I took AP world 2 years ago and we just watched movies all class. We had to do a packet every week and a half or so and that took an around hour if you worked efficiently. Most people just got answers from each other at lunch. The final was tough though, I was only able to write on one of the essays, and I barely got half the multiple choice right. Somehow I managed to get a 3, though. Usually when people say you're going to get X amount of homework per night, they're just trying to scare you. Chances are that it's dramatically shorter, or not as frequent. Either way, don't freak out.

I feel the same way about Green Day. IMO their last 2 albums were genius, some of the best concept albums I've heard, but the mainstream songs tended to knock them down a few notches. Wake me up when September ends and Boulevard of Broken Dreams completely covered up the better songs on the album, in particular Letterbomb and Homecoming. 21 Guns and Last of the American Girls had the same purpose in 21st Century breakdown, this time overshadowing The Static Age, Restless Heart Syndrome, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, and American Eulogy. This also happened to multiple other artists, but I don't think I need to elaborate any more.

I'm definitely a post-rocker. Actually, I'm more of an Oceansizer. Kinda the same thing, only more sizey.

I got my schedule today, looks like I'll be having a lot of classes with my friends. I also managed to get an elective I didn't even sign up for with my sister. That should be interesting.

I'm looking forward to this year. It's my last year of high school and I'd like to make it the best year. I think I'll try to get a girlfriend, work on my band, try to get a life, and take it easy, all at the same time. Should be fun :thumbup: @Jaerk: IB isn't that bad, I rocked the past 3 years of it. The trick is to not procrastinate and to do your work. Having confidence in yourself helps out a lot too.

I think people are just foolish and use that word (emo) very liberally to insult people. I can definitely see how they could make the connection with me, since I have almost black hair that covers one of my eyes and I never smile, but I'm not emo.

I get called emo a lot, even though I don't think I fit into that subculture at all. Some people say I fit into the 'crazy musician' group, which is a much better label, but I try not to label myself.

He's just hitting puberty now. A little while ago he still had his baby boy voice, and now it sounds mid-pubescent. It's kinda sad.

Oddly enough, the vocals were my favorite part. The instrumental part, while it was nice, did nothing for me. It didn't sound special at all.

They come up under Genius for Oceansize on iTunes. I listened to them once, they were alright, but I was never really into prog.
