  1. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_e ... ards#Other You should probably find the info you need here. Except for choice Xp, everything is sumed up by skill.
  2. Woodcutting, because trees renew the oxygen on the atmosphere...
  3. Two words for you: Relycim's Balm. That odd potion obtained from Zogre Flesh Eaters is extremely useful here, as the traps can give you the "disease" and you don't want random levels to go down while in there. Quick way to get some is to simply buy from the shop npc just south of Castle Wars (the Zogre quest is required for this, so if you haven't done it, ask a friend, i think the pots are tradeable).
  4. You SHOULD not bury these, as they give the same xp as big bones, but are much more valuable than them. Long and curved bones can be exchanged to Barlak, a cave goblin who resides in Dorgesh-Khan and who trades those for both cash and construction xp (if your con lvl is over 30). If you don't meet the requirements, save the bones anyways: they are that useful.
  5. Runite is NOT good exp, a lot like any other "high" requirement resource gathering skills, for example, in Woodcutting niether magic nor yew tree are of any good exp compared to the other levels, same for Fishing, sharks are not even close to the exp rate of fly fishing for example. Same goes for Mining, iron in F2P and granite in P2P are you best choices for exp. P.S. It's mousekeys not hotkeys, and you should use it ;) . I'm almost positively sure he doesn't care one bit about getting xp. He just wants to get double rune ores... At least now i know someone understands what i've been saying...
  6. I think you've misread his problem. He can't find the entrance to the dungeon. OT: From the entrance to Relleka, just follow the road east till you come near the Golden Apple Tree. The entrance is just east of that, with bull-looking statues at the entrance, you can't miss it. Then, as said above, the cave crawler will be the very first thing you'll see there. Don't forget your anti-poison, just to be safe.
  7. Thanks for all the "off-topicness" there, i'm sure hotkeys are great, but it wasn't related to my question... Rambling aside, i've just found the answer to my own question. The 15 min stop counting while logged-out. So, all that "Wait while changing world" time while mining runite won't affect the timer. *Goes grab a chunk of sky-blue coloured metal chunks*
  8. Actually, using a once-a-day reward that lasts 15 minutes to get xp over the potential it has on runite is an epic waste, IMO.
  9. Hey there! This is an appeal to those hardcore star hunters out there, who really are experienced on the ways of the star sprites (AKA "tubbies"). Not having mined many of those myself, today i stumbled upon a very large star during my farming round, resulting in me getting some goodies and those "15 minutes of change to get double ores while mining". The question is: do those 15 minutes continue counting while i'm offline, or is it only logged-in time which counts? P.S.: Mining runite while on that time rocks!! 8-)
  10. It lasts for 5 minutes, but considering it's one of those things you spend money once and use for the rest of your RS time, I'd buy the best gravestone as soon as possible. In fact, i did.
  11. No maze or monsters. In fact, no dungeon at all!! If you enter that cave, you just come out of another cave entrance on the exact next second, and you'll be on the island you need. Hope that helps.
  12. You get there by entering the cave to the south of Gu'tanoth (not the one where Rantz lives). You find this cave by going around the city, passing near the island and keeping south untill you can turn West. The cave is near some Ogres and i think it has a dungeon symbol to mark it on the minimap.
  13. So do I my friend. About time we get to the fabled Cursed Archipelago. So far, pirate quests are the ones i've lol'ed harder. Those and the Forgetable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, but we can forget about a sequel to that one anytime soon.
  14. As i'm seeing many different opinions on the matter, i'd now ask which skill (can be other than the ones offered, such as Slayer or Runecrafting) do you think more worthwhile to get ToG'ed. Also. i´d rather you answer the question in general, and not aplied to my case. Even though i apreciated Wioneo's reply about Prayer (i wasn't aware of that, and may influence me in raising the skill for that), i'm also interested in the discussion value of this topic.
  15. Thanks for all the quickness on the replys. Farming is not the most pressing issue, as i have it quite higher than the rest on the list, just added it in order to compare with the others, although i have a reasonable figure about farming. Also, i'm always getting more herbs from farming, but since i could be making cash by selling them, it's always a potential cost that should be accounted to Herblore. Construction is a skill i feel done with - i do have a gilded altar in my house, tea + crystal saw did the trick - although i'll raise it higher if it's not the most expensive. As for Prayer, I wouldn't have thought it was actually more expensive than summoning even though if the choice is between these 2, i'd go for raising prayer the hard way. Summoning is harder to raise due to charms, and the longer i save them, the better the xp i'll get from my stock of charms.
  16. Hey there! I'm a regular user of both ToG and Penguin Points to raise my lowest skill. Which, in order to save a few geepees, i like to use on skills which cost money to raise. Question is, as im reaching "somewhat ok" levels on my lower skills, i want to use these on the most expensive skill, and raise the others from the following list through normal cash-burning training. The skills i think qualify to the description are: Herblore Summoning Prayer Construction Farming Also, if it's not much of a hassle, could you order them in terms of cost/xp. Thanks in advance.
  17. Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is where i got this rumours. Anyways, since you probably haven't ever gotten a monster stolen in multi, that's why you never experienced this during your, erm... testings... (Trying not to sound offensive here, just replying as you did to me)
  18. Hi, i know the title isn't clear enough, but couldn't figure out anything clearer... As most of you may know, when killing a monster on your slayer task, you get half the xp for doing the most damage and half for giving the final blow. When you are fighting out of multi combat areas or with noone near, this ain't a problem, but when multiple dudes start piling on your cute lil black demon on CT, this is quite important. Nevertheless, this topic isn't about dudes on my monster... So, my question is the following: do i get full slayer xp when either my summoning familiar or poison get the final blow on my monster?
  19. Entrance to giant eagle's cave. After Eagle's Peak quest, you can catch an eagle to get there from Eagle's Peak and back. P.S.: Also, this would go in Help and Advice.
  20. Probably a stupid question but forgive me I stopped with members before summoning. How do firelighters tie in with summoning? They don't, he's suggesting that they use it as a second for summoning. But if they did that they would have to make them non-stackable... Proboscis from mosquitoes are also tradeable, just hard to get em masse. Also, i could really see an easy way to explain how a pyrelord could have different coloured variants requiring firelighters instead of a tinderbox. (*Imagines a funky looking green pyrelord and drools...*)
  21. Thanks, it's all answered then.
  22. As of the KB, V flail has the same speed as a mace and considering the better stats, it seems like a very reasonable option. Even adding the rune defender stats to the D mace, it still falls behind in both crush atk, strenght and prayer bonus, which seem the most important here, but still, i'd like to ask if the V flail is 1-handed or 2-handed. @ gun_hippy: As a matter of fact "1.5m" is not a very large amount of cash, but still "some hours" worth of effort doing my most profitable skilling... That said, i'd rather spend that amount of cash on prayer than on a weapon that i won't be using that much. I made the question in order to figure out if i should start killing the so famed "red-charm-dropping-monster" when i come back to members in a few weeks. Thanks though for still giving useful input. To everyone else, i'd really like to thank all for the huge amount of replies, it seems like waterfiend killing setup is something that interests many other people.
  23. So i've read that waterfiends are extremely adviseable to kill with high crush-bonus weaponry. Fact is, i dont want to buy a 1,5M+ weapon just for 1 monster (i.e. GS's, SS, Zammy spear...). So i was wondering what is more adviseable: dragon mace with rune defender or barrelchest anchor?
  24. Hi! I was wondering that, if someone cancels a subscription to members with a member grave, will it show up in f2p worlds as well? Also, is the time the same, or reduced to f2p gravestones max? Thanks in advance.
