  1. Well, if you buy teletabs from people you'd still be able to teleport with one magic, you'd just eb dependent on other players. Without teletabs, I think agility training would be something for you to look into. A high agility level makes walking less of a pain, as you regain energy faster. You could also get herblore up and use energy pots to keep running. Out of all those, I'm sure one of those choices would suit you. As for asking if there's any good items, I'm not much into pures, so I wouldn't know... But it would seem that getting attack up to 50 or 60 would give you access to better weapons. But don't take that to heart, as that may be against some wierd unwritten pures rule :?
  2. I agree with the cliche annoying things. And a tip for dealing with door closers, simply click on the door and immediately click outside the door. if you do it right, you'll walk through the door  Not to mention the "ZOMG haxorz!" from the door closer :XD:
  3. Thanks so much everybody :D The math seems to work out right, and it makes logical sense. Thanks for helping double check someone else's homework when most people wouldn't even do their own :XD: Oh, and just so you all don't feel like you helped someone cheat, I forced myself to endure the numbers to see why it was what it was, too :
  4. Ok, I'm pretty sure I got this right, but I'm not doing so well in math (comparatively, that is, it's my only lowish B and my dad will flip...) and he has a wierd way of grading that he only chooses about 4 or 5 problems to grade, so I don't wanna get a 75% for missing one of these . Sob story being over... ~ Using pi = 3 [i think he's lazy], Michael calculated that the cost for painting the roof of a cylindrical water tower would be $36. If this is true, how much would it cost to paint around the outside? Height = 8 ft. Radius = 6 ft. I got $864 which doesn't seem right, yet I've double-checked it 3 times... :-k Then part b... ~ How much water could you put in the tower? I got 864 cubic ft., same as part a... :-k Any help would be greatly appreciated
  5. You kill snails in the Morytania swamps and chisel their shells. They come in several colors and varieties. Bruise snelms ftw! \
  6. Nope, ya can't. You can't bank colored froggies :( And erm, what's this about stuffed snakes? Never heard of 'em :-k Anyways, how about you collect snelms? There's all sorts and they'd help your crafting level :D
  7. You do know that Auguste provides the sapling, right? Or did you lose yours?
  8. Yeah. You go to the Varrock clothes store (the regular one, near the fountain) and talk to the storekeeper. Ask about what she has to offer and be interested in the makeover option. She'll allow you to change your basic clothes for 500 gp for top or bottom, or 1k for a full change. For a full change, though, you have to do the top and bottom individually.
  9. Probably not exactly a groundbreaking tip, but a good way to train farming/herblore, would be to plant an herb seed in each of the four allotments using super compost and go do something else for an hour and come back.
  10. One good place is probably the two yews in Edgeville. Really fast banking
  11. One of my friends got a spare banned for having an offensive name... The name of it was helptraveler :? Like all large games, they can't double check every false report. Send in an appeal and make sure it wasn't just an accident.
  12. Exactly my point. That's the point where it ceases to be used in the way it was designed to be and begins to be twisted into something that becomes bad by the person who chooses to misuse it. There must be a balance. But this does not means that it should be dismissed entirely.
  13. While I'll admit that too much of anything is a bad thing, of course, I disagree that too much internet is any worse than anything else that's used in excess. Let's say somebody, let's name the them Smith, plays on the computer whenever they do not have school or homework to do. Smith can't drive and has parents that, for whatever reason, aren't available often to take him very many places. He hangs out with friends whenever he can manage and doesn't neglect his responsibilities to play on the computer. So, that being said, he's basically stuck at home due to lack of transportation and has his options narrowed down to whatever he has access to at home. Now, almost anything in his house that would provide entertainment will eventually get boring, as they have no versatility. The exceptions to this are T.V. and internet. Let's weigh the pros and cons here. TV: Pros: - Potentionally many choices of what to watch - An outlet to the outside world Cons: - A very short attention span developed due to entertainment within a (generally) 30 minute timespan. - No effort whatsoever to enjoy it, leading to a subconscious belief that not all good things must be earned - A disillusionment of what life is really like due to 'reality shows' Internet: Pros: (as it applies to MMORPGs) - Logic skills are developed by discovering the most efficient ways to do things - Patience developed by working hard on a skill to reach a gratifying goal - Work ethic developed by realizing that work leads to it's own reward - Access to a social environment at any time that consists of a variety of genders, ethnicities, age, etc. which teaches an acceptance of equality amongst all humans. Cons: (I don't pretend there aren't any) - Health degeneration if used improperly - Immature users who fail to realize the importance of the pros, and so dismiss them - Possibility of overdoing it to the extent the it ceases to be for pleasure and challenge and becomes obsessive In conclusion, the internet is as good or bad as the one who uses it makes it. A mature, responsible player will find it benefits them, while an immature, irresponsible player may find that the pros can not apply to them because they will not allow it.
  14. Best thing about MM is that the little gnomes cover for ya  If you want to make it go faster, you could level range, but it's doable as it is with your current level and a good amount of arrows. If you really wanna take the easy way, you could sit back and let the gnomes do it, but then where's the fun? :P
  15. Surely if it was going to be more than 1 week away, Jagex wouldn't have used the term "we will kick straight off with" in the BTS;) As to when it's determined... Hmmm... Yeah, it probably isn't able to be known until you test it out... Though logically the clues that already exist should carry over and have a chance of getting the new items. I'd save it
