  1. WAT was it sent by pigeon and the pigeon has flown away????
  2. Why do your moderators/admins not seem to even communicate with eachother? That's a terrible way to run a forums. Still waiting on that email though. (or telegraph)
  3. Which scripts are you even talking about? They've been pmed to theAncient and will be to grimy/rocked shortly. Surely you understand we can't post them here. I'm not asking you to post the script, just which one. I'm under the assumption that this was started over the actual bot that a new member to the forum posted on page 5 of the AHK thread, which grimy responded to and said that his forums are not the place for bots. If i'm wrong about that, it's because this wasn't made clear to me at all - the links in my signature were removed for the reason of "grimy's forum supports botting/illegal scripts are posted there."
  4. Which scripts are you even talking about?
  5. And above that it says something is fine because it doesn't move to a predefined point and thus implying that it's against the rules to move to a predefined point. This doesnt even make any sense. can you word it better please, because I honestly can not understand the post.
  6. Is that in reference to an email from jagex or the example posted a few posts up? If its an email i'd love to see some actual proof of that, because of right now it's hard to really take your word on anything. On the topic of the script that was posted that started this all, they were never supported in the first place. You (the tif admins/mods) started removing signatures 3 hours after the post was made and before grimy had even responded to it. You expect a newly formed forum to have instant moderators that can stop rulebreaking posts straightaway? if the tif mods weren't camping on grimy's forums waiting for this to happen, none of this crap would have happened.
  7. Of particular note is the fact that he specifically says touchscreens and similar are allowed. Thus, a program emulating a touchscreen in jumping straight to a point would ALSO be allowed, as the input would be indistinguishable from touchscreen input. So long as you aren't jumping and clicking in a single keystroke, a script would follow these guidelines perfectly. The onus is definitely on the TIF admins if they want to claim that a script that finds a point on the screen and jumps there is illegal, as this post very clearly puts it in the clear. Funny that the quote also says "it is fine because it doesn't allow the cursor to jump to a pre-defined spot". and straight after that's said he says the reasoning behind that "This isn't OK because it's getting multiple actions (move then click) out of one player input. " The issue isn't moving to a predefined spot, it's moving and clicking in one input. re-read the damn post.
  8. ^ That's how you get things done. Don't rely on forum posts that are still in the gray area and up to debate, use your apparent connections to jagex to confirm/deny these things.
  9. Removing a script that's perfectly legal - Good job tif moderation - It really shows how much knowledge you have on the subject that you're moderating on. Get educated on the rules you're enforcing before you remove things that are within the rules. Edit: to make it clear to the normal users that didn't see my previous post that was removed about 3 minutes after me posting it: I posted a script that is COMPLETELY WITHIN jagex's set out rules and it has been removed. It was a response to gandorf's post & it explained how wicked's functions can be used for perfectly legal scripts. Oh, I had the post open in another tab: here it is-
  10. So this is saying it's ok to be posting botting scripts as long as there's a disclaimer telling people they have to make them 1:1 themselves? That's like directing someone to a RWT site, telling them how to use it, and then saying they can't pay for gold as it doesn't fit within Jagex's rules. do you even understand what a bot is my god you people are idiots and are incredibly difficult to deal with when it comes to rules.
  11. *Good thing that the functions on Grimy's forum move to random, not predefined/specific, positions. They move the mouse to anywhere within the item/button's width and height, not one given pixel. **Funny, I was unaware that using an imagesearch on my PC was against RuneScape rules. Why exactly do you believe it's against Jagex's rules to locate the position of a button based on imagesearch? And there was one post that mentioned looking for icons which was followed by me saying, "No, I don't use icon/imagesearch." All the functions on TEF use mathematical formulas to locate buttons and items, not icons. And one last thing... You're telling me their has to be an action for moving the x of the mouse, and another for moving the y? Lol? Where do you get this stuff? Moving +/- 5 pixels or whatever of a certain point, I wonder why you're doing that? It couldn't be to try and get around the macro detection would it? Looking for a specific section of the screen then directing the mouse to this location doesn't seem fishy to you at all? One of your scripts also looks for ore colour I believe it was then clicks that, are you honestly telling me that's not macroing? This isn't including your buttons to click on quick pray (move and click in one button press, against the rules) and such things. Using any sort of method to locate something IS against the rules and doesn't matter if it complies with the other rules, it has to meet all of them. I can't believe you're trying to argue that moving the mouse to a certain point based on the content displayed on the screen is perfectly fine. And to the last part, I never said that. A direction can be diagonal too ;). I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Could you provide proof of these so called PMs? Or do you want to continue making ridiculous comments. Looks like a threat to me. I'll leave the ahk discussion to wicked so he can slap you with the vastly superior knowledge he has on the subject compared to your very little knowledge and misconceptions/ignorance.
  12. Who needs proof when there are no consequences to your actions? They can do what they want as long as they are in the positions they are in. Shame that das stepped down.

  17. Weekly trivia updated for this week.
  18. this entire thread is full of non-intellectuals who dont discuss the real non-issues at hand. its non-trivially non-silly.
  19. Announcement for Dgs ranks Important if you are a wingman/keyer/moderator. The tip.it admins have recently granted us a private forum for the dgs ranks to discuss any issues, suggestions or really anything you want to talk about that you feel the admins should be looking at. You can scroll down the front page of the forums to get there, or just go to: http://forum.tip.it/forum/270-dungeonsweepers/ Wingmen recommendations are also done on the private forums now rather than through runescape pms or other channels, so if you know anyone you feel is worthy of being a wingman - post your reasons why at http://forum.tip.it/topic/293776-wingmen-recommendation-thread/ Weekly trivia suggestions can be posted at http://forum.tip.it/topic/293778-weekly-trivia-archive/ as well as on this thread if you are not a ranked keyer/wingman/moderator. We're currently missing our weekly trivia for this week, so if you have any suggestions, post 'em!
  20. If we were to add that to the guidelines, we might as well turn the guidelines into a giant guide about dungeoneering. It takes 10 seconds to explain to someone that they should have a toolkit, and you wont ever have to explain it to them again. If that is too much effort for you, have your wingman explain it.
  21. Explain to the person in the dg that they should have runes & a toolkit - don't kick people because not only is it against the rules to kick a dgser from a dgs dungeon, you're not teaching them anything.
