so you believe that there is no plan for your life, but you don't choose what happens anyway? that's the same as saying that you believe in the plan. why? simple - you say that there is no choice in what you do in life. which means what's going to happen next has been pre-determined. whihc is the same thing as destiny planning your life. I'm confused. :? lol, erm not really, i dont bleieve destiny exists but i do believe my life has been in some sense pre determined. Its like i chose what i get to do as long as i chose plan a, b, c or d. so i have a tiny bit of choice... i dont belive in destiny its just an idiots way to sum up a lot of choices made nothing is predetermined, and you can neithier prove nor disprove it, but logic does dictate that it isnt. p.s. rebdragon can u please keep your posts less hostile, im not wageing a war against you i just dont agree with you. so you now believe in both? the pre-planned and the ability to choose what happens. you just believe them in slightly different ways that the average person would.

There is a thread in debate club called should f2p get updates? they gave me some starting ideas and i flowed up with a calculation. you can check if you like.

that'd be rediculous and unrealistic.... : the only thing ridiculous about that is the amount of computer space taken up. Though there is a limit to the items got. so i suppose that really there's nothing wrong with that idea. Though I have been worng before.

I've seen another thread which was "do f2p deserve updates?" it said that each f2p person pays around $1.8 every month, each. and going on from that, i said that around $4.7 is generated from every three people. and there is approximately 3 X as much f2p than p2p. Using this, f2p only pay around 30 cents less than p2p. and there's more f2p joining every day. which means that actually f2p generates nearly the same as p2p. it's just it's not such a wide known fact.

i don't think f2p needs any more bank space. but there is one situation which i believe should get the f2p more bank space. this is the situation which i was put through: 1) i became member. 2) after training for awhile i did a few quests. 3) got bored and cancelled my subsciption 4) i came back to find my bank full. 5) no problem, i take away all my members only stuff and dropped it. The result? STILL no bank space :evil: :wall: . if this happens i blieve it is ok for the f2p have more bank space. Of course, if this occurs, then everyone will become a member, get thousands of f2p stuff and shove it all in thier bank. ~idea summary~ when cancelling a subsciption from members, the amount of f2p stuff in the bank, is the new full bank number.

that's not what i meant. I meant that he was saying that all the newer players were young. I'm sure there must be older players (for rs, not rl. e.g 20+) strating on rs too. and i know that maturity is not an age thing. but many do. so i correct thier prejudicies. (age discrimination).

you said you forged your own destiny by your actions. but this is the same as controlling what occurs in thier life. You believe that you are the master of your destiny. therefore is the master of life. so your the same as the "destiny doesn't exist, they're the master of thier life" people.

hmm, that goes under the "parrellel timespace" idea. where every action you do has a different "timespace" (or timeline like you put it) where you did something different. (like timespace 1: flip a coin get a heads, and timespace2: flip a coin, you get tails). but this counter-acts the destiny idea, this is saying you have more than one destiny. whereas your destiny is singular. so i have to disagree with your idea i'm afraid.

We don't know our own destiny, that's why life's exciting. It's preplanned, but we don't know the plan. that's why life intrests us.

And had the idea of death being a force in fd 3. but i don't believe that. i agree with ian about it being a biological ending to life. But I much prefer the destiny theory. the idea, that a major force is guiding our every movements. shaping our future. examining the past. that we were born to do what the force wanted us to do. whether it was to die an early grave, or cure the common cold. But this being is far too powerful to comprehend. as it's power grows far beyond our imagination. there's no defying him. he knows what you're going to do, BEFORE you do it. So according to the destiny idea, we're all just puppets under it's eyes. forcing our every movement. unable to seek our own path. But there are those who disagree; as with all ideas. who believe we have free will to do what we like, and some god is whom created us. but I ask you this: why then were WE born? some other child, with different hopes and dreams, could have showed up instead of us. tehre must be a reason why we were chosen. and that is simple: destiny. No, i understood what you meant. it's just i disagreed with you. in rl you have amounts of ingrediants (lets use cooking for an example) in rs you don't. one bucket of water + 1 pot of flour probably doesn't get the right mixture in. and how is burning your fingers on a fire a good thing? somehow the rs community has an immunity to fire (except fire spells). we have to reach into the fire to get the food. sorry. rs does nothingto help rl skills. (except languages...)

meh, sometimes the randoms are ok. i recently got the frog princess random for the first time. however, in the short span of 10 minutes i saw 2 old men appearing. At the same place, (karamja fishing spots), THAT is OTT. lol, i've been wandering round draynor letely, i say two autoers getting killed by a drunken dwarf. Unlike others, they stay for a long time. so the autoer programs go back only to be attacked again by the dwarf.

but thats exaclty opposite of what jagex wants, each person who plays via miniclip or the main site is a potential member which means more money for jagex. so as long as there is money being made jagex will do nothing that would lower the player count, on purpose. the immature kids don't become members, they get bored in f2p.

1) there are more f2p than p2p, so the amount of f2p clicking on ads is probably just higher than the amount of p2p players paying $5. 2) so if they DIDN'T CLICK ON THE ADS then the ads won't pay. so really it is the same as f2p paying. although thier not using thier own money.

I think they should do rs for the more mature not older. I know some pretty twisted 13+, but there are loads of 12- players who act stupidly as well. basically, all jagex need to do is take off rs from miniclip. that way- a) no more kids would find out about rs. B) the kids that do play, get bored due to thier short-attenion spans and quit. the result? very few immature kids. Unfortunately, this won't eliminate the older immature people.

hmm. :-k I'm not too sure but I think i know. the 6/6/6 mass killing was a bug. probably the most feared bug by noobs. why? it allowed you to kill players OUTSIDE the wildy. i think it was only on one world. But it's all over know. Unless you were talking about the anti-crist... :anxious:

Im brazilian and learned english in games : And RS is educational because you can choose your profession from here example:Cooking=Cooker; Herblorer=Cientist; Fishing=Fisherman you get the pic it doesn't teach you your proffession. it's a game. the characters are programmed to be able to do things at a certain level. do we have level is rl? no. rs has no influence over your proffession. (unless you want to work for jagex... :uhh: )

correction, we don't have any good ideas on how o prevent it. Something called increase the number of randoms appearing, which follow you for longer than they do know. The problem with this is that almost everyone hates randoms. as they are the most annoying things ever. But sometimes even the pain can cause the solution. Unfortunately now, autoers flee from them. so perhaps change it so that some of them freeze you for a few moments. idk. *sighs* if only J-mods would come out a bit more. :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k wait a second. wasn't this thread based on the fact that jagex is not responding to the autoers?

The last thing we need is a stupid rule like no begging. I'd much rather see the game improve content wise for everyone, instead of make a rule that only affects the few scumbags that beg. People will eventually stop begging and if they don't maybe sometime in the future Jagex should add such a rule. Just like real life, there is no law about "begging" but it could be something more along the lines of soliciting. begging won't end. as long as there are newbs looking for money then there will always be beggars. the community is not going to improve, just get worse. and beggars will become more common. and the poroblem is, even if the rule was put into action, to many people would mistake asking favours, for begging. For the same reason as above- the community is getting worse. NOT better.
