I agree with ouchy. I am quite horrible at pixelling and my first thing took 7 hours. I didn't pixel for a omnth, and now i'm on my third. I haven't shown anyone at the gallery my stuff though :-# *cough cough* :twss:

If it takes you a week, then it takes you a week. Don't burn yourself out in the process, and never pixel again. You look quite promising!

Sorry, I can see where you got confused. What I meant is that the bottom of it is not a smooth curve, and it looks pixelated, or jagged, rather.

I don't blame you, to be honest. Maybe try something like 350 x 110 Pixels? Keep trying signatures with humans in them, you'll get better faster that way. Thanks for that link, I'll try one myself soon ;)

I agree with Yaff on his statement. Go for something like his size, it will be much better to work with. May I have a link to the guide you used please?

As awesome as that would be, I don't see it happening in anyone's life time. -.- On Topic: New Zealand, my country, is making the switch to digital next year, I think. That's a problem for me, as one of the channels I watch isn't on the digital box...Doesn't matter, our pay-monthly digital has it ;)

Sure, Paint.Net is a different program the Microsoft Paint, but in the way that you just used it, it is no different at all. By the looks of it you used no features at all, other than pen tool/paint bucket. So you can put that card back up your sleeve.

Yeah, same for me. Watching both of the Canon's now :P I have an Olympus camera that is 7.1 MP (But no manual feature ) and I find it fine.

Is your camera still stuffed from skiing? What camera are you getting? Anyway.. #1. Nice, but the lightning is too bright, and it is slightly blurred #2. Cute, but not artistic #3. It's alright, but I feel it would be better if the focus point on the hammer was slightly closer #4. Quite artistic, but the lighting is only slightly poor

By the looks of it, it has no manual features other than the normal Macro, and flash/on/off/auto By manual, we mean things like Shutter Speed, Aperture, those things. It's a pity too that you just got the camera, as it would be rude and probably expensive to go get a better one. If you were wanting to upgrade, you would be looking at a DSLR. I would suggest this one: Sony Alpha A200. That will have everything you need and more. My most common is photography, with my crappy little camera, and I do digital art with Paint.Net/GIMP.
