  1. Mine is a draconic visage. Got it from a black dragon on my first kill of a slayer task. I thought I was seeing things.
  2. You can still get a cornucopia from random birds around runescape, so perhaps if you find one you'll also get the emote.
  3. Fremmy: Thorak (not very female is it?) Tzhaar: Ket
  4. Drop rates in general do not necessarily pertain to everyone. How many you can kill per hour will then determine your drop rate per hour. Not everyone has the same rate of kill. Which makes them not too incredibly great, now doesn't it. They don't drop that many runes at a time, mostly 1-5. In the same vein, they don't drop that many pure essence-23 at a time and not as often as random runes. 2 d boots per hour is the rate if you're lucky. In my last task I got 1 pair of boots. A drop rate is far from a promise, it's an average. Thus there is nothing that definitively says you'll get X number of boots per hour. Same for whips. You seem to take a drop rate as fact and absolute truth. It's neither. It's a guideline and a resounding "maybe".
  5. I'd be fine if trades became GE only, but I can see where people are coming from when they say that to take away player to player trading would take something away from the game. I think the issue is junk trading, and that eliminating that would be best. However, I'm not sure how that could effectively be done unless trades were made GE only.
  6. I like the GE. I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'd rather see normal trading go poof to eliminate junk trades and the like, and make all trades GE only.
  7. If you're lucky. I have had tasks with 0 boots and tasks with 6. It all depends. Again, it's a matter of luck. I've had tasks with 0 decent drops and have gotten 3 whips in one task. This depends on the individual and their stats as well as how crowded the area is. I wouldn't say a ton, but they at least drop them. This again depends on the individual. I can kill a mage in 2-4 hits, I can kill a demon in 4-5. If you factor everything together it's not that big a time difference. I'd disagree on this one. I have gone tasks with no boots as I've said and I've had tasks with many. I've had tasks with no whips, and tasks with 1-3. Other than boots, spiritual mages don't really drop anything of worth. They drop runes, uncuts, the occasional key half, pure essence, and clues. Demons drop rune items, coins, key halves, clues, dragon shield left half, and heads (which aren't worth anything but are pretty darn nifty) and that's all in addition to whips. I'd say demons are the better income over all per task and thus per hour. But that's just my personal experience.
  8. I like the DFS for the defensive and strength bonuses. Abyssal demons are a matter of luck, so they could be great money or not very good money. It all depends on how lucky you get. I wouldn't say chopping mages as even at 99 they're very slow and usually very crowded. Blue dragons would be best because you get bones and hides 100%. So if you bank both you'll make a good amount per kill and there's no luck involved. For slayer, I like using guthans because sometimes a unicorn is a waste and a bunyip doesn't cut it. That being said, I also find bandos armor to be quite good, though it obviously can't heal you if you're in a tight spot. I'd say use guthans or bandos...depends on whichever you really like better. Barrows has better defence, but bandos has the strength bonus. I'd also take into consideration repair costs. If you have good smithing and an armor stand, barrows really doesn't cost much to fix. As for weapon, I'd recommend the tried and true DFS + whip. I find godswords to be slow and thus not very good xp-wise. I find myself outkilling people with godswords a lot and I always use my DFS + whip.
  9. If you have 57 summ, using a spirit Kyatt and banking at Castle Wars is fastest. If not, running to Gu'ttanoth from Castle Wars and using a duel ring to bank or running up to Taverly and teleing back to Falador is fastest. Running from Piscatoris to the obelisk and back is closest if you don't have 57 summ. You have to have done Swan Song to enter the fishing colony. Of course your other option (aside from using Kyatt which requires 57 summ) is to use fairy rings to Piscatoris and back to Zanaris.
  10. Train slayer...it's the best members skill (not that I'm biased). You'll get your combat levels up, your slayer level up, and a ton of charms for summoning. You'll also get some pretty spiffy drops.
  11. Yeah, I get compliments on stuff, then I get asked questions about it. A lot of them the person could answer themself...and answering the same things over and over gets really annoying. People who follow you around are annoying too. Though it used to happen a lot more than it does now, people who follow me spamming me with "hi" or asking me if I want a bf (which is really pathetic, by the by) are just obnoxious. And of course when you ignore them they can't rationalize that maybe your public chat is off >.< Sometimes I just say hi, if I get complimented I give a generic ty and if someone asks if I want to be their gf I'd say "if you give me a phat" (before the trade limits and all)...sadly there were no takers :P
  12. I like the dds, obviously cause the claws are way overpriced. I also don't like that claws can't be poisoned. Either way, I'd only use them for specs and then switch to another weapon.
  13. I have done both quests...so I have 15 workers. For max seeds I keep them on full maple, half teak.
  14. It depends. If you need a certain task to be able to get to them, then yes you need to do the quest. For example, you won't get dark beasts assigned unless you've done ME2.
  15. Not procrastinating has saved me. I did WGS the day it came out and got 13m for my shard. I did the Fally Diary the day it came out and could use assist for the runecrafting airs.
  16. Sounds like a bug to me. You could try hopping and see if it's any different on another world. Either way I'd report a bug and specify what world you're on.
  17. Yup, that's what I mean. I use it to send stuff off to the bank and also hold things. I usually send off an inventory at a time...meaning using 28 scrolls in a row. Yes, that requires summoning potions.
  18. Make the best gold charm familiar you can. To conserve money, swap pouches at Bogrog in Gu'ttanoth. You'll get 70% of the shards you used to make the pouches back. The only thing is you need a few levels higher than the level needed to make the pouch to swap it. As for making money, you could mine ores or coal, you could herb farm, you could fish lobs, you could hunt chins...there's a bunch of options. You could also stick with combat. I'm a fan of camping at the tzhaar when you just feel like killing stuff for drops as obby stuff seems to have a pretty reasonable drop rate.
  19. Helm: Helm of Neitinotz or Slayer Helm Plate, Legs: Guthans Boots: Dragon Necklace: Fury Ring: Berserker Gloves: Barrows RFD Shield: Dragon Fire Shield Cape: Skill Cape (t) Weapon: Abyssal Whip
  20. I like both. When I get bored of killing, skilling is a nice change of pace and vice versa.
  21. I get irons quite a bit and don't mind them. Other than that I've been getting aberrant spectres often, which again I don't mind, and dark beasts have been a trend lately and those I welcome as tasks. Great xp.
  22. Before 95 I used geyser titans for general combat in multi areas and the chaos tunnels. Now I use iron titans. I use a pack yak at black dragons so I can camp my slayer tasks and will be using it to camp for 99 crafting and prayer as well as 99 mining. I don't use a wolpertinger often (even though they're adorable) as the titan hits higher. I use terrorbirds for clue scrolls and farming runs, ents for fruit trees. I use a unicorn for waterfiends and aberrant spectres, bunyips for other tasks in single way combat areas. I don't do much pvp of any kind, but I'd definitely use a phoenix if I did. I use Kyatts for pouching, graahks if I ever rc nature runes. I think I'm pretty traditional with my familiars...I find that the pack yak has the most variety of uses given that it holds 30 items and also banks 1 item at a time.
