I use a fero on every task. I 2 hit most tasks anyway, so the extra strength doesn't really do much. Its also a lot less annoying than switching rings and having to put up with that fairy ring bull [cabbage]. But ya. tbh this was a waste of a post. op should ignore me.

Just bring an inv of uncharged urns and add the runes as you need them. I'm pretty sure that solves the problem.

Tbh just use a fero.

The tunnels have always been my least favorite part of barrows, but thanks to your guide, I will no longer fear those unopenable doors and deadly monsters. Thank you.

Don't put the rune in the urn until you're ready to use it, since you can only carry 10 runed urns at a time.

I use the quick prayer thing, so when i turn piety off, melee gets turned off too. I can't flash using the prayer menu for whatever reason. And you can eat without wasting time. You just have to time it correctly.

If I pray melee I have difficulty flashing piety. And i think piety>prot melee.

They don't hit enough to warrant praying. You eat once every 10 kills or so.

I usually only need food on hellhound tasks, but I have those blocked now. You're still gonna want to pray melee vs black demons and metals. Bring a couple monks to every task, just in case.

Urns are crap.

After the February 15th update to ashes, Nechryaels suddenly became a massive money maker. Their ashes went from being worth next to nothing to being worth between 5,000 and 6,000 gp each. Here is the set up that I found to be most effective. Obviously, you will need to adjust the amount of potions and food based on your needs. To get there, enter the chaos tunnels through the entrance north of the monastery. Head through the rooms marked on the map, praying where indicated. Begin luring the nechs as shown. Use your yak to bank your ashes. Assuming 230 kills per hour, one can expect 230 infernal ashes, 2 rune boots, 2 snapdragon seeds, and 700 chinchompas. 230 infernal ashes, at 5,000 gp each, are worth 1.15m. 2 rune boots, at 80k gp each, are worth 160k. 2 snapdragon seeds, at 60k each, are worth 120k. 700 chinchompas, at 750 gp each, are worth 525k. That's a total of 905k in one hour, not including potential torstol seeds as well, which come every few hundred kills. Assuming that each nechryael spawns 1 death spawn, each kill is worth 660 range xp. Assuming 230 kills per hour, over 151k range xp is earned. Crimson charms are also dropped at almost a 1/3 rate, giving around 75 crims/hour. That's a grand total of 900k+ gp/hour, 150k range xp/hour, and 75 crimson charms/hour.

They may have been stupid, but I feel bad. It took them 10 hours to earn what takes most of us 1 hour, and then they had all their work taken away.

Prestige is equal to the number of floors you've done, so if you skipped a few floors below 30, your prestige will be lower. I actually just read the topic. You're talking about how much your prestige effects your xp. With 30 prestige at f1, I'd only expect about 1k prestige, but at f30 you'd get around 10k.

Dont make guides on how to get fast xp, since pretty much everyone knows how or if they don't they can just look on rs wiki or something and find what they need to know in seconds. I'd recommend going into more specific guides, i.e. minigame strategies, as someone said before. Just try to be original.

Ya, dragon has boots and defender. No one uses dragon/barrows weapons. They use a whip or rapier. Unless they're like level 80. Then they use a d scim or whatever. But that's irrelevant, since the topic is about armor. Everything else either sucks, or has a much cheaper and more effective alternative. Dragon is not more versatile than barrows, unless you count having less stats and less prayer as more versatile. Also, its only 170k for repairs, less if you use your poh.
