So you think that companies will go to the farthest degree in terms of revenue? Maybe not all, but i'm really shocked that this company in particular literally KICKED OUT Legit players for living in a certain area permently. So if you gave these guys money, you would lose it and thats just to bad. Amazing what companies do these days.

I don't know if the mods want this in the gaming discussion but its not perticular about any game, but companies who run them in general. We all play games for entertainment, and the company that develops and runs them is key to a games success. Well, its time to pull out the wagon and see how far a company will go to save money. This isn't to critize companies but I am curious to see if this is status quo, as in, general or does every company have the customers desires at heart. Well, intill a Mod says otherwise, I won't post the name of this gaming company and its a pretty good game too, but apparently they massed blocked IP's in regions due to autoer's. If you was a innocent chap, then thats too bad. You won't be able to play EVER again as thats for the good of the game. In the bold parts I just wanted to state that in order for them to protect the game, players who probably spent months or more time get kicked and permatly banned just for living in that area. No other reason. For discusion, what other games have you found where companies go completely balastic for security measures? I know Asherons Call 2 shut down for some reason, leaving all the players literally in the dark. I don't think you could play it all... was sad to, waste of money for those who got it.

If you ask me, this kind of attitude fuels the fires of sexism and "women in the media" issues. Firstly, I would stay away from the term "creature" if I were you. That's no way to describe any human being. :) My apologies. It was only a term to get the "feel" of what I meant, I really didn't know what words to use to come across what I meant. Secondly, women are not "innocent" and "pure" -- or at least no more innocent/pure than a man. I know this, I never said anyone was perfect. But girls who do drugs, get high, smoke, all are such turn offs to me. Some people turn away from girls due to "personality". Why can I not turn a girl away for her habits? Thirdly, the choice of diction a woman uses should in no way affect their "purity" or standards. Women should get the same treatment a man would with use of swear words. Curse words are not "good words". Their intents are usually and generally not a good thing for other people when used. Their meant to degrade, hurt, or despise someone. If you want or anyone else wants a girl who curses like a sailor, so be it, but its not the type of girl I would like. The idea that women must always be polite and must never swear is part of the "women in the media" problems. No person should be expeceted to speak or act a certain way simply because of society's expectations of their race or gender. But this is done reguardless of anyone's opinion. I think finding a girl who is kind and generous a more greater find than someone who curses just cuz they don't care. Personally, I have no quarrels with a women who swears. Me neither, but it won't go pass the friendship level. My comments in bold.

Even if the drug isn't harmful, it should still be banned due to the fact people will overdose and abuse it. Now you may spout "yeah but X is bad and people abuse it, so I don't see the problem", truth is tho, you don't really care what happens to "other" people as long as its not your family. When it DOES effect you, then you regret it, and that would be my counter argument.

Well, women aren't some magical unicorns. :P They are human beings just like men. Of course some of them will curse, not shower, get overly drunk, shout and do other repulsive things. Maybe not in conservative southern-state or middle-eastern countries, but in societies with vast equality, they can be your friends just as a male person would. I wouldn't raise my daughter to be "innocent". She's a person just like my son would be. I don't expect her to take any gender roles or appear to be something she's not. Decency is not the same as putting your hand on your mouth every time you say 'darn' or hear the "f" word. That only shows your view of beauty is different from mine and does not change my view. I never denied that girls were not humans and I never said they was magical unicorns either. I never said anything about not having friends who are girls that are drunk, smoke, or curse. However its these very traits that prevent me from going 1 extra step to pursue the next level in a relationship. To me, a womans value is that of her blessings to others. I am not saying she will make mistakes, but I am saying one who does it without reguard or thought of its results is someone I just don't want to be with. To me, profanity lowers yourself, thus degrading. Women are very beautiful prized creatures who sell theirselfs short. Cursing is just another way of lowering their standards.

In my personal opinion I think its bad for your health. So I have never done it nor plan to. However, I don't hold people who do against them, they can do what they want, just don't try to influence me to do what you do and we are kewl.

No thats not it.. its not the idea that they want to have something thats non-religious for personal matters is fine, but its the tone of it that disturbs me. As if as of late, being religious is a "bad thing", and shouldn't really have it because for "X" reason. No one talks about the beauty of religion which is probably why it gets so much hate. You just getting offended is a prime example of what i'm talking about. Its like the word religion = no. I could play devils advocate or ring around the roses with you and say I find your statements offended but I don't. Infact you should really never get to the point of offense, but distrubing still indeed that people shun religion as if it was a disease that plauges life. For example, I want a wedding thats religious and hearing people saying "its not that important", I could take it to a level of offense, I don't because i'm not that person and I really don't care all that much. Reguardless though, seeing people giving each other props and high fives for saying religious weddings "aren't all that important" is pretty sad for those who are dreaming waiting for such a day (mainly girls). Either way, religion isn't bad, but people put it off like it is and something to avoid, thats what I find disturbing.

At my old job when I use to work there.. a few black kids came in and ordered some food. They then went outside, threw the trash on the ground and on the newspaper stand, while only less than 1 foot away was a trash can.
