this is really broken up into 2 parts, I (as a perm mute) think if your perm muted you shouldnt be able to use clan chat. however I believe that spamming your clans name in a clan event should only get you a warning seeing as how we all lose our heads at an event some time or another.

Guess my 360 didnt really help me play rs less #-o its not like im staying up just for the update, i have trouble sleeping so my sleep schedule has been messed up for weeks -.- and i recentley had to pry myself of runescape to get back into bein a gamer lol Well ya thats basically what I said / And also describes me in a nutshell. Except change the few week part to a few months. school is gonna be hell -.-

i really think that this post had little to do with the actual discussion, if the f2ps are happy with what they have thats a problem for jagex. No it isnt, f2p still contribute to the game, jagex doesnt really care if they have some pure f2pers, when the game came out they didnt even have p2p, and we got by just fine without it, jagex knows that without f2p p2p will fail, so they dont mind if people want to stay f2p, its keeps the numbers up and looks good on paper. Whats looks better: Runescape an online role playing game with 2 million players. or Runescape an online role playing game with 800,000 subscribers. I know which one id use to advertise. you make very good arguments 123yourgone -.-

I liked this reply very much. I think that Jagex would want people to say that they are satisfied with the game. That's the goal they're looking for, the more you play, the more you will want to join to be a member and further your experience. Thus if you've been playing for a good long time you're more likely to become a member. yes but they are satisfied with the f2p version of the game meaning they most likely wont become members, so jagex wants them to be unsatisfied with f2p and satisfied with p2p

y'know this topic wasnt meant to be another f2p are whiners thread but it seems every discussion that seperates the 2 turn into this -.- and all of you keep responding to how p2p are bad as well and junk about how racist we are not only are you generalising us too but your spamming my topic

Exactly what you would say... so your p2p now? If your p2p and have been f2p for 2 year you obviously found something wrong with it... god you ppl.... there is nothing wrong with f2p in the sense that it does what it needs to do as a demo, I got members because i wanted the new content not because i found something wrong with f2p. If you wanted to buy resident evil 4 and have both a gamecube and a ps2 and the ps2 version has loads of extra content wich one would you buy? (I was in this scenario) obviously the ps2 version, not because there is something wrong with the gamecube version but because the ps2 version has so much more...

its really not the ratio of voters that coems to play here, 15,000 potential members are a lot to pass up 15,000 people paying 5$ a month would be a nice raise Yes of course, I'm not saying it wouldn't. But relatively to the amount of people who would like to become P2p and can't it's not that much. Also, I'm sure all the f2p players realize that, so I think that by voting for the "I have enough to do in the free world" option, it doesn't exclude the possibility of them becoming members later on, because, fact is, f2p is a fun place but can only take you so far when it comes to "pixel satisfaction". So I'll end this with the same way I started: I think there's no need to dramatize it too much. touche
