from tip.it's Treasure Trails Guide Does the ring of wealth help with clues? We have confirmed this with Jagex, and the Ring of Wealth does not make the drop rate of clues from monsters any higher, and it does not help you on the reward you receive when doing a Treasure Trail. The Ring of Wealth only increases the chances you'll get a better/rarer drop from the monsters you're killing.

I just got it tellying out of Taverly Dungeon with almost full inventory after being there for a few hours. Got the helmet also. Newbie tip: The signs above the mats tell you what exercise you will do on that mat.

You only have to start the Legends Quest, but in order to start it there are a lot of other quests that have to be completed. Check tip.it's Quest Help for a list.

Yes, you have to have started the Legends Quest to get there. There are 3 separate locations within that jungle that I get almost every level 3 clue scroll I get. If you can't start Legends Quest I would drop the clue and stick with Level-2s until you can at least start the Legends Quest. The Watchtower quest is another one for level-3 clue scrolls.

Please note that in Britain, the first floor is the floor ABOVE the ground floor. Yes you'll have to get another clue scroll. Here's a technique I use. Only carry the minimum number of things required when doing a clue in the wilderness. A slashing type weapon. Some form of teleport. I use Amy of Glory. Works up to level 30. Your clue scroll, spade, sextant, watch and chart. If you are going to die, drop the spade and sextant, watch and chart until you only have 3 things with you. 4 if you have protect item prayer. That way if you die you will still have your clue scroll.

Patience is what you need. It's completely random. Consider yourself lucky. I've done hundreds of level 3 clue scrolls and I would gladly trade any treasure trial reward I've gotten for one of those.

Most likely. Make sure to bring food, anti-poison and tele runes if you are new to that area. Even at 60 agility I fail traps sometimes.

Something to consider. What about the Ardougne Teleport. It maybe closer to an alter. It's across from the store. Also it takes only two types of runes where Lumbridge takes three. Also two banks are close to the alter. Excellent guide though.

Yes, you have to at least started the legends quest (which requires you completed a lot of other quests). See tip.it's Legends Quest guide on how to enter that jungle. Almost every one of my level 3 treasure trials has at least 1 trip there. Sometimes 2 digs there. Watch out for that Sara Wizard!

Boy, I get alot of clues from those. One time I got a clue on the sixth Blue Dragon after finishing the previous clue. All I can say is be patient.

Yes, I've done the al kharid duel arena clue a lot of times. Just get someone to duel you and select obstacles. Use tip.it's treasure trail co-ordinates locater to show you the spot. It's in the SW part inside of a wall. Make sure your dueling partner knows you want to do the clue first. I usually let them kill me after just to say thanks.

You also can get level 3 locations in the Ogre City that you have to done the Watchtower quest for.

Definitely. I finished one level 3 treasure trail, started ranging Blue Dragons and got another clue within 6 of them. Did that treasure trail also. When I used to get alot of level 1s from Al-Kharid guards i think I got and finished 3 in one day.

Yes. I do alot of level 3 clue scrolls and I average about 6-8 lame rewards to 1 good one.

I've done 100s of clue scrolls and it seems random. Sometimes I have to kill 200 Blue Dragons to get a clue scroll, sometimes I kill 6 and get a new clue scroll. I never had good luck with guards for level 2 clue scrolls. Try cockatrices or pyrefiends if you can. For level 1 clues try HAMs or Al-Kahrid warriors. I haven't seen any benefit to wearing a ring of wealth.
