In my first account (basketboy44) i really didn't know how to effectively make money. My moneymaking strategy consisted of aimlessly walking around looking for free stuff. Imagine my excitement when i found a beer glass in the barbarian villiage. Some nice "rich guy" gave me full bronze so i decided to take a saunter past the jail. Then the guards killed me. I was so mad i quit runescape. Then a month later my friend told me to play so i made icklefudge.

Nice guide, but i have a suggestion for the inventory. I like to have 2 barricades and 4 explode pots in my inventory. The pots are incase you decide you need to go underground. The barricade is because on defense, theoretically your team should only be using 4 (or in zammy's case 5). If you have people chasing after you, just drop the cade and you have scored easy squeesy :D

Ohh yes you bet I do! This is such a funny (and true) story: I make it a point to not play runescape in class. It makes people call you a nerd and If you get caught your laptop get's erased (yes, we get loaned laptops for the year). Now runescape Is blocked of course, but this one guy figured out how to play it at school. Now the school also has something that can tell what your laptop is doing at all times. When he got caught playing runescape in class he was sent to the tech room. The tech lady (who is a good 40-50 years old) told him that he was caught playing runescape. Then It got weird. She told him to log on to his account, which he did so. Then she told him to go to varrok and drop all his stuff. Now it is common knowlege in our school that she plays. I would bet anyone 10 bucks and a partyhat that she logged on and grabbed all his stuff :o :o

IT seems to me like the people in the RSOF start freaking out about "Economy Crashing" with every update...Ill bet half of the 10 and udner year olds on that forum don't even know what "economy" is

I have only just discovered the wonders of merchenting so i hope it dosnt ruin it. However picture item "A". The street price of item "A" is 1.9-2.4 mil. Under the grand exchange there might be something like Item A 1.9 1.9 1.95 1.95 2.0 2.0 2.1 2.5 you will probably be able to sort by cheapest price. Now If I am trying to merch item "A" then I would buy it for 1.9 and simply repost it for higher. One big factor would be the refresh times of the grand exchange. I really dont knwo what to make of it. I will have to wait and see :-k

absolutely AWESOME party! Somehow....i have no clue how....i managed to grab myself a pair of dragon boots. That was (obviously) the best part for me, but the train, the dungeoun, everything was fun! Ill definently show up to another party. Thanks for a great night legend :o

"gf" stands for good fight or girlfriend. If someone loses or wins a duel in cws, wildy or dueling arena and they say "gf" then they are honorable. Lot's off times people say "gf noob" which esentially means; "Good fight, but you suck" so there is a bit of a difference

Not a whole lot to be done. I mainly was just ranting. Letting my anger flow freely in a non destructive way. I beleive it's a valid rant. Maybe someone could think of a way to solve this problem, that's one of the reasons why people can reply to rants in my opinion :

Yeah!!! death to jagex! They update the game EVERY WEEK and not every update is absolutely perfect. YEAH DEATH TO JAGEX!!!!!!! Every single update has people complaining about it. What other game get's updates every week? Why don't we sppreciate what we get-which is a lot-rather then saying "Oh no the hood isn't absolutely perfect! well boo fricken hoo!" Jagex should just not update rs :?

The number one problem in rs is immaturity. This problem is bigger then autoers, bigger then bad updates. You can't play cws anymore. If you get killed 80% of the time the killer calls you a noob, gf noob, haha noob, nub, gf nub, etc. Even if the person is a lvl 50, and you get dealt a 56 by a 126 with godsword who calls you a noob? The lvl 50. There are people caving in teammates with rocks, hitting teammates with catapults, destroying cades on purpose. Runescape is supposed to be 13+ year old game...yeah right Dueling...similarly to castle wars. If you die you get called noob etc. If you win you hear "lucky nub". Not quite as bad as castlewars but is still very bad. Pking is one of the worst. "OMG safer!!!!!1111" "Farcaster!" "WTF hax" Pking is all out-no rules. "Farcaster".....so basically the whole point of magic is to defeat the enemy from far away. People who *heaven forbid* use magic to it's full potential in the wilderness are considered a noob. Meleers obviously got tiered of being killed by mages. Now let's pretend I just got 94 magic. Ice barrage w00t! Im going to go pk! I go and manage to kill a melee pker. As soon as I use my first barrage "noob farcaster" You know what? I spent the 20+ mil getting 94 magic, I spent the time getting it. Im gonna do what I damn well please and I sure am not stopping just because some guy dosn't want to lose his items...which leads me to "safer" Of course it is absolutely horrible to try not to lose items in runescape. Using food to...*gasp* heal you, oh don't even think about it. You are supposed to let me KO you so I can get your whip. So that is my rant. comment, flame, i don't care.

this is what i can't stand about pking. WHO CARES if he has tellys. WHO CARES if he is with a team. I don't! In the wild anything goes. Whatever it takes to win can be used. Is aqua a bad pker because he dosn't want to lose his stuff??? Tellys don't always work anyways. Anyone who says this is bad just because he has tellys and a team is just jealous. Nice gallery

I can see both sides of the issue. On one hand I have a dog whom I love very very much. I do feel a little sad when I see the varrok ones just because it makes me think of real life dogs, and otehr animals too, who go through the same thing. On teh other hand I also know that it is a game, andt hey are pixels. I think, just judging by what they represent that there should be some kind of way to adops them, and have them be like cats.

I did because my rl friend hacked me. It wasn;t the items that made me cry, it was losing someone I thought was a good friend :(

Well I agree that a massage should come up saying that that the flag is being held, and where it is located. I don't really agree with having to "earn" flag holding though.

My opinion is that there are some names that are obviously innaporpriate. Im sure everyone here knows what they are. Remember, this game is actually intended for 13+. Every 13 year old knows what would be against thwe rules and frowned upon. However, I have seen some names that were banned, where the creator obviously wasn't trying to do any harm. One example was this one guy named "Santa Claus(random #'s)". He got banned. Jagex was obviously thinking that people who do not celebrate christmas would get offended.I must say, if you get offended by a generous guy who donates his life to making people happy just because you don't beleive in him then you must have the emotional capacity of a thimble. I havn't logged on for a few days and after seeing this I am worried that my account may be banned. Why? Well let's check it out. My account name is "Icklefudge" Nickname is "Ickle" "Ickle" sounds like "Sickle" wich is a coin in harry potter. Harry potter portrays witches in a good light which is against some religons.....There you go Now I could ramble on and on, but my point amongst all thease ramblings is that Jagex should only ban accounts with the most blatent names.

The spear has a lot of use in CW. During CW a strategy is to have a spear user standing on the last staircase to knock a flag runner back to give the barragers time to barrage.

I chose my name because I just thought it sounded good. Plus It had lots of good nicknames involved. Friends call me Ick. Icky, Ickle and Fudge. Plus it sounds good and has no numbers involved...Icklefudge

This is what i do-If they would ever drop something I would really want, and they died fairly then yes, i would keep. If the drops are something i dont really care about then no, i would return if i hadt he guys screanname. I would never EVER close doors on people, i dont care if its a blue partyhat. No lie i just wouldnt. EVER

Thanks for your support everyone! And yes what I am doing to begin with is cutting magics with an addy axe lol. Ive cut about 50. Heres how I am doign so far: 100k cash 50 magics So thats 150k-enough to replace some of my less expensive items :D And that rune pl8 would really help. UPDATE: I did a treasure trails today, lvl 1. ZAMMY CLOAK BOTTOM BABEE!!! Thats 450k![/b] I logged back in. Today to find myself standing in varrok...wearing nothing. I began to panic as I hurried to the closest bank. With shaking hands I typed in my pin, only to find my worst fears had been confirmed: hacked! I felt like quitting...ALL my work gone. I had no way to start over either. They took everything from my abyssal whip, down to my climbing boots. As i searched through the rubble of my once respectable bank I saw an axe. Adamant. It to me looked like a beacon of hope. So on to my goal. I wish to replace all the important things that I have lost. Donations are accapted with thanks. Well i tried this somewhere else. When you are walking from dreynor to fally there is a yew with a huge amount of autoers. I tried setting up logs up to the cabbage patch directly north of it and no one followed. :? Im not doubting you, im just saying that meybe the autoers have "updated"? or meybe my spot is just not good :oops: Ill try your spot in a bit... if i ever finish my homework :wall: :wall:
