  1. I knew I wasn't crazy! So... let me get this straight... Jagex updated Ghrim so that you can now sell for more than the price on the GE, but they didn't announce the update and they didn't update the GE prices to reflect this 10% deal? And because I didn't know I just forfeited 300k gp to someone who is lucky enough to have found out before me? I'm a tad pissed off about that Dude everyone who was around for the Fremmenik Diary update knows this and I'm pretty sure it's fairly common knowledge, except the complete morons who buy Opulent Tables for over 2M on the RSOF... SHHH!!! Don't tell them though, I wanna make money off their stupidity. Those were supposed to be TEMPORARY updates and they only affected certain items NOT INCLUDING Opulent Tables Or at least that's what Jagex said...
  2. I suppose. Anyway, I noticed this bit. Probably, Reldo was just going through his other books in that bit, passing by a different text about the first age and another one about popular lore before he found the one about Robert the Strong. And as a side note, it would be nice if we could get a lot of this information (and some of the images as well) onto the RS Wiki page for Dragonkin. It is supposed to be the ultimate repository of all Runescape knowledge, after all. ;) NEVER!!! THIS IS MY KNOWLEDGE! MINE!!! Lol... kidding... If you want to, go ahead and add it, but I don't think very highly of RS Wiki and therefor wouldn't expend much time on it ;)

  4. It never could have dropped below 112k, and I'd be willing to bet that it'll go over 400k (at least in d stoning). D stoning? and why never below 112k? Its all irrelevant now I suppose, but I'm curious :P grim would of bought all tables for 112k each I thought Ghrim bought them for the GE price? :-w I didn't know that... lol... once again me + playing the market = epic phail  Still I could have sworn that Ghrim always bought them for the GE price...

  7. Nah, I just sold em. I know the price could go up and down and whatever, but I had some bad experiences with investing. I expected the value to be 0 forever, and I'm glad to have gotten nearly 1m from it
  8. Unless you have junk, you'll never be able to sell them before they crash. I merched 30 of them, traded 15 for 3a vambs and sold one for 3.2m with junk, but I can't do much now without junk. How do you know they'll crash, and when do you think they'll do so? They can be made for 1.2m. The only reason they are trading high is because junk is in popular demand. Once the GE price gets to a few hundred K, people like you and me - without any junk - will dump them and force the price down; there are currently too many tables, it's just that many of them are locked up without junk. I'll just sell them now lol... try to make a cool 1m off what used to be just 100k  Edit: Sold em for nearly 900k :P

  10. Seriously? That's great!! I have like 12 of em I got from clues and if they really do go back up to even half of what they cost to make, I'll make a ton of money, or have some really good junk \
  11. Why are they going up in price? As far as I know, they're a fairly common reward from level 3 clues, and they used to be really low in price, as low as 5k I think. Why now are they going up in price? Are people actually buying them enough that the price is going up naturally, or is Jagex artificially inflating the price?
  12. Well, we can be fairly certain that the dragonkin weren't involved in the trapping of Azzanadra, so we can ignore the diamonds. (Yes, the number 4 can be just a coincidence. ;) ) But the four cardinal directions thing seems to be supported by the KBD's letter in the Postbag warning you about the four points of a compass. And it's true that we already seem to know of northern and western locations connected with the dragonkin: the Ancient Cavern is pretty well-confirmed, and the dragonkin symbol is definitely on those ruins in the spirit realm. Morytania we're less sure of, but the evidence is very strong, most notably the Postbag letter from the imp about how it smells of dragon dung there. So since we have, more or less, a north, east, and west location, maybe there is a southern location as well. But I don't think there's any evidence to point us one way or another. There are two big strikes against this theory. The first is that the Ancient Cavern isn't really "west" per se. It's northwest. If you look at it on a world map, it's probably around the same longitude as Ice Mountain, or roundabouts. If their stronghold was in the west, I would expect it to be in Arandar or Tirannwn, which is Runescape's westernmost region. And the KBD's hint strongly implies that it would be the 4 main compass directions we would need to watch for. The second is that we don't have any evidence of a dragonkin stronghold in the south, and it doesn't seem likely that there are any on Karamja or in the desert. We've already had opportunities to explore most of Karamja, thanks to the Brimhaven Dungeon, Shilo Village quest, and Legends Quest. There are various ancient evils around, but none of them are dragonkin--the only plausible link would be the dragons in Brimhaven Dungeon. That's our best clue. The Game Guide has this to say on the origins of Brimhaven Dungeon: The other possibility for the southern stronghold is the desert. There's still a small section that is yet unrevealed, but it seems to me like the Scabarites have done enough burrowing that an encounter with the dragonkin would have been hinted at in the Scabaras Notes. Also, remember that the area in question would have been home to the city of Ullek until the Third Age, and if dragonkin had been in the area it's likely the city would have been destroyed much sooner, since they're supposed to destroy just about everything in their path, if you recall. Menaphos, Sophanem, and Ullek would have been leveled long ago if they were built next to a dragonkin fortress. While its true that the Ancient Cavern isn't exactly West, per se, but it is in the western "half" of RuneScape. I don't think the directions should be taken literally, which is also why I don't think there is any significance about the "middle" of the compass. I just feel that the analogy is used to drive home the point that the Dragonkin, allegedly, have the rest of the world surrounded.
  13. The being trapped int he pyramid IS a mahjarrat. All Mahjarrats were originally loyal to Ictharlin, a desert god, yet when Zaros was expanding his empire, they changed loyalties and became Zaros's servants. After a while, however, a number of mahjarrat, led by Zamorak, rebelled and attacked Zaros. The mahjarrat in the pyramid, I think his name was Azzandara, is one of the mahjarrat that remained loyal to Zaros.
  14. Am I the only one confused by this passage from the first article: Not to rag unnecessarily on the article, but it seemed to me that this passage was saying that there will be a "moderate decline in subscriptions" and at the same time "RuneScape will also likely GAIN overall market share". Aren't those mutually exclusive? :-s
  15. Evil coming? Elves. But why is the Underground pass linked to Tiranwnn anyway? (Don't say "for the quest..."). Were (or are, if Iban truly is immortal) Iban and the Elves cooperating? This would mean that Tyras was a good guy, if elves are his enemies; he is Lathas's brother, in the end. Lathas might be a King, but can make mistakes, for example trying to clear the Making History outpost, or in this situation, thinking of his brother as a "bad guy." Maybe Lathas is really the bad guy here, maybe he knew that outpost was important but wanted to tear it down so some of Kandarin's history could not be revealed. If you think that what I just said was insane, you are correct. After beating Regicide, you find out Lathas IS the bad guy. The underground pass is an ancient pass that was once used as a prime crossing ground between what is now Ardougne and the elf forrest. If Lathas really wanted the outpost destroyed, he could have done it anyways. He's a king. And do remember, elves are like humans. Not distinctly good or evil, it depends on the elf in question. By the way, who remembers the elven prophecy? In MEP2, you get a diary from a dead elf, and he speaks of some prophecy, and wonders if the human that went through the underground pass is the one spoken of in said prophecy. I just hope quest 150 continues a storyline. BTW, for whoever said we need a sequel to "The Forgettable Tale of a Drunk Dwarf" because that quest came out over 3 years ago.....MEP2 came out over 5 years ago I think, and definitely before the Forgettable Tale. MEP2 probably came out before Keldragim did.... EDIT: For everyone who thinks the next elemental workshop quest will be SOUL armor, due to the famous "mind body and soul" mantra, DO remember that the first quest in that series was ELEMENTAL. Not Mind. I'd say the next quest in that series will use cosmics. points to body symbol on big door in the bottom floor of workshop....really does that have anything to do with cosmics? reaserch before you speak He was speculating. No research required for that, really.
  16. A panel slides back from under your feet to reveal a circular pit with no lighting. You plummet down into the pitch black hole for several minutes before you wind up in a Rick Astley concert. There's a polished silver button set in the one of the eye sockets of a golden bas-relief skull. The other eye is covered by an onyx eye patch. Also Rick Astley is there.

  21. That's 60,000 Slayer Points. The player would have to have nearly 60M Slayer Xp already to get a boost that big. No, not impossible, but I think that proves that in this case he/she did abuse the bug. He's right. Anyone with 60k slayer points would have a huge amount of slayer xp. No one has enough for that.
  22. 99 in every skill; 200m xp is useless Would you rather lose an arm or lose a leg?
  23. Dear Dragon Impling, Puro-Puro...nice place you got there. Anyway, to my question. I've heard implings steal all the loot they own. If that's the case, how did you come across dragon arrows and darts? Was there a previous owner to these long-awaited items? Who did you originally steal them from before you got your thieving hands on them? Sincerely, A Dragon Impling Hunter, Biohurricane Dear Biohurricane, Puro-Puro is the place of ours. We found it. Many others wanted to go there and their desire attracted us to it. Now adventurers come and play with us, desiring our things. It makes our bellies fat and keeps us happy. Dragon stuff? We found it in secret places. Many different worlds, many different places. All hidden. Deep down, in the darkness. Huge piles of things. Left for a long time, though their masters begin to stir. Have you got tasty things in your pockets? We shall have them. All of them. Give them unto us! I sense gems in your pockets. We shall take them. I'm hungry. I need them. What else do you have? Coins, seem most desired of all. Strange really but we don't like holding them...they are heavy and it would take all the implings to carry many of them. Mr Pete of Posting has given me a nice pen. I sense he wants it back. He's never getting it. I already called in the imps. They are on their way. Perhaps I'll keep this paper t... [i'm afraid that I had to grab the letter in my teeth and teleport away before that dratted imp tried to steal my letters as well as my pen. I hope none have gone missing from my bag - Postie Pete.] An excerpt from Postbag 23 for use in my Dragonkin thread
