Yea, raws are more expensive. All you do is buy raw lobs, cook them, and sell them to make some of the money back. Then you repeat the process. Was that what your were asking or was it something else, I didn't quite understand the question.

You can mine it either in Al Kharid or right outside the mining guild. Those are the only 2 places I know where gold is. You can always cut through the mining guild for quicker banking.

Yea, rock crabs are very good. They are north of seers where the Fremenik Trials quest starts. You probably don't need any food at all for them.
