  1. Note: I took away the example as otherwise this post would be too long. Thank you. He never said it helped all. He said it helped most. Most people do secondary skills. Suck as cooking and fletching. Autoers fish the fish that you cook, and chop the tree's which you fletch. (the logs produced anyway). Those then have successful businesses selling thier products. Meaning the autoers helped them make some more money.
  2. ~ Chapter 10, The First to Fight - part 4 ~ The cracks spead up his body. During this breaking, he grew in size. He stopped when he was twice as tall as dervish, muscles shown through the strained fibre of his clothes. He tore his clothes off, feeling uncomfortable in them. Midna looked away. Not wanting to see what was happening to him. Wildheart comforted her. He was cracked all over, and his necklace melted into his skin through the holes. His hair, eyes and mouth all became green. His hair wriggled freely like a hoard of worms. Trying to break away from the skin. Then, green vines, similer to the worms, broke the surface of his skin. And wrapped around him. Parting for the ears, mouth and eyes. All else became covered with layers of this plant. His fingers became evenly spead out across a circular palm. No bones within them. Just muscles. A boneless group of the plants stuck out from his back. Twisting and wrapping around itself. Until it was triangular in appearance. With more vines sticking out the edges. Forming wings. His feet were the only signs of a human past. the foot itself was green. But it had bones sticking out of the vines. Forming nails. These were a different shade of green. They were lighter than the plants. The eyes changed also. The whites changed to green. The centre, pitch black. Giving him an evil appearance. He screeched. Letting out a sound similar to an eagles call with a mouse's squeak. It showed his teeth. Which were still white, but all canines. But much sharper than a human's canine. "Is this the true form of Zamorak?" The beast before them said. Proving that it was of human origin, no matter how inhumane it's appearance was. "No, Zamorak was a beast of blood. Red is his colour. But then, what am I?" Zamorak answered from above. You have a balanced soul Gawain, no matter how much you try to elude this truth. But a balanced mind gives you a balanced soul. So instead of absorbing mine or Saradomin's soul. You absorbed a part of both. You are my brother, Guthix.
  3. ~ Chapter 10, The First to Fight - part 3 ~ "I can't stop that, but I can stop it killing me! Feet mergig stone!" Gawain gasped, desperately trying to draw in some of the rushing air around him. His feet suddenly sunk into the ground. Stopping him from flying off. Petra did the same. Darunia, however, was weary. "I don't know the spell!" He told Petra, who replied by telling him to say the words Gawain had said. "Ok then. Mergig stone!" Petra gasped. Darunia sunk into the ground. But not just his feet, his entire body drowned in soil. Unable to stop the spell which he had caused upon himself. He had killed himself. He was absorbed by the Earth. A tear ran down Petra's face. Gawain, however, remained as optimistic as ever. "Then there was one!" He shrieked to Petra. "Of course, this is the end for you as well." Charles sensed the flames strengthen. While Petra's weakened. "I can't hold it." She turned to the group. "Goodbye, see you in the afterlife." Her flames receeded, but Gawains proceeded. Towards her defenceless body. She screamed. The last anyone ever heard of from her. The flames stopped, and the tornado died away. Gawain brock away from the earth. Feet intact. "Well, that was easy." He gloated. "How weak they turned out to be. Hah! I expected more from my family." He cursed and fell to the ground. Screaming in agony. Clutching his right arm. Weeping uncontrollably. in all his pain, he managed to force out a laugh. With some words. "Heh! Your in time to see my transformation! Gods aren't human in appearance. I'm about to become something else. Though what, I'm not so sure of." He coughed, blood spewing from his mouth. He stood, shaking heavily. Unable to control his body. Charles noticed something. His right arm appeared to be the one in pain; and for a good reason. It was cracked.
  4. ~ Chapter 10, The First to Fight - part 2 ~ The battle was long and tiresome. Both sides showing no sides of weakening. But Gawain was obviously far stronger that Darunia and Petra, as they struggled to hit him. Petra attacked. "Infernag! She screamed, running towards him. Her staff burst out flames, rushing towards Gawain's body. Too quick to dodge. But not to quick to block. "Infernag!! Came a voice behind the flames. Seconds later, a green flash occured and Petra's bea of fire was met by another one. During this time, Darunia reacted and attacked Gawain. Now helpless. "Aerktic blast!"Darunia cried. Sending a sharp [bleep]e made from ice towards Gawain. If he stopped to defend Darunia's attack. He'd burn to death. If Gawain ignored the ice, he would be impaled. Gawain was trapped. Or so they thought, but Gawain had powers far beyond anyone there. He lifted his free hand and muttered something under his breath. Seconds later, a green ball of energy erupted from his palm. Hitting and destroying the ice. "Keep going!" Petra encouraged Darunia. "I can last out. He should run out of power quickly if we attack together. Now go!" Darunia nodded. Then proceded. "Tornag!" He shouted. Then the wind picked up, blowing towards Gawain. Charles and the group watched in horror at what darunia had created. It was a tornado. Blowing right at them. Gawain turned around and saw the beast. It engulfed everthing it encoutered. Demolishing it. The wind circuling around it broke the ruins apart. Sending bits of stone and wood flying around. Gawain cursed. "I can't stop that!"
  5. ~ Chapter 10, The First to Fight - part 1 ~ "So how are you then? Any problems with your Varrock?" Gawain boasted. "Notice any Zamorak mages roaming the streets? Eh? Hmmm?" He bursts out laughing again. Most of them lost thier nerve from this laughter, but Dervish remained calm. "Yes, we've seen the." He said confidently. Gawain stops laughing a raises an eyebrow. Confused that his pyscological technique failed. "But the silver knights are in combat with them. Most of them will be dead by the time you return. If you return that it." "What do you mean if?" Gawain asks. He's floating in midair, but descending gradually. So that he can hear Dervish's words clearly. "Are you not here to join me? No, wait. You join me?" He starts laughing again. "Stand down and retreat from Varrock. That way you will live." Dervish commands Gawain, challenging him. " There are many of us. But only one of you. You can not beat us all." "Like I'd ever pass the chance to conquer the most powerful town in all the land. This is my chance. Besides, I'm now a god. You and my fellow mages mean nothing to me anymore. You are weak. If they die, so be it." "You'd sacrifice your followers that easily?" Charles asked, joining in the conversation. "It would be easier to conquer the lands if you had an army instead on one man. Would't it?" "A god can easily crush an army. I have freed Zamorak. I am Zamorak. You will be crushed like an ant. Even Saradomin would fail against me now!" He cackles rabidly. "Then you must be fought." Petra said, regretting her words. "I must fight you. Maybe I can snap some sense into you my love." She drew her staff, almost identical to Gawain's. But he had a new staff. Coloured green. Magic overflowing from the woodwork. "I shall join you. Prepare brother!" Darunia said. "You will face the full wrath of our family!" He and Petra charged forward, readying thier staffs. Gawain's green staff. Petra's red staff, and Darunia's Blue staff. The battle began.
  6. ~ Chapter 9, Family warfare - part 3 ~ Rita was more beautiful than her mother. She had long brown hair. Which seemed to shine the sunlight from above. She had kind blue eyes and had a gentle smile. I bet Dervish likes her already. Who knew that his personal life would be this fun? I haven't had this much enjoyment for years. Charles laughed. But Dervish shut him up quickly. Reading his mind. She used a bow, with silver arrows, much like her mother's. Except she seemed much more skilled with it than Lucia did. "Mum, We need you as reinforcements. the Zamorak warriors have overwhelmed us." "Really?" Lucia replied. "They are that strong?" She looked at Talo, who was searching the bodies for anything of interest. He looked up and nodded. "Many of our people have died. the white knights of Falador have been attacked by Barbarians. So no reinforcements are going to come. It's a lost cause. We need you." "Oh, well. I'd have to ask Dervish first. He's in charge of the group. "It's fine with us." Charles gawped at him. amazed at what he just said. "We have plenty of attack strength here at the moment. We'll be fine without you." No we won't. Charles disagreed. Not daring to speak aloud. all we have in the way of skill is Petra and Darunia. We're not meant for combat, half of our strength lied with lucia. But without her... Charles gulped. Lucia walked away. Leaving the group. The rest of the walk to Edgevile was fine. No problems whatsoever now that Lucia was in combat with the warriors. As they approached the ruins. Dervish halted them, turned and made a speech. "Alright, there's our destination." Dervish points at The ruins ahead. "If any of you want to leave now. You may. We will not think any less of you. After all, this is Edgeville." He looked around. No one left. "Very well, let us fight this day! Let's make Gawain suffer!" The group marched on. They entered the ruins. Keeping guard of the wrecked buildings which surrounded them, examining the details of the carnage. Making sure Gawain was not watching them in the shadows. "Welcome to my Domain... friends." Laughter broke the following silence of the greeting. It was Gawain.
  7. ~ Chapter 9, Family warfare - part 2 ~ The mages ran out, staff at the ready. Aiming at the group. Ready to kill all of them. Without hesitation. "Oh no you don't Silvak Lightag!" A man came up behing them and a bolt of lightning erupted from the sky. Hitting the leading mage directly. The lighting, however, was silver and did not end until the man lowered his staff. Charles, Dervish and Lucia recognised him as "Talo!" they said in union. The man raised a hand, but prepared to battle with the last mage. "Silvak Infernag!" Talo roared. Immeadiately, flames burst out of his silver staff. Setting the mage on fire. Screaming as the silver flames engulfed his body. Which slowly melted under the heat. "Ah... Silver knight magic. Works like a charm." Talo grinned and greeted the group. Who replied, except for Dervish, who was examining the staff He held in his hand. It's top was a silver orb. Surrounded by a golden dragon head. Whcih was connected to a large wooden pole. It appeared to be made from Yew. The orb floated in the centre of the dragons jaws. Held up by nothing. He would have examined it more. But Talo continued to speak. "Hello miss melee." Talo spoke casually to Lucia. To the point of even insulting her. " i thought you would be still killing all the beast in the forest. After all you do have the slowest weapon of them all." Lucia tried to make a comeback but Talo continued. Showing no affection towards her feelings. "I can image you speaking to a mirror." Talo joked. " Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who's the slowest of them all?" He laughed. "The mirror will reply It is you whom is the slowest throughout the lands." he laughed again. "Sorry sis." He apologised. Soon after Lucia's face was red with embaressment. "I haven't seen you in ages. I needed to say things like that. That's what I'm here for." Lucia sighed, but looked up at the next voice who spoke. "Hello Mum." It was Rita. " I've missed you."
  8. ~ Chapter 9, Family warfare - part 1 ~ The goblin forests were quiet on thier journey. They allowed the group to pass safely. Without any problems. One or two prepared weapons, but none erupted from the sea of trees to attack. They were either scared of thier sheer numbers. Scared of thier skill, of scared of thier destiny. Either way, this fear prevented and casualties early on. Even the bears and giant rats left them alone. "Dervish, we are heading to Edgeville right?" Charles asked curiously. With a tint of fear in his tone. "Yes." Dervish replied calmly. "I protested against it, but it is there where the gods fought previously. I suppose he believes he will absorb Zamoraks soul uickly there. With the essence of his power lying around. "Really? I wouldn't have thought that." Lucia said behind them. "I thought he was an utterly insane man. Craving destruction. Making Edgeville, the city of the dead, an expected choice. But it seems that he knows of legends and history more than we do. We're at a disadvantage." Dervish laughed. Darunia cut of his laughter however. "We were at a disadvantage from the start. The ruins will force us to split up to move around in a mobile way." He explained. "He can ambush us while we're split up. Without some or most of our attack power. We would have been in a better situation with a smaller, more experienced group. No offence to You, Midna and Wildheart of course." "Not at all, Darunia." Wildheart assured him. "We expected comments like that. We are simple village folk. We're not strong. Dervish is the only one with strength. But he doesn't come from Lumbridge." "All we had to deal with back home was goblins. We were in quite a pickle one time." Midna continued for Wildheart. "Plague season struck again. They almost always bother us then. bUt that's all over now." "Focus now everyone, we're entering the southern side of the town. this part is under Zamorakian control. I can assure you, however. I've ordered my fellow silver knights to take up arms with them. Hopefully, they are all too busy fighting to notice us." Luica exclaimed. "Clear the way!" A shout erupted from in front of the group. "Zamorak mages have escaped us. Watch out!"
  9. NO In thirty days players won't get the experience from the game they need. An mmorpg is supposed to last for a longer time than that. If they discovered everything they needed to know about rs in 30 days, I doubt they would really play. Many can't play for very long. Lets say 1 person can only play for 1 hour a day on rs. He goes on rs 5 times a week- monday to friday. Lets say month began on the monday. It had only 30 days in it. 22 hours of gameplay is all he'll get. If you see all of the mmorpg in that amount of time, it's not a good game. So he won't play it again. free to play should last. It is the advertising aspect of runescape. Without it, many less members would join. Those who quit won't be replaced. Causing an eventual downfall of runescape. You want that to happen? NO? Good. Children would just make another account afterwards. So it doesn't really do much for rs at all.
  10. I think it's just a coincedence. It just doesn't seem to be a power. lol  , my friend said something similar to why the 9/11 happened. according to him. The 9/11 happened because in America to call the emergency services you need to call 911. So I asked him if when it's the ninth of semptember something will happen to England as well. Of course, we don't know what year.
  11. I think the pub owners have to tell them to stop smoking. If: a) the smoker refuses to stop smoking. I think he will recieve a fine. B) If the bar owner is not telling him to stop, he will get a fine. I think that's how it works. Either way, if one doesn't do the right thing. they get a fine. I highly doubt that is how it works because that's just a guess. I doubt they will really put someone in jail because they smoked. how dare you damage my health, it's selfish to kill yourself that way. I highly advise not smoking. But err.. :-k .. You can do what you like. You do have the right to smoke since it's not legal.
  12. hehe, yes i am a hypocrit when it comes to these types of threads. But you can't exactly say I'm wrong right? If we did all these things then we would have a much less selfish lifestyle. Unfortunately, I am human. Thus i am selfish. But i do help. My family and i have put in energy saving lightbulbs, Which don't run until we need them. But then, we usually use lamps. Which take up less energy. We also don't usually fly. Our last aeroplane trip was about 5 years ago. I also evade electricity using rides such as rollercoasters etc. I've never been a big fan of them (especially after final destination 3  ). I do my bit. I should do more. BUt I do my bit. Everyone should. Even if it is just a little bit. Human instincts I'm afraid. Why wasn't I born a meerkat? I'll never know -.-. actually those closer to the equator is dead. Why? because there, the heat would be un bearable when global warming reaches a climax. I think that there should be a way to have comfortable lives without polluting the world. There is a solution. But it has high costs. Unfortuntely. No one would do it because of prices. Even those who can do it, won't. Because they are slefish. My family has not got enought money to help with these solutions. We're not the richest family ever, nor are we the poorest. Solutions include: a) Solar panels. These cost a lot. B) Wind farms. c) electric cars. electricity recieved from solar or wind power. d) Less flights. e) If you can't get electric cars then: i) Take the bus. Which carries more people for a similar amount of pollution. ii) Walk or cycle to your destination. Also good for your health and fitness. If only we did more of those things.
  13. It's just my opinion, but life is too short to live so cautiously. My dad is kind of like you for the most part. I've played with knives, fire, drank coffee/tea/soda, eaten as much as I wanted to since I was young. I feel being too cautious shelters you from reality. Have fun while you're young. Today could be the last day of your life, why waste it? Sometimes being cautious is a good thing. Think about it. If your not cautious sometimes then tomorow could be the last day of your life. BUt if you were cautious sometimes, then it would be better for you. As you will live for longer. i'm not a cautious freak. I personally see no need in drinking alcohole. I've heard caffein can be just as fun. And like I said, I'm too impatiant to wait for a kettle to boil. Alcohole can kill so many. But caffein is not as disastrous. (when driving anyway.). I'm hyper, so really i don't need caffein at all. I'm a child at heart. My responses don't reflect that. So with caffein I'm probably as good in a party as someone ese who's drinking alcohol. Except I can actually focus on one spot. NOt like when you are drunk.

    Smoking

NOTE: This topic is not about smoking drugs etc. Please leave that out out this topic. Smoking. Smoking has been around for decades. Mankind loves to smoke. Almost every corner I find people smoking. It's kind of disgusting. But before i go on. I'll explain some of the well known pros and cons: Pros - It helps relieve stress. - May make you appear cool by being unafraid of such dangers caused by smoking. - Gives you something to do. (the last point is true, but not why people smoke.(usually)) Cons - It can cause cancer. - It can cause heart diseases. - it damages your senses of smell and taste. - You can get addicted easily. - It damages the health of others around you. - people *may* try to avoid you. (the last point is what I would do, personally.) (more pros would be appreciated). I dislike the idea of smoking and don't plan to ever smoke. I think of it as a disgusting and selfish habit. After finishing your cigarette (<- sp?) you breath out the gas for up to one hour later. So anyone you encounter in that hour would be breathing in the gas. So even if they don't smoke, the effects of smoking may happen to them. Sure, if small amounts are breathed in this way. It would not really affect them. But coming in daily contact with smokers is a different story. As all the gas will build up in your lungs, some forming tar. Other gas particles would be breathed out again. But the effects can still happen to you. It all adds up in the end. Many will argue that those who get addicted can't stop. They can. They should get nicotine patches and use them for a while. Keep reminding yourself what life would be like without smoking. And why it would be better for you. And, if those techniques don't work. Putting a cigarette in your mouth but not lighting it can help. Personally, I'm overjoyed with the new public places smoking ban. This should help the recovery of many second hand smokers, who've had to put up with the smokers. This will make more of the population healthier. Cleaner probably as well. But i would love to see a ban of smoking everywhere. Smoke doesn't go up straight away. It follows the wind for a period of time, then slowly lifts up. All who are in the path of the smoke will breath it in. So second hand smoking will never be erased until smoking is illegal. And after that many will smoke it after the ban. That's what I think, what about you?
  15. I like the idea. It's just got to many flaws with it for it to become a reality.
  16. STOP there! 1) WE ARE A PART OF NATURE!. By doing those things you are killing off: a) Yourself. B) other people c) other animals and plants on the planet. d) and the generations to come. Nature before humans. I'd rather save all of nature, not just us. 2)You think that we have to pollute to survive? Or we have to pollute to survive comfortably? Either way is selfish and wrong. We don't have to pollute. By polluting all your doing is destroying this planet,. Which is what your living on. so yes i would like you to stop driving cars, don't turn the heating on in winter, turn the lightbulbs off. Light some candles or something. Oh and one more thing - we make our own energy for our bodies to live.

But they have fur... :-w . Not every popular pet has fur. What about the snake, it has scales. Not fur. besides, if the dogs big enough and he is male. Then his penis is usually visible. What about farmers? They work all day with pets like cows.
  18. ~ Chapter 8, recruiting the villagers - part 3 ~ After entering the general store. Dervish made an examination of the room. Checking if all were here. "Ok, I'll get to the point. i am here talking to you about Gawain. The man whom attacked our village and left the village devastated at the loss of Oscar." "He has risen against varrock and has taken control over half of it. There he has positioned his followers, told to kill any who show resistance in any way." Dervish slammed the table with his fist. Shocking those around him. "I'm sorry my husband has been a bother to you and this village." Petra said quickly. Trying to prevent hatred of Gawain forming in thier minds. "He has been plagued by many problems of recent years. This has driven him to madness. I -" "Don't worry Petra, we do not despise him. However, action must be taken." Petra looked up, horrified at what she just heard. "I'm here to recruit volunteers to fight against him. He must be stopped." Dervish looked around, willing for volunteers. "You do not have to fight. But it would be appreciated by varrock if you did so." Charles assured them. Wildheart stood up. Then imitated a pirate by saying "Aye!" "Yes" Midna said. Holding up her bow and quiver. Which was filled with arrows. "Count me in!" Lucia said behind then. A smile on her face. Petra and Darunia looked at each other and said simultaneously "I'll go." Dervish smiled. "It appears we have a chance of winning after all. Lets not waste it. Geoffrey! Take some herbs to Bastian in Varrock, we need potions and fast!" Geoffrey nodded, and began to leave before Dervish stopped him. "Oh and Geoffrey, don't take as long this time. Ok?" "Ok." "Good, now everyone else, let's go to Edgeville to meet with Gawain!" Dervish cried out. Charles looked on. Petrified at what he just heard. Edgeville? The land of the dead? We are going there?"
  19. ~ Chapter 8, recruiting the villagers - part 2 ~ The argument never ceased until Dervish and Lucia arrived at Lumbridge. "Oh I'm sorry Dervish!" Lucia said in a mocking way. Not caring about what others around her might now think of her. " I'm just a pompous idiot. I'm too stupid too understand what you're saying!" Dervish sighs and gives up. "Oi! Midna; could you gather the others around the general store. I have an important announcement to make to them. Something that they won't like. But Thay'll have to grin and bear it." Midna nodded, then paused before leaving. "Um... May I know of what this announcement is first?" Dervish shook his head. "Oh, may i at least know why she's still with you?" "All in good time Midna. Everything will become clear when I explain." Midna still held a look of curiousity on her face. "Now go." Dervish commanded. Midna reluctantly left, walking towards the church where Wildheart was speaking to Geoffrey. Someone called behind them. Charles turned around to spot Petra and Darunia crossing the river. "Hello, word was sent from the Duke. We were told to come here. I suppose you got the same message?" Petra cocked an eyebrow questioningly at Lucia. "Yes, but for another purpose." Lucia smiled again. "I was told to escort these two here. Apparently here is where i'd get my next mission. That's all i was told." "Well it seems neither of us knows what this 'mission' is. We were never told why we were sent here either." Darunia explained. "Why, I was preparing my warriors like I was told to by he King. Then I recieved word from him to come here. "The same here, the Duke must have changed his mind. But i suppose you two know of this mission?" Petra asked Dervish and Charles. " Otherwise, I see no reason why they are so important. ermm... no offence of course." "Do not worry, we do not take offence to such things." Charles assured them. "But i wil explain the mission to you as soon as my fellow villagers are assembled." Midna arrived at that time. "They are waiting for you in the Store, Dervish." She left without another word, running towards the general store. Where Geoffrey stood waiting outside. "Well then." Dervish turned to the others. "Let us begin recruiting then." He followed Midna at the shop. Beckoning the others to join him.
  20. ~ Chapter 8, recruiting the villagers - part 1 ~ The journey back of Lumbridge was a short but harsh one for Charles and Dervish. They ran into the creatures which Lucia had warned them about. Lucia was with them, but found the journey to be a thorn of annoyance. Rather than a river of suffering. She killed the bears and giant rats with ease. Ripping the guts from thier bodies, she claimed them as trophies. Too casual for a noble women. still I suppose Dervish would like her that way. Charles thought, turning to Dervish. Who was watching Lucia slay the beasts. A look of admiration in his eye. Didn't take him long to fall for someone. Charles laughed at this thought. Breaking Dervish's attention. Daydreaming about her I see. Charles snikered and continued, as Lucia finished her work. Dervish clapped his hands. Applauding Lucia's victory. "Good fight." Dervish smiled, "You are skilled with the sword for a noble women. I'm impressed." Charles laughed again. "What?" "You didn't always think of those of noble standard that way did you?" Dervish looked at Charles, his eyes begging him to stop talking. "Lucia, you should take that comment very well. The things he used to say of noble women and men." Chalres shaked his head with joy. Dervish began to interrupt, but Lucia beat him to the punch. "Oh really?" Lucia said, a smile emerged over her face. She glanced at Dervish. "What did Dervish say about noble men and women?" Dervish put his head in his hands at what Charles had to say next. "Well, Lucia. He called all noblemen and women 'pompous idiots!' Back in the days he was a tramp." Lucia's smile vanished and she turned on Dervish. "You used to think of my clan and me like that?" She said, appalled at what she just heard. "We really were thought of by people like that." She let off a cry of disgust and wlaked to Lumbridge quickly. "No, not you!" Dervish shouted at her. He grimaced, then faced Charles. "I'll deal with you later." At that he turned at ran off towards her. "I'm so scared." Charles said. He grinned like a child and laughed. He continued warning. Not paying any attention to Dervish's threat.

[removed excessive amount of quotes, don't do it again - Phil] Meh, that chain of replies started with: "College guys are going to go in a room full of naked, good looking chicks for the sole purpose of just feeling free, that there naked themselves? You're kidding me! I was replying to that post. Not was before it. You stated that the guys went in for sexual purposes. We argued against that. I understand your points. So don't call me stupid OR a child. edit: whoops. #-o :wall:
  22. Spot on. Hence why the title is kind of wrong; It's not a matter of facts. I know that. I was asking you whether you believed it was real or not. If you believe it is real. You would think of it as true. Or a fact. But remember, just because they only believe that it exists. Instead of knowing it exists. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Those who believe in destiny will not have any evidence on the subject. BUt that does not mean destiny is not real.
  23. That proves nothing. The earth's climate exists in a fairly delicate "steady state." Generally that the amount of anything going in is equal to that coming out. For example all of the animals on earth respiring may be balanced by the photosynthesis in plants. The fact is humans may have pushed this out of balance, hence the warming. Bear in mind that those 3 volcanoes have produced a shed load of Carbon Dioxide, but we have produced a shed load more on top. Like others have said, CO2 isn't the most lethal greenhouse gas anyway I think global warming is our fault and my opinion is that we should moderate our lifestyles whether we believe it is our fault or not. We will run out of fossil fuels in the next 100 years and we will drive animals and plants to extinction at this rate. Surely turning off a light, walking to school, switching to low energy bulbs, double glazing your windows is all worth it even if it's not our fault the world's getting warmer. The same remedy to two problems. No, don't make assumptions before it actually happens, typical liberal. Scientists say "Omg were gona die in 80 years humans r so baaaad" but what do you think could happen in 80 years. Think about it/ Fossil Fuel burning rates are going down, and we're starting to use more effishient (sp whatever) energy devices, such as hydro, solar, etc. I also had the idea of sound wave energy, that probably could work. Convert sound waves to energy mebbe? There's always sound waves and there will never be no soundwave. darkforaster, You say when humans breathe we release water vapour. That is natural. What do you want us to do, stop breathing? Well, Mr. I know it all, feel free to stop breathing anytime. I was just saying that we release water vapour when we breath. There is no solution to it, you feel that humans have done nothing wrong. But we're the main culprits. I have explained why. 80 years eh? I think I've previously mentioned 2080, the boiling year. By that time we humans would think 2003 is a cold year. THAT'S how hot it is. Scientists base thier predictions on facts and scientific evidence. Don't insult them. There smarter than you'll ever be. You've been questioning our ages. So I'm going to question yours. How old are you? because from your posts I can't see any maturity there.
  24. bump? What's happened here then? Loss of things to say?
