Fire surge and a high tier blazer ring is probably equal if not better to a gravecreeper short/long with fractite arrows on necrolord. If you want to speed up your gd clearing abilities, bind a primal rapier over your plate till you find a hood, then bind hood over rapier.

I don't know half of what you can do in a floor, so for you, I have no idea. ;) But for everyone else, arrows are completely useless without a hex. The only time you'd ever need arrows - for Necrolord - you can use a surgebox with a staff instead, and it's only very slightly worse than a grave short with fractite arrows (best arrows you can buy from the smuggler). A team with all arrow binds and no surgeboxes would be slowed down considerably by a few t11 warriors, not to mention dreadnaught and hope devourer. Dread and hope are fine with ragers and faster to melee if u have them. Arrows are also useful for world gorger+kalger, but csb is better. Having a random person with sag arrows when u have no hexes on team is usually nice though. (for those 3 bosses) I just did 3 sub 20 min kalgers (with 3bo ofc ;-), all f59, so fair amount of warriors) with no surgeboxes tho, and "only" 2 hex. But I have to agree lack of surge slowed each floor down 30 secs or so. If u leech def on them its not too bad. There were 4 or 5 instances in those 2 floors where plate saved me from instant death though. (High warps with 4 120 dgers = hard rooms) Binding arrows when you don't have hex is about as useful as binding mind runes.

A tangle gum log can be bought for like 300 gp when you buy your runes and tk at the start, or it can be picked up from drops. To make armour losslessly, hit a dino while you're fighting things in guardian doors and set up your trap. When your trap is set up, stand under it and within 5-10 seconds the dino will be killed. Grab the hides and make the armour in between 2h hits. You can also do this while there is downtime (and assuming you've already gated something beforehand, if not, go gate a door if there are any doors not gated.). To get monsters piled on you in a gd, take your hood off (presuming it's not a rape gd full of t11 rangers and meleers of course.). Otherwise just stand around piles of monsters. I haven't had any experience with a blood necklace so I don't really know all the proper mechanics. edit:ninja posted by obt

we brought 1 3bo random to w99 and kicked him for trying to steal a hex (was camping under gazer while bemis killed it) no hex drop though. also in other news, hexhunters assmeled at necrolord and proceeded to rape the [bleep] outta him.

In 3bo, stealing hexes is okay but kicking people for stealing them isn't.

Ranked keyers in dgs are not allowed to kick anyone from a dungeon without consulting an admin first. Being yelled at is something you have to deal with. Some keyers can get annoyed at people for making mistakes, but they will always offer advice even if they "yell" at you while they do it. I'll be doing some c1s later so you can join me and ask any questions while we c1. I'll be in the dgs chat.

People are going to tell you how to do things right, if you can't handle a keyer getting a bit mad at you for not paying attention (i.e paying 75% attention to runescape like you said yourself), you should learn to key yourself. No keyer (dgs keyer, not 148/117) will ever kick you from a dungeon for making an innocent mistake (i.e using the wrong style, forgetting to regate) as long as you learn from your mistakes. If you know these things are the wrong things to do, why are you still doing them? It takes literally about 2 seconds to check the map and see if you're in a dead end, or even less to check if the door is a gd. You don't seem to be able to learn from your mistakes which is a big part of dungeoneering. All in all, change your attitude and people will dg with you. Otherwise, use 117/148.

Faster, higher hits. :P I think Michael or Andy have already hit the proposed max on a t11 mage that we had been looking for for weeks and weeks when we were first testing sniper vs. desp. So far I've hit 400+ on T11 mages, I'd like for other Hexhunter owners to post their maxes here. I hit a 385 on a skele mage. A skele mage!! Sad that I don't get a ring reset so I can get my tokens back from sniper.

Really, i don't think there are problems with non TIF'ers joining as alot of the people in the clan aren't hugely active posters for this community, but it is about their attitude that matters. If there is someone who genuinely wants to learn and get better but has only visited tif maybe once, there should be no problems. It's just far easier for us to put a blanket ban on people who find us via rsof/hiscores as about 90% of those people are horrible dgers only dungeoneering for their rapier. There is no short supply of bad or lazy dgers, we want people willing to learn and grow to become great dungeoneer-ers.
