a few things, u dont need ring to hally devils i dont think and i found protect from melee to b best thing on vampire. the mage may be constant but its always expected and if you bring enough food, he is quite easy to beat.

99 cook -- easiest skill to 99 planning on making rc to 91, it would b right here 87 mage-- y not? 75 fletch --this is where the skills get bad 66 range-- dunno y 64 prayer-- prayer noob!

this is an ok guide BUT, you have posted here not to try unless youre cb is 85+. i steel dragon hunted at lv 65 and had no troubles. instead of puttin a cb lv. put some other lvs, like suggested minimum mage lv of like 80, or the fact that 43 prayer is essential along with a decent def lv. just a few suggestions

here is what angers me. i have my pouches and all and im going to the abyss all happy. then i get tele block ensnare (throught my 87 mage!?!?!) but since i am on ancients and use pad tele instead of glory they dont get it. so i tell them to stop ill give them my dhide cuz i dont have a glory. but they have no honor and pk the defenseless

it is like you were talking bout me in that lol. the only difference is that i had decided to make a pure to see wat it was like and instead of just raising certain skills started to devote all my time to him. then i got sick of one skill and have started to balance him out. but yes, i cannot stand raising one skill forever either. therefore, because mage is my favorite skill and i want to get it up. i raise it until i get bored. then, i do something else that is fun and productive, like castlewars or my new favorite, the sorceres garden for thieving and farming xp. then i go back to the steel dragons for my mage lvs. good luck in the future with ur skills
