Went around Newcastle yesterday doing some shots. Only problem for me is getting a good theme to work with, not just the usual generic "good landscapes" like a cliff, or a beach. I wanna do some of a Parkour group but it'd be weird saying "Hi, just wondering if I could photograph you guys today for a portfolio Im working on?"

Re-installing Windows XP on parents computer as its gotten to the point where the Hard drive was cluster [bleep]ed, to top things off, gotta convert my USB stick for it because Windows XP SP3 doesnt fit on a standard 700MB disc. :< (It's also cracked, cbf installing SP1 with key, then DL and do 2, then DL and do 3)

Lol reminds me of an article i read in a skating zine a few years back regarding mohawks. Your situation kind of falls into the "I'm allowed to wear my hair in a mohawk as long as my mom thinks it looks neat." Anyway i don't think parents should encourage/allow their children to break the law. My parents are the same, except they did say before "you can grow your hair if you keep it neat", next week they turn around "yeah we're snipping it". face wise, I ONLY look good after I've only just had a haircut for my mohawk, or when my hair reaches under my eyes. Those have been the only times where it doesn't look like a fluffy mess. @Nom, I'd like to try it one day, 'cept my parents would kick me out (as there is a baby living here) and im a little too scared to waltz the streets looking for a seller in case i'm busted for "sheer curiosity"

Happy birthday. I turned 18 a few days ago (on the 19th). I went to walmart on my birthday to buy some chewing tobacco. I handed the cashier my drivers license and she says "You know, you look really familiar, pretty sure I sold you some chew a few days ago." I told her that my brother chews also and he comes in a lot to buy it, it must have been him (really it was, this was the first time I ever bought my own chew, usually had my brother do it for me). Apprently I look a lot like my brother who is 21.... I should take his ID one of these day and go buy some alcohol. :thumbsup: Wait, so you can still buy normal stuff @ 18 there, just not Alcohol? Well today was interesting. Went out around 9.30 to go job hunting in suit (minus blazer top) in town. Four positions coming up for Supercheap Auto which will be posted in 2 days on the site to apply for. Changed into casual clothing to do some Film photography (terrible Idea to bring Jeans, should have brought along shorts instead. They're also easier to change in a car) walked around for an hour, met with a homeless 'nam veteran which we spent 30mins talking about how messed up the economy is in Newcastle (His name was Jacob). Bought $4 worth of chips to share whilst talking drove home, open the door get on the floor everybody walk the dinosaur.

I dont really need sleep, I just love sleeping. Warm and snuggly under a blanket. According to mum, even as a baby I would just SLEEEEEEEP. On average I only need something like 4 hours to function.

Every hairstyle I try fails because my hair is stupidly thick, and to grow it to a length (I guess what they call "hipster haircuts") easily takes a year+ to grow. Im really at my wits because I get the feeling thats one major thing stopping me getting a job, my crap face and age look.

SO, I just discovered how to get BFBC2 free on origin (provided you own it on Steam) Go into origin, click Redeem product, punch in the code for BFBC2, click standard, it'll ask you to log into your Origin/EA account. Then it'll ask which version are you redeeming, click Deluxe. done. Handy if you wanna transfer BFBC2 over to Origin for w/e reason.

Buying new shoes. It's about damn time personally. I haven't been able to get new shoes for 4 years and my current one's are falling apart. EDIT: and the Vans shoes I wanna get online are still on sale for $40....but they only have size 13 left. Im size 12. ;___;

Because I have horrid insecurites and a fear of judgementalist in public as well as emotional scarring from old memories. might not seem much to anyone else but its difficult for me. And yes I have tried standing on my own two feet, having a friend their for me just helps.....alot. Oh well, guess you'll have to quit and donate to me :D but srs, bots pretty much destroyed this BXPW, every other one you would get profit from flipping, but bots thought "gues we'll just dump everything right now before it becomes too hard to sell" and basically destroyed any change of that, hell herbs are still crashing, they alone made MTK with 100% approval a money sink, not by much, but it has become one. AAAANDDD to top it off, they destroyed money making via skills (heavily), after losing my bank, it's difficult to make it back. Resources are cheap and nasty, herbs are crashing, Slayer has almost become abandoned to mid levels (80+). Im glad Jagex are making good content for high levels, but I'd like an update to focus on medium-high levels (120 cb ish?) that isn't either going to be destroyed by bots, or too competitive to higher/richer players. Also, what was up with that sudden Verac flail increase for an hour yesterday?

If you go to somewhere and do it yourself (I did this in TAFE to better understand a Film Camera's capabilities) they usually have charts for B/W flims of different types like "Kodak 200", how long you develop, each chemical etc. It's been years I suppose the only advice I can say is if you use Black and White, take it to a proper camera house. Every [bleep]ing generic place like Big W, Kodak etc are idiots and shove it into the colour developer thinking that's how it works, cause of that I failed my course. long story short, low on time, develop area cant be used w/o teacher, went to Big W AND Kodak, both killed both rolls of film, Failed. Even though I told them "This is Black and White FILM, it doesn't develop in a colour developer."

Film's the only photography I do, only downside is I haven't got the gear to develop myself so Kodak do it, and they ALWAYS [bleep] up my B/W films by shoving it thru the color developers. I would love to really get into it again but my Pentax K1000 has a few problems. The lens I have has a dint in the side from a fat uncle who sat on it with a chair leg, the shutter gets stuck at times and the reel to feed the film thru at times [bleep]s up. The other problem is I can never find what I really want to develop, im considering going along to some parkour groups in town and doing that as a project of some sorts, the only problem is my Camera was handed down to me from my old man, older then me and sadly not too reliable. :( I'd pick film over digital but finding a new replacement, I'm worried about costs. THEN there's scanning them to a computer as most scanners suck... EDIT: how in gods name did you manage to become a multimedia designer in London? I love film photography but there's no way I can compete with anyone for jobs, Uni etc with what I have, especially when there's people like Hiroki with bat-[cabbage] amounts of gear and the attitude of "If you goto TAFE to learn, you shouldn't be a photographer". Also had someone tell me that at a career's expo 4 years ago, was quite a dream shatter-er. :(
