Again, I disagree. I'm positive that if I suddenly demanded my non-keyer teammates to bind a SSH and have them clear guardian rooms over skilling, some of them would probably never dungeoneer with me again. Also, while it's not an argument against calling this a basics guide, I'm wondering what the current 'main dungeoneering guide' should be referred to if we were to call this the basics guide. The main dungeoneering guide should be removed and a better one should be put in place if it's not up to standards.

I'd love to know which scripts you are even talking about, because the pms i've seen are wicked's functions - which I have not seen grimy or anyone saying they're illegal (which they aren't, by the way.) The amount of ignorance you display is ridiculous - If you're talking about the fletching macro that was posted and is now edited to be 4 inputs to 3 outputs, my god I am wasting my time here.

Because we cannot provide evidence of the contact we had in the form the contact was made, as stated several times previously. I have 0 reason to believe you have even been in contact with anyone from jagex then. Why did darkdude even say he was in contact with them and use that as a point of argument if he could not back it up with a tiny shred of evidence I am fully aware of that and i'm waiting for jagex's reply. That is not the issue i'm discussing right now - darkdude uses his alleged contact with jagex as a reason to start removing signatures and painting TEF as a site that "encourages botting", yet can not provide any evidence??

So you're saying because the people that look at tipit don't want good guides, tipit should just keep on putting out crap guides? By your first post you imply that an advanced guide would put people off -> That would mean you think tipit should just simply have basic guides.

On another note - mass deletion of posts is a horrible way to moderate things.

I'd have no problem with them removing the links if tef actually "encouraged botting" as has been pmed to everyone who got links removed. The thing is, tef doesn't encourage botting in any way, and the scripts don't even have inputs listed - it's up to the user to decide the inputs and follow the rules themselves. Basically, the tif admins/mods don't trust people to abide by the rules on a different site so they removed the links. Guilty until proven innocent.

So you're going to block TEF because you could potentially break the 1;1 rule by making a script for yourself (assuming wicked's scripts are the ones you have a problem with, that hasn't even been made clear.), but you won't block sites that allow ads for bots/buying runescape gp that directly break the rules? None of wickeds scripts as far as I can see break the rs rules unless the user themselves makes it more than 1 output for 1 input (read wicked's well written post 1 page back.) Edit for sonic's post: It's in metagame development now seeing as it's more about developing scripts than discussing them. (I assume, dunno who moved it.)

Like brainy said, swiftkit was not allowed because it was "3rd party software" - it's the automatic response to something that jagex aren't going to investigate any further.

I don't see how someone working in community management who has trouble organizing q&a's in game is able to answer a question on such a debated issue. Yes, I'm not going to take the answer from timbo the same as I don't ask my butcher how to fix my toilet.
