I just really don't like when people begin to sound like a broken record. There are a lot of people on the internet (and a number on this forum) who have trouble starting sentences without "inb4" or "mfw" or without including words such as [i had a list here but I feel like it'd look like I were targeting a single user or group of users, which I'm not, so the list is withheld].

If you're worried about forgetting a pickaxe for a quest or something, put a rune pick in your toolbelt. If you're really that worried about forgetting it when you train mining, then, sure, pay 12m. But you better be pretty damn forgetful.

I have no idea why you'd even put a dragon pickaxe in your toolbelt in the first place though. It's a low level item that's worth a decent amount of money that you throw away forever when there is a huge possibility of a higher tier version coming out. And it's not like there's any benefit to having your pick in the toolbelt anyway.

I never thought about it being like shooting stars, but now that you mention it, it seems like that's exactly what we're going to get. Even if they change the gathering animations, and the spawn mechanics, and the rewards, we'll still probably hunt down something, click it, deposit the rewards, and repeat. Of all the D&Ds to convert to a skill, they chose one of the worst ones >.>

When will Jagex learn how bad of an idea stuff like that is?

I'm wondering what the cooldowns will be. If it's 4 or more, then it'll be very easy to get high xp/hour, unless they specifically prevent that from happening. If not, then it'll just be a matter of finding the best "node" and no-lifing more than anyone else. I'm hoping for the former tbh.

Mini-rant: I hate when people who have bad senses of humor try to be funny. At some point you have to recognize that their repertoire of jokes consists entirely of memes and that you should just be serious. I don't mind when people try to be funny and fail to do so. I mind when people spew memes in an attempt to be funny (or maybe fit in, I'm not sure). For example, whenever anyone says "mfw" or "inb4" for comedic effect. "Inb4 divination is delayed to 2014" How is that funny? Just say "I'll be annoyed if divination is released in 2014". Get your opinion across in a socially acceptable manner. Don't spew memes that got old 7 years ago (as if they were ever even slightly humorous).

Idk how much scentless boosts xp/hour. It's probably about the same as an aura, which is like 10k xp/hour lol. And the interesting thing about auras is that they can decrease xp/hour too. Like if you get crashed by commons (also known as terrorists, rapists, satanists, and murderers), and you're at like 80%+ accuracy because of your aura, gl getting them to leave. 45k xp juju dose incoming. Thankfully the probability of being completely crashed by a common is pretty low. It only happens once every 2 or 3 juju doses. I mean, you still catch commons occasionally, but they only stick around for 5+ traps every once in a while. So your good juju doses will outweigh the bad. Interesting thing about commons: they have a lower respawn rate (like a full 4 ticks slower than draconics) and I'm pretty sure their accuracy is lower too. Sub-80 hunting is probably like 200k xp/hour max.

I'd have to dispute that point with you. If that's all there was to RS, then I'd have given up on it years ago as just another combat-centric MMO ('cause lord knows we don't have enough of those /sarcasm). I hardly ever do combat, and have enjoyed many, many hours in this game. Make a new account and tell me how much of the game you can access without combat. Quests/summoning in non combat situations/etc. Lets say that you don't like the new combat system it affects the whole game for you since a lot of the game DOES revolve around combat somewhere along the line Even things you can do without combat basically require combat in some way. You can personally avoid it due to being able to trade, but someone along the line has to do combat to make things possible.

The F2P population is shrinking because it isn't overrun by bots anymore, membership is cheap, and the population is old enough to purchase membership without begging their parents. Jagex isn't doing anything out of desperation, but they recognized that the game only had a few years left if they continued without microtransactions and membership advertisements.

That rule only concerns the communication between the client and the server. Orion doesn't monitor, modify, or decrypt that. It's completely legal. Not really possible for SK to do, though.

From what I've heard, bots aren't an issue at frosts, but casuals are. They come in and refuse to hop because it's their home world and other satanic reasons. Wrecks your kph. Qbd isn't that hard. Not sure on rates. Don't bother with hard mode Bandos gwd

Sort of. When you add them to the tool belt, they disappear but you'll always have their abilities no matter what.
