I started playing in 2001 actually ;p That's exactly why these capes are a bad idea. Even the mere suggestion of them brings out the elitist values in some people. Just imagine if Jagex did implement them; people like you would continue to flaunt their "status" about how much of their life they've wasted on a game even though no one really gives a [bleep].

Since you rarely get hit while mining, that would make Barrows overkill. The extra defense shouldn't warrant the degradation. I used to mine in world 99, and I would wear a rune plate, dragon skirt, and a bat mask and be able to survive on 2 monkfish for several hours with only 60 defense. I'm sure that any outstanding benefit of Barrows would have been due to the extra defense levels I would have gained trying to get the requirements. Whether or not you like to wear Barrows or not should be irrelevant, for the only thing that should matter is that rune should suffice for most players. I'd be more than willing to test this later on, but you should look into it yourself, considering that this is your guide. Also, don't get me wrong; Barrows is amazing armor and should not be considered worthless, it's just that in this situation it's probably better to pay the few hundred thousand coins that rune costs over the few million, plus repairs, that Barrows costs, because the living rock creatures are so wimpy.

Not much to say. Most members don't fletch bronze arrows, very few monsters drop them in any quantity, and thus there isn't a huge supply. Just hope that you get lucky and can get your arrows soon. Good luck.

You need a coordinate clue or it will never work.

If you want to profit, definitely go with iron, since it is much quicker xp and just as good financially. However, I would recommend mining granite, because you can almost double the xp/hour of iron. If you need help just check out my guide under General Guides.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure that you were carrying a coordinates clue in your inventory and that you don't already have a chart?

I would advise against using barrows at the LRC. With something like 60 defense, I barely took any damage when I wasn't wearing armor; granted, I was in world 84, but you should always use that world anyway. If you're paranoid about the creatures, I would recommend wearing rune, simply because it doesn't degrade, forcing you to repair your armor quite often, and because it still provides a decent amount of defense. Also, make sure you wear at least Varrock armor 1 (2 if you're mining gold) so that you can get up to 3 ores at once. Furthermore, all the gold deposits make great safespots; the strikers will only throw their rocks if you are with in about 4 or so squares of them, so you'll be perfectly fine on the other side of the rock. Finally, don't be known as a "solo-miner", or someone that mines a different deposit than everyone else. You'll start the timer on your rock, eventually causing both rocks to be out simultaneously.

It depends on how long it takes a crew member to notice your correction and apply the change. It could be anywhere from a few seconds to a few weeks, but it will most likely be implemented in a relatively short amount of time.

Pking would be perfect for me if so many people wouldn't run away from dm's. The other day I was pking on my pure, and I was doing really well; hitting high numbers, not being hit very often, and generally being a badass. But every single time that one of my opponents got low on food, they would run away like the little babies they are. I managed to get 1 kill that day, thanks to a lucky KO, but I still didn't earn much because of the amount of resources I wasted on the failures I fought. I know that I don't ever run away from a fight, so why do so many people do so?

I keep mine on friends mainly because I'm afraid that someone from real life will log in, see me logged on, then proceed to die of laughter at my expense. In my worst nightmares, the most popular kid in school would log onto his level 23 account from 4 years ago and see someone named Meredith logged on. After some tracing, said account will be placed to my name, humiliating me, and making me lose 300 Facebook friends. Also, I do not wish to talk to the friends I made in 2006 or 2007. The last time I spoke to one, it was not at all how you would imagine. We were not all of a sudden best friends again. Apparently I had grown up a little bit over the course of the years, but he still maintained his 9 year old attitude, and I could not stand to be around him. I do not want that to be repeated. While that may sound like I'm a bit arrogant, I believe that I am not so simply for the reason that I do not want to risk talking to someone who still talks like Justin Bieber again.

Ugh, both are [wagon] ugly. I haven't seen a single person that even looked decent in them; which makes me feel like the people that like them have no fashion sense. Both make you look a lot heavier than you actually are, and neither work with any of the skin tones your player could have. That being said, the debate here should be about stats: the dragon plate wins by a small margin defensively, but the bandos plate has a strength and prayer bonus, which carry a much bigger weight than defensive stab and slash bonuses. If you were forced to buy one of the two items, definitely go with the bcp. It is better for most combat, and; I would say, looks a little bit better than the alternative. If, however; you were free to choose any combination of items, I would recommend sticking with barrows. Generally the cheapest body and a Verac's skirt is the consensus. If you're trying to make a fashion statement, go with Verac's brassard, Karil's skirt, and maybe an Ahrim's hood (or a bat mask if you're a boss). Black dhide vambs should always be used if you want to look sexy, as well as vyrewatch shoes if you are a female. Furies are the most aesthetically pleasing amulet, which you should get if you can afford it (which you will be able to since you didn't buy a dplate or bcp). Lastly, wear either your favorite skill cape or a firecape, depending on your personal preference.

im mainly making tiaras due to the fact that i wanted to raise my mining level so i decided to mine silver and make tiaras to get some crafting xp i cant get smelt mithril as not level 50 but not that far away (2 levels?) It would be a lot faster to mine iron (which is double the xp/hour of the next fastest method in f2p), subsequently selling it, then buying the things you need for smithing and crafting.

Honestly, 'noob' has lost so much meaning nowadays; I'm pretty sure it used to mean newb, but now it's nothing more than a petty insult used by little children that don't have the balls to call anyone anything else. My best advice would be just to smile and nod at the kiddies and hope that they grow up soon.
