Ugh, it gets annoying when the media tries to focus and analyze gamers and games, sometimes. They always end up acting like they have conclusive studies that show such-and-such (usually bad) and stereotype the entire community be an extremely small sample. If they want an accurate article, at least play the game... Even one month + interviewing a range of players would give a more accurate article than no prior knowledge of the game and, what was it? Three interviews? :-s Well, mild rant being over, at least this time they didn't devote the article to trying to prove that the internet is nothing but a hazard and should be removed from the equation entirely. :roll:

Slick move, putting a disclaimer in fine print :P I myself have the quest skill cape and I'm leaning towards finding another skill to get 99 in. Not sure what, though :-k Mainly because a quest skill cape isn't as permanent as the others, and it can't be trimmed or provide any stat increases, etc.

But what about the unlucky ones between 60 and 90 who get excluded on the same basis? :-k Not to mention the rare but existant low levels who have an iq above 50...

I can't pretend I'm an oldtimer, or anything, but I've been playing about a year. My dad played at that time, and he begged me to help him mine essence by standing at the dead tree in varrock and running the essence to the bank. I got killed by a mugger once or twice there. To this day if I see a mugger, I kill it just because I can :P

Most of these predictions are based on current conditions. Events between now and next year may blow these predcitions out of the water. We won't know until then :wink:

Well, I'm not really into the whole clan deal, but the gist of it is that you watch each other's backs in the wilderness... As to finding one, look on the clan recruitment forums on here or the main forums.

Eh, it's not really that hard, especially since the gnomes block him for you. Just mage it with fire blast with protect from mage prayer, sharks, and a p pot or two.
