That Stephen Hawkins thing is all theory though. No one knows how black holes work. For all we know, they work like some sci-fi books, movies, etc. portray them as and could just act as a portal to another part of the universe. If that's that case, then the energy is just moving around to a different spot in the universe. If there are alternate dimensions taking our energy, they probably suffer from black holes too, and it's just a giant energy cycle with black holes as the energy transferers. thats precisely why that theory is B.) and not A.) lol

Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, so a spirit cannot create pure enegry if it was not pure energy to start with. I don't know how you feel about that, but I don't believe in a spirit and that rules out all ghosts and such for me. With demons and the like, I just believe that such things were though of to create a feeling of could-be-punishment if certain ethics were not maintained. That leads into the history religion and all that good stuff though. :thumbsup: haha yeah many of my posts arent this well thought out :P but as for the energy thing there are two ways to explain this. A.) the energy is reused from other spiritual beings or objects, B.) Stephen Hawking recently unveiled his theory that energy and matter was being wiped of the face of the universe by black holes and that only alternate dimensions without black holes would survive in the long run... assuming he is right and scientists were wrong about energy being in existance forever they may also be wrong about energy and matter being created! since this is a very delicate subject and pretty much on a belief basis your opinion is as good as anyone else who believes its real. hurrah for opinions! \

Not really. You can't physically go back in time. If you use the Pluto example you could see 5 hours into the past, but if you actually traveled back to earth you would be back at the present, since what you saw on Pluto wasn't the actual physical past, it was just a delay in the signal. It's hard to explain but if you think about it, it makes sense. You can look into the past, but you cannot go to the past Not exactly, you can travel to the future. True going back in time is pretty much impossible, but traveling to the future is possible, but you could never go back to the "present" if you did. Going to the future involves a process that isn't really related to what we were just talking about. In short, if you go fast time slows down. If you ride in a plane all day and your watch was an atomic clock, by the end of the day your watch would be about a second slower than an atomic clock that was on the ground. :uhh: This doesn't have any big implications but if you traveled like 10x the speed of light time really slows down. If you flew in a circle at 10x the speed of light for about a year and then came back to earth, what was 1 year to you and your ship was actually something like 1000 years to everyone else on the earth :-s I saw something on the science channell about this but they said that if you went in a circle it may cause a strange effect that takes you into the past, and to go to the future you would have to go a straight line

wow some very strange theories here :? now I present you with my own! It is my belief that a spirit is someones being compressed into pure energy, pure energy can pass through solid objects and even through time and space... now when someone's being becomes strong enough it can manifest itself into more complex forms! maybe a lady in white hanging from a tree (I saw this one o.o) or just to their previous appearance, wich is still pure energy but should be more complex and thus when they are in their complex form they have more limits to them than a being comprised of just energy... also the reason to why some spirits replay their death or a favorite activity is the energy reacting with a strong emotional feeling from the being, so in theory if a being remembers how they died they may become very emotional causing the energy to become a complex form and repeat the event. this is not all though! there is a third form wich is so complex and so restrained that it may not be able to do any actions that involve passing through other matter, this form is more solid in appearance and has some physical strength to it (can scratch, push, pick up objects, and interact with humans) they can also change into more creatures than in a normal complex form... such as a wolf or demon for example, this third form also reacts violently with emotional energy wich causes them to attack others or just scream in the night because they are lost, confused, and or angry. Poltergeists and the like however are normal complex spirits wich have little physical strength (most of the time it is derived from major emotional stress on the being) but they are hidden from human eyes because they may not be fully manifested yet. There thats my view on it :wink:

nope maybe you pay rougely $1 a month and actully you dont even pay, you just look and jagex gets payed for the ads and with that money they keep f2p alive, p2p has no problems they pay $5 a month compaired to the rougly $1 that f2p doesnt even pay. You forget that there are about 6 times more f2pers than members. -.- Actually, there's 8 times more F2Ps. RS has 1mil Members and 9mil active (or all, I don't remember) players. If all F2Ps played 5 times a month and Jagex gets a dollar each time per page, that's about $40mil, compared to Member's $5mil per month. jagex should just make members have ads then f2p would be completely unneeded
