Gloves and Boots unfortunately are too much considering in P2P Mage Boosting boots cost 150K and Mage Boosting gloves require Desert Treasure or Recipe For Disaster, two challenging quests. I 100% agree with allowing Snare to F2P because Bind is just [cabbage]. I sort of like your "Elemental" Blast which would have to be higher then Wind Wave to hit 17, higher then Water to hit 18. I *sort of* support allowing Waves to F2P as long as P2P is the only source for them to get them. Fair to F2P for being able to use much better Spells, fair to P2P for being able to make a nice penny off of selling them, and fair to JAGeX for not screwing over either group, and not losing a dollar themselves - if not making more from F2P'ers wanting to merchant Blood Runes/Cheaper Mage while F2P PKing. Also, give the lower leveled Mages simply the Blue Robe bottom with Mage bonus, and give the higher leveled Mages(59+ Mage) Dark Wizard Robes (Hood, Top, Bottom), and that Quest for the Cape I mentioned(which would be either Black-Red with unique Markings to match Dark Wizard Robes. The Robes would only be obtainable from P2P. Top = +4 Mage Offence and Defence Bottom = +3 Mage Offence and Defence Hood = +2 Mage Offence and Defence Cape = +3 Mage Offence and Defence Giving F2P Mages a total of +32 Mage Offensive Bonus(Including Staff and Amulet) and +24 Mage Defence(Including AntiDragon Shield and Staff). Giving Mage Bonus, not AS good as Ghostly(+37 with same peices), making F2P'ers and P2P'ers happy.

I'm not a Elvemage fan but you can't deny he is very popular. And to the real pures, 0mfg0rz is probably the most remembered. Mahatma, Hiei, and Finnald are only famous because they created the 3 biggest Pure clans.

You get a child who does not yet understand right from wrong (btw minors in real are under 16 or 17 in some states and Canada, 18 in Europe for the most part and that statement gets you jail time but not hard time) and feed them incorrect information (the sticky contravening rule 2 in this instance) and you get children who make their own rules and parrot an authority figure (in this case Jagex and their poor judgement). Meaning you already know the risks of the wilderness because you know what the wilderness is. It is equal to or more of a warning then the second screen. If JAGeX wanted a good community they should have thought advertising it on known children gaming sites. Am going for now so won't see your next post.

It pops up while you're buying a chisel from the general store when the shopkeep is at the north end of the shop. It shows up when you have no intention of entering the wilderness, and when you accidentally enter wilderness it doesn't stop you. It's NOWHERE near sufficient protection to players who are unexperienced with the wilderness. Even the second trade window shows up EVERY time you trade... Don't you think if a notice popped up on an inexperience player's screen he'd read it? If it pops up that automatically makes you accept the dangers of the wilderness whether you have intentions of going in, or not. If you don't read it and your just buying a chisel then you either don't care or you already know it meaning you accept the dangers of the wilderness.

I'm glad you posted r2-pleasent, I really am I have always thought you have intelligent posts. But the point is as you may know, it IS possible to lure WITHOUT lieing as I said earlier. I DO think that all trade scams are fair game because of the second screen, and some Duel Arena scams because of the second screen(some because armour/weapons/jewelry on/off doesn't show on second screen). It is clearly stated in English in Light Text upon a dark surface. There is no way you can miss it if your smart enought to know not to quickly accept something like that. I have lost 2M Stakes at Duel Arena because I didn't check the Second Screen. I don't call them a scammer, they aren't. It was my fault. If I ever am lured I won't think they are scammers because it was MY fault. Actually I intend on letting it die down for a couple months so people are no longer worried about it then start back up. Starting the luring phase all over. Just wanted to add another point. The lure of which you drop cash in the wild and they run in to pick it up. Completly Legit. I can do it without lieing once. It's simple. And legal. This won't stop luring.

The debate is not over. The discussion is whether or not it should be alloud or not. I'm not trying to get it back, as I said I have absolutely no problem with the new rule. And if you haven't realized 80%+ of the Item Scam reports are bots. Not much will happen. Chances are nothing will happen if you are reported for luring.

How the hell does luring go against all that? It goes against it being a dangerous place? You said yourself people going there know the risks, and it's a risk they willingly choose to take. WE DON'T FORCE ANYONE INTO THE WILDERNESS, THEY CHOOSE SO WILLINGLY. THEY DO NOT CHOOSE TO ENTER THE WILDERNESS WILLINGLY. The spirit tree isn't in the wilderness. Teleporting to lure them out, or running north hoping they follow without realizing that it's the wilderness IS NOT THEM WILLINGLY ENTERING THE WILDERNESS KNOWING THE RISKS. The wilderness is meant for people to kill other people who KNOW it's the wilderness, and ACCEPT the risks of the wilderness. The warning sign that shows up even if you're just visiting the general store of edgeville when the storekeeper is at the north end, pickpocket a guard north of edgeville, or run east to use the spirit tree. And after it shows up, it's GONE. If there was a bold red line indicating the start of the wilderness, and it warned you EVERY TIME YOU CHOSE TO CROSS, then yes, they did choose to enter the wilderness willingly. But as there isn't such a safeguard, people enter without realizing its wilderness. THAT'S why it's a deception. But the Jojo Lure. The lure of dropping money in the wild and them running in, is completely legal. And the overall point is, they get a warning, they should read the warning if they don't know where they are going. No point in warning someone every time you choose to go near the wilderness because that would mean they had already seen it - meaning they either disregarded their own safety and made everything legal or already know what can happen, also making everything legal.

I have lost 1-2M stakes from not checking the second screen. I admit that was stupidity on my part. They should too. If they switch armour off or something then THAT is scamming since that doesn't show on the second screen - No Warning. As I said. I have made a lot more money from Staking then luring. 100's of Mils more. Don't assume I lured for all of my money because you'd be more then wrong. You'd be an idiot.

I AM OFTEN WRONG, BUT IN THIS CASE I DON'T BELIEVE I AM. I BELIEVE WILD LURING SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. I ALSO SAID I MOST LIKELY WILL NOT LURE ANYMORE, SINCE I HAVE MADE MUCH MORE FROM STAKING, AND A DECENT AMOUNT FROM PKING. I ONLY LURED FOR THE THRILL OF BEING ABLE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE LURED WAS THINKING.

Staking and PKing deliberately makes other players have less so you can have more. There is a difference between doing the legitimately and doing taking items from people and lying to take items from people. Honestly, I can't see how anybody can form an argument against luring. Do people of today really have that warped of a view on morality? That its ok, in anything, game or not, to lie and cheat people out of stuff? It's fine if you wanna argue you're silly little "loop holes" in the rules but its just wrong and really sad that the only way you can enjoy this game is to prey off other players who may not know the situation they are getting into. Actually I have noticed a decent amount of people being pro-luring and most of the people against it either act stupid or are the same people. I did move on I told already told you. I'm just curious as to what others think. Again they may hardly be a challenge but Luring is more challenging then Staking. I can honestly say my post would be around 200 right now if Graveyard post's counted. And I used a previous username. "Rose_2_Pure" I was using that until my friend whom I named that after came back. He was getting messages in-game from people thinking he was me. He has roughly 600-700 Posts I think.
