Try going 8 years with only ONE drop in the entire time of playing. With that said, screw drops. I settle for something that IS reliable and consistent. Got a email reply back from the employer of the "kiddy furniture" I feel kind of insulted at that, I was sincere and modest, I didn't say anything like "this job sucks, I dont want it" in my letter. Jeez, I can understand if they might be upset that I denied it, but im not going to be drawn in by a guilt trip letter to a job I wouldn't like to work in for "x" amount of years. (especially since they advertised for a "Website Manager, not stock taker on eBay") Whatever, the Mechanic seems to want to hire me quite a bit and I want to get in as a Mechanic so its win-win for me.

Broke off the opportunity with this employer, since the advert was for "Website Management" not "Buy and sell kid stuff on ebay for us". Got a phone call an hour ago, seems a mechanic in a town an hour away (grandparents live there) is interested in hiring and asked me to come in sometime next week for an interview. Huzzah! I deny this terrible job and im offered a full time 30-35hr/week job that I DO enjoy! :thumbsup:

Well, there's this place Im supposed to go to tomorrow morning for a "trial employment" (zero pay) for a week. my parents keep saying "oh go for it, give it a try" I hate it. The job said WEBSITE MANAGEMENT, not BUY AND SELL CHILDRENS FURNITURE VIA EBAY. How do I tell them politely (both my parents and employer) That I dislike the job and do not want it, since im paying my money, of what little I have left, on fuel for a trial and I dislike children... EDIT: its 12:20am and I need to wake up at 7am soo.... I kinda need the advice as soon as possible, pref' before they expect me to go in...

try 1 week of nolifing to max all skills There is no way in bloody murder any person can get 88->99 Runecrafting, 92->99 Agility and 89->99 Slayer in one week, no matter how hard they try. Thats 28 out of the 70 or so levels I needed. Not like I was missing 50 levels to get 99 firemaking or cooking. Failed my Army Reserves Phyical test. passed the push-ups and sit-ups, but at 6.9 in the beep test my left leg froze and went paralyzed from a cold chill for 10 mins and screwed me over. (reason being, I had skin grafts across my knees when I was born, 1990 technology wasn't that good then and a few nerves got wraped up into the scars.)

When employers post something TOTALLY different to what the actual job is. Waste my time, their time and my damn fuel money.

Regret, applying for this job. Working with stocktaking childrens furniture from ebay. I did it from a spur of the moment and didnt think they'd ring back in 10mins. Plus the job sucks, the pay is $7 an hour and I have to work 8:30am till 5pm every weekday no sick leave. talk about slave driving. and im on a 1 week no pay trial, which is worse.

I keep mine set to friends because I do have the occasional spammer add me for no reason, a beggar screaming at me for my robin or (yes, sadly) someone trying to impersonate Jagex for my account. Besides, TIF'ers only have to go into Hyt CC and ask me to add them and I will 90% of the time.

buy a HUB with more then one port, plug the Modem into that, then your PC and XBox Ethernet into the HUB. Or buy a Modem with 2+ Ports, though you're looking to pay $150+ for one.

Its just my personal preferences but its like why I dont want to date/marry a women with another man's kids. It may seem rude, but I prefer a family of my own children without say, having some Alcoholic Druggo bursting into my home in the future wanting his son so he can join the syndicate. Not saying it'll happen but I just prefer my own children. (If I have any)
