Well you could get 20 defence for Slayer since most of the defensive items you need have a level of 20. You can learn to pray flick too, that helps ALOT no matter what you do. It's tiring though. 1 defence level is only something like .2 of a level though, it's not a huge deal.

I dont see how. Both skills get tedious at 80. Say you wanted 99 cooking and 95 fishing. Would you fish and cook your fish or would you make money you needed, buy fish to cook, cook them then fish some? I guess I'm extremely biased as to the "grinding is the best way to play this game" stuff though.

For F2P no For P2P its too low to even care for. Until 85 mining, it sucks for cash and is an all-round fail skill, yet important.

This. Personally, I'm sick of people telling people not to get 99's for the cape. Why not? Runescape IS a largely grind based game. No Kent, it's not considered a grinding game. RuneScape itself yes it is a grinding game but the meaning of 'grinding' in RuneScape is different to others. So RuneScape-ly speaking it isnt a grinding game. You just grind and then complain how it's a grinding game :|

If you fish your own fish and cook them for 99 fishing then you're doing 2 activities: Fishing Cooking If you buy 99 cooking, then fish to 93~ you're doing 3 activities: Making money Cooking then Fishing. Sometimes being Self-efficient works out.

What exactly makes being a skiller more of a challenge, other than a lower xp rate for most skills and not being able to do combat? Many people mistake tediousness for difficulty. While there is no difficulty in RuneScape, just luck and tediousness, we may as well call the 'tediousness' 'hardness' since about 1/3 of RuneScape actually knows what Tedious means. Ok lets see. Mains are the real option in the game - Skillers and Pures(PvP) are the same thing. One just kills people, and the other skills. Now, the main rant is PKers/Pures are more useful or realisticly better than Skillers. The real answer is no, they arent. You may find skillers pointless, and useless, but the fact is, having a 'crippled' account is just a choice, as is a PKing account. And really, since skillers dont use a few hours a day PvMing or PvPing they gather skills much more often. Another fact is; alot of monsters in RuneScape drop alot of [cabbage] drops that should only be made by certain skills.

I agree with everything, but 1 thing. I have to say that Mining will lose its name as the most grindable yet respectable 99 in existance if people got more than 1 ore from a rock. Sure it makes it sound good, but to be honest, it's unrealistic (Jagex somehow aims at that :lol:), and it would have a MASSIVE effect on the whole game.. Much worse than you think. And you think its bad :|

Well his airgame has to be his best game altogether unless you include jab.. It's very important to know it. F air is used to aid recovery (Foxcopter), the possibility your opponent is being unpredictible in the air, and ledgehopping. N air is just used to hit basically, after a grab or shorthopping it, and to edgeguard to an extent. D air to combo combo combo combo -> u smash :lol: U air is useless since it's predictible but I think if it's not used much you can get someone star KO'd if they are trying to recover from the top. If they hit you out of it they have more lag to deal with. This is from a brief read-through on SMASHBOARDS -.-

Apparently unscoped iron sights rarely miss, so I might ATTEMPT short sniping with an MG42 in hardcore on my old account which has all weapons =P

Surprising to me how you're making a contribution now but seriously just get over the Wii vs Xbox / PS3 crap, there's no reason to hate on a console other than the fact it's outsold yours -.- That's fair enough, but still. Both are equally hard to get kills with since one is weaker and the other has a longer time before shooting. Although, the Kar98k seems to be easier to use if you think about how easy it may be to get headshots. Serious question here. A while back we were discussing Iron Sights. Someone, I cant recall who (sorry) said the MG42 had a good one for headshots. So I was wondering.. Has anyone tried pseudo-sniping with that? lol

No it isnt. It's lame, and even worse than abusing glitches. And people deserve to be banned or somewhat from the whole game for a while for doing it. I can't even sell my copy of MW to someone, any Aussies wanting to buy a copy on 360, let me know. I hate it compared to WaW. You hate it compared to World at War? WaW is a good game, and currently it's one of the games I'm addicted to. But why would you want to sell MW? Maybe right now you like WaW over MW, but do you realize just how much better of a game MW is? I guess some of it is opinionated, but gaming-wise, MW is a superior game. And Ray, you're wrong. Kar98k should be your most accurate sniper rifle. I've never missed a straight up 1hk on someone.

Or some people actually notice its just an FPS. The same genre game, especially like an FPS doesnt differ much. Both games are run by SMG and MG whoring either way so no matter which game you choose you have to be a sprayer. Oh, and why is the PTRS so low, hob? My order would be Mosin Nagant Kar98k PTRS Springfield Ariska I like the Mosin 'cause it has the same qualities as the Kar98k but kills juggernoobs a bit easier. PTRS is too inaccurate. If you vs someone who is smart, when they hear a sniper rifle go off they look at the minimap. ;) Ariska just fails. I lined up a straight shot on a guy who didnt move at all and I completely missed
