That just seems like a kind of insulting statement. Like has been said, many people believe it is perfectly natural. There just happen to be a lot more heterosexual people. There happen to be a lot more white people in the U.S.A., would you say being black is not normal? What about being jewish? race vs. sexuality isn't a good comparison.
