that are asked in the correct place usually get answered. And I brought up the icons a while ago for a different reason, and they are there to stay.
  3. Although Help and Advice is a fast moving forum, all the questions usually get answered. Why split it up?
  4. This one was hard... I'm really not crazy over either of them. Navy's has just that one color, which just looks really plain. Also, the color has really nothing that relates to the original picture. It looks like the tree has a bow tie, and for the life of me I can't read the writing. Looks like "Life _____ On" or something. As for LP's, it's way to dark. The writing seems out of place, and the brown spot around the bottom of the tree just adds to the darkness. I do like the leaf over the trunk of the tree, and that the background keeps some of it's original colors. LP's here.
  5. Look like fun. As for required size, I've seen 800x600x80kb on some forums, but because this is photography, you could probably make file size unlimited.
  6. I have no idea what browser you use, but Firefox doesn't have auto spell check and I don't believe IE does either. Infact, this is the first I've ever heard of a browser having spell check. Another reason to use Safari.
  7. As for spell check, your browser should have it built in.
  8. This would just cause more problems, as there are more questions then answers, and then people get mad when their question doesn't get answered, and begin to spam, flame, etc. It was brought up before and put to rest because of the above reasons, if I remember right.
  9. Interesting, the two I liked the least are winning... I really liked yours woopi, my kinda colors, ya know.
  10. Thanks, I like pencil drawings as well. I plan to work on shading on my next piece, as soon as I get it to the point where it's ready for color. Also, do you think I should outline my drawings in black ink? I've been doing that since I started, and I've kind of grown to it... but does it look good? No you should not, color pencil drawings can achieve a much greater realism when no black outlines are used. As long as your shading is clear, you won't need any black outlining. Shading is tough, but I'd suggest spending a lot of time on shading one drawing rather than a little time on a series of drawings. Ok, thanks.

  12. They are screenshots, but not from MFS. Since I can't get out and do "actual" photography with a camera, I take a lot of screenshots. It's a lot easier, as I am in control of many more things... make for good shots in my mind.
  13. Plans, cars, and landscapes. I haven't put a colored pencil to paper in nearly 3 years, so all of the drawings are old.
  14. Decided to start this up, as I'm starting to get more time on my hands for art, as well as other things. I'll start with a few older drawings and add to it as I can. As you will see, most are in the field of transportation, as that is where my interests lie. You will also see that I have put in a couple shots from my driving/flying simulators, as I enjoy that kind of photography almost more than the real kind. Enjoy! 15. Eh, Alaska is worse... no one 'round these parts.
  16. BTW, what are you thinking of doing to it as far as style? Are you planning on restoring it to its factory state? Or are you going to customize it?
  17. Ick, hated that book.. the movie was even worse though. I still get nightmares.
  18. Meh, I'm only in 8th grade, but have been reading above 12th grade level since 4th grade, yet I've only read The Giver, and I have to blame my teacher for that. Oh, Holes too, but thats nowhere near a classic.
  19. Not one of my favorite cars, but a good one regardless. You have a lot of work there, but you were off to a good start by doing your research, as if you continue to do so the car will end up very nicely. If you know someone that does this type of work professionally, get them to help you, as if the car turns out looking (and driving) professionally done, then I wouldn't be surprised if you were able to sell it for 50K. Just keep as many parts as you can, and get the #'s on the car- i have seen cars go for almost 10k more because they know which # car it is. Good luck, and keep us updated!
  20. No cookie, but I'm in.
  21. I'm gonna be daring and enter this, I want to see what I can do compared to others... :) EDIT: On second thought... I have to sign up to download it? *looks at sign-up form* Yikes! Too much information for me... Guess I'm out.

If you couldn't guess just by looking at my sigs, I also enjoy flight, and I am getting my pilots license as soon as I am of legal age (another couple years.) I'm in ground school now. If I were to become a pilot, I'd either want to do the regional carriers (American Eagle...) or anything Alaska Airlines, though particularly cargo. I recommend if you enjoy flying, then you look into X-Plane, which is a great flight simulator and I currently use it as practice. (It's better than the Microsoft one, the way it models flight is more accurate) See you in the skies!
